InventHelp, located online at InventHelp.com, is a Pennsylvania based company established in 1984 that helps people with an idea for a new product or invention do what needs to be done to get their concept to market.
InventHelp claims their company is America’s largest inventor service firm, employing over two hundred people in various positions needed to help their clients develop their concepts and submit them to companies.
InventHelp.com says that they can help their clients with a multitude of services needed by new inventors, including but not limited to: submitting your ideas, helping you get a patent, helping you get publicity, and having prototype models made.
In addition, InventHelp maintains a Data Bank of companies that will review their client invention submissions in confidence. They claim they are the only invention assistance company that maintains such a Data Bank.
Also, they claim they hold the nation’s largest invention trade show, The Invention & New Product Exposition, where they appeal to more companies to join their Data Bank or to become a client company to whom they can submit future invention ideas.
Traditionally, companies such as Davison or Inventing.com that offer to help you with inventions are often surrounded by complaints of “scam” and “rip off,” since their clients are paying fees but don’t often feel like they see much work in return.
When you sign any paperwork or pay any fees to a company, make sure that you clearly understand what it is that you will be receiving in return. Though InventHelp claims to have a great success rate, they do clearly state that they do not guarantee anyone profits.
