I have used the hipages service about 5 times over the last year, it started with cleaning up the gardens and removal of leaves last december, and then a few months later for our toilet blocked, and then a sun shade for the front.
The point is, we found it easy to use, we got quotes and calls from trades quickly. It certainly beat me googling or pulling out the old yellow pages.
I did have a problem with the shade sail quote as it was originally put under the wrong category, after pointing this out it was fixed and I then had calls pretty quickly.
