InTheSwim.com is an online retailer that promises to provide residential and commercial pool owners with everything they need to keep their pool clean and functioning well, as well as products for entertainment.
How Does It Work?
According to their website, In The Swim carries more than 2,500 items in stock and operates more than nine distribution centers across the United States, meaning that they not only carry a wide variety of products for pools – including above ground pools themselves – but they actually have them available for immediate purchase and fast delivery.
Like any other online retailer, customers can go to their website and use their search feature to locate any specific product they are hoping to purchase, but they can also search through their current inventory by categories like Chemicals, Equipment, Accessories, Covers, Pool Liners, Toys & Floats, Pools, Spas, Parts, Commercial Products, and Sale.
The prices of the products on this website will certainly vary, as it depends on the type of product you are getting, the volume of product you choose to order, and other factors which may influence price.
Customers who are not satisfied with the product they have purchased can return it within 14 days for a full refund of the purchase price. If products are returned between 15 and 30 days after the date of purchase, they will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
In order to make your return, you simply need to complete the back side of the shipping form that was included with your order, and you must indicate the reason for the return. Then send your package back to their return address, using a trackable shipping method.
Unfortunately no returns can be accepted on custom orders, above ground liners, or drilled solar reels, unless they have a manufacturer’s defect. If you have received a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, you must contact their Customer Service team at 800-374-1500 instead of going through the standard return process. This is also the number customers should call if they have any questions about returns.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by phone at 800-288-7946 or by email at [email protected] Their website also provides a list of different email addresses and phone numbers of specific departments, which may be a more direct or efficient way to speak with someone in the appropriate department to meet your needs.
This company receives many different types of reviews from all around the internet, likely because they do offer such a wide variety of products. Because of this, customers will be better off searching for a review of the company in relation to the particular product they are considering ordering, so they can get access to the most relevant and accurate reviews available.
There are a few negative reviews available online for this company, commenting that their Customer Service team is not the most helpful and that although they do offer free Shipping in many cases, their Handling fees can be significantly expensive.
Competitors and Alternatives?
There are many other online retailers which will offer pool owners the products they need to keep their pool in the best condition possible, as well as many local retailers that may be available in your residential area.

If I could give it a zero I would. Zero creditability
horrible customer service. Do NOT do business with this company, you will regret it.
Horrible company be warned!
I purchased a "UNIVERSAL" COVER KIT and I called them to return it and they told me it was a day after 14 days and there will be a 20% restocking fee! How is this my fault! I ordered this kit before I could open my pool as it's been raining and cold everyday. Besides tgat it says "UNIVERSAL" on it so how does it not fit!? This company is horrible and I would never purchase anything from them again!
We’ve purchased quite a few items from them and they’ve all lasted for one season. There floats...junk, solar covers...junk.
This sounds like a Raving review and maybe back in 2014 they were good...not any more! In 2014 they replaced our solar cover under warranty for the same reasons the replacement was turned down for. The thicker solar cover comes with a 7 year warranty that now ONLY covers the seams. So when you’re losing a hundred little blue dots a day, they blame it on your pool chemistry. How convenient since they don’t live locally for you to even take a sample over to prove them wrong.
You know they’re selling junk when they advertise on their site it takes 10 to 12 days for a warranty person to get back in touch with you. Then they want pictures so there’s another 2 weeks until you back from them...so I called them instead...and was turned down on the s warranty after 2 seasons of use...less than 12 month use on a 7 year warranty. Shame on them...we are done!
I will NEVER purchase another item from In The Swim!! I have purchased two different solar covers from you, the last one being last year.
The solar cover is completely disintegrating and after months of going back and forth sending pictures and making calls, of which I've never received a response, I called again today and spoke to Jenae the "supervisor" and was told that a solar cover that is disintegrating in NOT covered under the warranty and there's nothing she could do!
This is completely unacceptable and I'll make sure to not only tell everyone that I know about this poor customer service, but I will be going to every possible social media site and advise others not to purchase anything from this company. It was not the cheapest solar cover, I have purchased both the top of the line solar cover and the next one down only to have the same issue.
