Goglia Nutrition, found online at G-Plans.com, is a company that promises people a way to lost up to three pounds each week simply by following the perfect metabolic diet for their personal body.

How Does It Work?

According to their website, Goglia Nutrition is owned and operated by Dr. Philip Goglia, who says that he is regularly referred to as “Nutritionist to the Stars” because of his work with famous actors and actresses who need to either lose weight or gain muscle for upcoming movie roles. 

To do this quickly and efficiently, Dr. Goglia helps them determine their Metabolic Type and then creates a personalized G-Plan just for them. Goglia says that the best way to change your body is to eat the right foods at the right times in the right amounts, which is what his personalized G-Plans will tell you.

To determine your Metabolic Type you can either take a short quiz or have a blood test done and use your Lipid Profile to identify your type. Once you have your profile and become a Goglia Nutrition member, you will get customized meals plans delivered to you every seven days.  


You will also get access to the tracking tools you need to follow your weight loss and fat loss, with this website promising fat loss of at least 1.5% per week and often much more when you begin following the plan.    

Cost/Price Plans

Customers have two options when it comes to using this company’s full meal plans at this time. The first is to simply pay month-to-month for as long as you choose to be a member, and this is priced at $39.99 per month. Customers who are ready to commit to a longer plan can also pay for this membership quarterly, or for three months at a time, which is priced at $99.00 even, for a discount of $20 off the monthly price.

Their website does say that they provide their customers with a full 30 days in which to try to their program for themselves and see whether or not it meets their needs, and if you are unhappy for any reason customers are welcome to contact their team by email and request a refund.

This website is not unfair in referring to Dr. Goglia as the “nutritionist to the stars.” A quick search shows that not only has he worked with a variety of celebrities and been considered an important staff member for many different movies, but he has also been featured on a selection of popular television shows like Dr. Oz. 

That being said, his book receives mixed reviews on Amazon.com, not because it doesn’t work but simply because this diet and exercise plan does require dedication, strict adherence, and determination. This makes it very effective for some people, but others simply don’t have the ability to follow a plan as strict as this one. 

If you are considering investing in this weight loss plan, you’ll have to take some time to understand how dedicated you are willing to be to a new daily diet plan, regardless of work, social engagements, and more. Simply having the plan and not following it exactly won’t result in weight loss.

I purchased a one year membership for their special pricing. This was not a plan that I could use, but I chalked it up to my own one year cost loss. Be aware this is a reoccurring subscription service! When I was alerted my card was charged a second time, within minutes I called customer service. They explained their policy is to notify a week before renewal - I never received any communication and was directed to refer to their terms listed on their website.

Well, despite in print the website stating "After 12 months you must reactivate your membership manually to continue." they continue to push my request for refund of charge aside even though I never had the opportunity to manually reactivate or agree to another year of service. Despite me pointing out that their own terms contradict what they are saying, the company completely disregards any type of rational customer service practices.

While the plan or service may work for you, their business is quite simply just out to get your money. You can purchase 1 month to 1 year, but that's not all, you also get constant emails requesting more money for more services. Please do not waste your money or your time on this.

Dishonest beyond belief

I thought I was giving a $17.56 donation to the staff because of Covid for a one week free trial. They charged my credit card for $149.00. I called and asked them to reverse the charge, they would not. They are dishonest beyond belief. I am disputing it with Amex. Do not give the company your credit card info. They will take advantage of you.

Could this be a good program? Maybe. I did lose 3 pounds in the first week, but because of the ZERO customer support I have to give it a poor rating. They do not answer messages ("live chat") via the app. which is stated they usually respond in less than 2 hours. It's been a week now. They do not answer their phone. After one week, they still have not approved my request to join the Facebook page that they state will provide me with Zoom calls and answer questions. I have questions! Due to this, I would never recommend this program.

I also feel I was scammed with the pricing. During check out process I was prompted to add the "2 week accelerator" for what I thought was an additional $10 dollars. So instead of the $40 initial charge I was being charged $50. NOPE. They charged the $50 in ADDITION to the $40. And I still have no idea what the 2 week accelerator is... because no one will answer questions. My advice is keep searching for a similar plan (if you like the idea of this) with more (any) support.

Scam! I can confirm all of the above!

My experience was very dissatisfying and I feel scammed.

