Without being aware of it I got my Economist subscription through Magazine Agent. When I started getting two magazines I learned from the Economist that they had started a second subscription. I called MagazineAgent and they corrected that problem and I went back to getting one magazine per week and my subscription date had been extended.
No magazine this week so I looked at the Economist website and found that my print subscription (exp date: Oct 08, 2022) had been cancelled. I talked to an agent on this website and all he could tell me was that MagazineAgent had cancelled it. After waiting nearly 20 min I talked to the same guy who had solved the double mailing issue a month ago.
He filed a report and told me that I should hear back next week.
I had ordered a magazine to be mailed to a friend in another state on August 7, 2018 and then set up an account to log into. The next day, I was not able to log in and the website appears to be like a scam site. Each time I tried logging in, it took me back to the welcome screen. After several attempts, I decided to call the customer service line (888-590-0030). I was transferred from the general customer service person, named Lisa, for ordering print to a man who I assumed a supervisor of the department. They had no training in how to deal with the website problems and seemed to have no line of communication for customers to seek help in regards to technical issues. I recommend going to another company to order magazines with.
