About Jyve.com

Are you looking to earn a little extra money on the side? Perhaps you want the flexibility of setting your own hours, but you aren’t ready to give up the pay of a full-time job. Jyve makes it possible for you to connect with others for better work opportunities or for the ability to work mostly from home.

What is Jyve.com?

Jyve is headquartered in San Francisco and was founded in 2015 by Cammy Bergren, Sam Purtill, James Kairos, and Bradford Oberwager. These individuals had the dream of changing the way our world functions, and they’re making big strides with Jyve, a business optimization and talent marketplace platform that connects retailers and brands.

It may sound complicated, but really, the process of working with Jyve.com is quite easy. This rapidly growing technology merchandising company connects brands with labor to solve the most pressing issues in the industry of consumer goods. Jyve partners with some of the largest retailers and brands in the world, serving as what they call the “TaskRabbit, Lyft, and Uber” of the merchandising world.

The organization connects individuals with employment opportunities that provide real compensation. If you are college student, stay at home mom, or experienced merchandiser, these jobs all have something to offer to you. You can work part-time or full-time with Jyve - there are no specific time commitment requirements.

There’s no shortage of opportunities available, either. As a worker, you can complete several in-store jobs, like brand ambassadorship, e-fulfillment shopping, ordering, merchandising, stocking, auditing, display building, and more. The organization utilizes proprietary technology to provide in-store jobs to a broad network of talented employees.

How to Sign Up For Jyve.com

Jyve is the trusted name for the US grocery industry, as well as for some of the country’s largest brands. With over 1,200 cities served and nearly 400,000 completed jobs, this company is revolutionizing the way companies think about merchandising. Jyve matches skills to needs, recognizing that when there is a job to be done, Jyve can help fill in the blank.

As an aspiring Jyve worker, you will need to register for an account to begin the process. You’ll have to provide basic information about yourself and you may also have to complete a background check. You will complete a video intro and you can then progress to the onboarding process, in which you'll complete Jyve certifications online.  You can then shadow an experienced Gyver to gain experience before claiming a job and starting to work.

Besides these simply steps, the hiring process is easy. Your hourly pay can range from $200 a week to $2000 a week - it all depends on how much and how often you want to work. You’ll get paid every Friday.

Customer Service

It’s easy to get ahold of someone at Jyve if you have any questions. The organization has multiple social media profiles on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. While the company does not have a phone number listed on its website, you can contact them via the email contact form or drop them a line at their physical address in San Francisco.

Online Customer Reviews/Complaints

From the brand perspective, there are quite a few reasons to go with Jyve. All jobs and workers are certified according to industry standards, and they are skill-tested in-field. Workers are rated on every job performed, so you always know what you are getting into.

Whether you are a worker or a brand owner, you have lots of options via the Jyve app, too. You can track and view ongoing jobs, view results and feedback from past jobs, provide feedback, identify out-of-stock SKUs, and even receive stock data and photographs. Your options are endless.

As a worker, you will be responsible for your own schedule. You will respond to Jyves chosen form the Jyve App and maintain brand product in coolers, displays, shelves, and racks in stores by identifying replenishment needs and reporting on inventory. You may be responsible for changing or taking down product displays, or replacing damaged or defective products.

Customers love that, as a Jyver, you have access to an array of benefits. You can manage your own schedule and work as little or as much as you’d like. You can work with the brands you love the most and be your own boss. While you must be at least eighteen years of age and have an iPhone running iOS 10 or later, these are minimal requirements that many workers can meet.

You don’t have to be a driver- you don’t even have to have a car. All you need to do is be able to work independently and take responsibility for each Jyve to which you apply and accept.

Jyve does not have a profile with the BBB, but does have mostly positive job reviews across all networks, including Glassdoor, Indeed, and more. Workers love the flexible hours and while the jobs can sometimes be hard to earn, there are plenty of opportunities to grow as you gain experience.

Competitors and Alternatives

Jyve isn’t the only company claiming to revolutionize the way people work. If you are looking for a more flexible gig, you might also want to consider signing up with companies like Granify, Quri, and Field Agent.

There are some key differences, however. Granify provides software solutions, helping retailers develop their sales techniques using machine learning technologies and big data. Quri is similar to Jyve, helping stores improve their execution with increase in-store visibility and marketing techniques. Field Agent offers location-based information and insights, helping companies connect with customers all over the world.

Is Jyve.com Worth It?

If you’re looking for a new place to work, Jyve is legit. This company offers everything from competitive pay and all the benefits of working according to your own schedule.
