About Magazine-Agent.com

Magazine-Agent.com is the United States’ second largest Internet based magazine subscription agency which has been in business for more than 10 years and specializes in offering their customers some of the best deals in the nation.

How Does It Work?

According to their website, Magazine-Agent.com partners directly with the publishers of magazines in order to provide their customers with some of the best deals available on subscriptions.

Their website provides fixed terms and continuous service for more than 1,000 publications with whom they have built long lasting and trusting relationships, and because of this they can fulfill new subscription orders faster than other competing websites.

They also promise that because they have partnered directly with the publishers, they never offer any deals or discounts which have not been specifically authorized by the magazines themselves, meaning that even though you are receiving a wonderful deal on the product you are purchasing, you are still eligible for a refund if you are unhappy with what you receive.

Once customers purchase through this website, they can use it for the rest of their customer service needs if they choose – renewing a subscription, changing an address, reporting a damaged magazine issue, and more.

Cost/Price Plans

The website is very clear that because of their close relationship to the publications themselves, they are able to negotiate some of the lowest prices on the market for their subscriptions. When looking through the magazines they offer, you will see the subscription deals associated with that title clearly laid out, as well as a clearly marked display of the discount you are getting off the regular price of the subscription.

Refund Policy

Magazine-Agent.com says that when a customer places an order for a magazine subscription with their website, they are automatically provided with a 90 day, risk free trial period.

Customers who are not completely happy with their service, experience, or what they have received with their subscription have the first three months to call and cancel their subscription and receive a “full and prompt” refund credited to the original source of the payment.

Customer Service Contact Info

Customers who wish to contact Customer Service with questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by phone at 888-590-0030, or through their website using your account information if you are already an active customer.

Reputation

Unfortunately this website has very few reviews available, making it difficult for people to evaluate whether or not they want to do business with this company based on previous customer experiences.

That being said, this company does offer their customers good prices authorized by the publishers themselves, and also provides a 90 day Refund Policy. It appears that this company is operating as a middle man that can provide genuine benefits to customers, with very little drawback.

If any customer has had poor experiences with this company or their service, they should share their experience to better help inform other customers.

Competitors and Alternatives?

There are many, many different magazine subscription websites out there, though Magazine-Agent.com strongly advises people against using a site which has not partnered directly with the publishers, as unauthorized deals can be revoked by the publisher when discovered. And of course, customers can always choose to go directly to the websites of the magazines themselves.

If you have experience with this company or their products, please leave your Magazine-Agent.com reviews below.

This company is not good at customer service!

June 9, 2021

Without being aware of it I got my Economist subscription through Magazine Agent. When I started getting two magazines I learned from the Economist that they had started a second subscription. I called MagazineAgent and they corrected that problem and I went back to getting one magazine per week and my subscription date had been extended.

No magazine this week so I looked at the Economist website and found that my print subscription (exp date: Oct 08, 2022) had been cancelled. I talked to an agent on this website and all he could tell me was that MagazineAgent had cancelled it. After waiting nearly 20 min I talked to the same guy who had solved the double mailing issue a month ago.

He filed a report and told me that I should hear back next week.

Wonky Website and Horrible Customer Service Assistance

August 8, 2018

I had ordered a magazine to be mailed to a friend in another state on August 7, 2018 and then set up an account to log into. The next day, I was not able to log in and the website appears to be like a scam site. Each time I tried logging in, it took me back to the welcome screen. After several attempts, I decided to call the customer service line (888-590-0030). I was transferred from the general customer service person, named Lisa, for ordering print to a man who I assumed a supervisor of the department. They had no training in how to deal with the website problems and seemed to have no line of communication for customers to seek help in regards to technical issues. I recommend going to another company to order magazines with.
