About Lola Tampons
Lola Tampons are a new product being sold by Lola, a company that believes that their customers should have access to organic, cotton feminine products which are delivered right to their door.
How Does It Work?
According to their website, the creators of Lola were frustrated by the fact that current FDA regulations don’t require tampon companies to disclose any of their ingredients, and it has been well publicized in the past that some of the ingredients used in feminine care products have been found to be harmful.
Lola decided to make a line of feminine care products that focused on complete transparency and utilized only organic ingredients, without any synthetic ingredients whose health affects haven’t been fully studied.
In addition, they sell their products via subscription box and their monthly delivery service delivers all the products you choose right to your door, each month or based on the frequency that you believe is best for your needs.
Ingredients and Side Effects
Their website will provide customers with access to the ingredients used in each type of product they sell, but they do say that their products are completely free of pesticides, synthetic fibers, dyes, toxins, latex, formaldehyde, and fragrances, and all their products are certified by ICEA and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).
At this time, Lola products are only available for subscription purchases and not one-time purchases. When you sign up for one of their subscriptions, the applicator tampons will be priced at $10 per box, and non-applicator tampons, pads, and liners are each $9 per box. Customers who choose to order more than one box will be given $1 off each box in the subscription, so two box subscribers will save $2 and three box subscribers will save $3.
This company also offers their customers what they call the First Period Kit, which has been designed to meet the needs of girls getting their period for the first time and includes six ultra thin day pads w/ wings, six ultra thin night pads w/ wings, 10 ultra thin liners, 10 light applicator tampons, four instructional tear cards (one for each product), one canvas pouch, one set of stickers, one keepsake box, and a $5 LOLA credit towards a new subscription.
While this Kit is designed for girls who are new to getting their period, it is also available to ordered by customers who are interested in trying their products before signing up for a subscription.
Lola says that they love their products and genuinely believe that their customers will love them too, however they do understand that not every product will be a perfect fit for all of their different customers. But unfortunately, due to the intimate nature of their products, this company cannot actually accept returns at this point.