1)After starting the program, I realized that the recipes they are offering are quite limited in nutrient choice and very repetitive. When I tried to adjust the food preferences to increase diversification, the app did not react at all. Same food, same receipts.

2) I tried to add my own ingredients (simple food) and most the app does not even recognize. Instead it offers products from processed food companies. Gives very much the impression of advertisement...

3) After 3 weeks I started to contact them via the chat function. As long as you ask money unrelated question, the robot is answering. As soon as you ask a concrete question regarding the subscription or terms for cancellation, the answers stop and you are completely (!!) ignored.

I then started calling the help desk number - nobody answering. I called 2 days in row until I decided to leave a message on the answering machine - it’s unfortunately for the bin... Nobody ever returned the call nor reacted in the chat.

Meanwhile they spam you with additional offering about extra services you could buy on top. All together very disappointing.

Lost 3 pounds in 7 days

I've been on the plan for a week and lost 3 pounds so far. I'm not hungry at all and I feel healthier than I have in a long time.

I did not receive my initial email so I called them left a message and someone called the the next day to resolve.

Too bad all the others have had issues. It seems like a great program to me so far.

My g-plans experience began wrongly and just didn't get far:

1) The day I subscribed, the payment page crashed at least 5 times, so at the end I actually gave up and thought the payment wasn't made. To my surprise, the payment had actually worked but I didn't get any CLEAR confirmation email (just a long email from some consultant about the results of my test). I noticed all this about 10 days after my try to subscribe, and had no log-in information!

2) I wrote an email then in order to clarify my subscription and the login-in data, but I didn't receive any answer for 20 days (except for an automatically generated email saying I should look in the website)

3) Without getting any answer, g-plans tried to automatically charge my credit card for the second month (without use for me!). Greatly I have a pre-paid card, which I used for that, and they couldn't charge anything. I wasn't expecting to make any payment under those conditions.

4) I finally called them and cancelled my subscription, getting no refund. A guy called Jordan helped me on the phone and even offered me to charge the 2nd month but get 1 month for free after that, which seemed kind of fair (he was patient and surely trying to be nice with a client --that is the reason for the extra star) but I didn't take this option. I explained to him that it is still unfair from them, because they knew -and surely could proof- I could not use my account!

So, perhaps it can work for some people, but I generally didn't get a feeling of trust and commitment for best service in this enterprise. Surely you can figure out how to lose weight yourself or with a nutritionist in your town.

They have poor customer service conditions. If you sign up for 30 days, you can get a refund. However, if you want to take advantage of additional products and extend the 30-day plan you don't qualify for a refund. That makes no sense: try us for 30 days and like us and pay more however if you sign up long term (by trusting us from the beginning) and don't like our product, sorry for you!

How does this foster customer loyalty?

You get customer support but all their responses are pre-scripted, and it doesn't address your actual complaint. The plan is very labour intensive (i.e six meals a day), and in some parts of the world, the foods they suggest is costly or not easily attainable. They have ingredient and meal swaps but honestly, it's just difficult and more time-consuming.

The cherry on top for me is that Dr Goglia sends you a video about how common medicines can ruin your weight loss journey, (it's just a ploy to get you to buy his probiotic capsules) however he is overweight in that video. When I raised this, the customer service representative Ashley says 'Dr Goglia has gone through a lot in his life, if you took the time to look him up, I bet you'd be amazed on what he has overcome. blue_heart'. Even the responses by the support team to the reviews on Trustpilot is a stock standard response. "We are sorry that YOU are feeling this way.' They take no responsibility.

The eating plan is nothing new, save yourself the money, time and frustration of their marketing gimmicks.

I had originally signed up for the $39 monthly plan. However, I noticed I was charged twice for two different amounts. One being $39 and the second $121. I had sent several messages to the online chat support with no return responses.

I called the number listed just a short while ago to explain the situation and ask for the refund that they say is guaranteed within the first 30 days. What a lie that is. They refused to issue a refund because of the “upgrade I opted for.” I didn’t opt for any upgrade. Every extra thing they tried to get you to add I checked no.

So now here I am out money that is not what I signed up for in the first place. They have flat out refused to issue a refund like they state prior to signing up. Be cautious if you opt to sign up. They are no help whatsoever. It’s more like a big scam in my opinion.

SCAM!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS! I bought this less than 48 hours ago and paid for the one year plan in full. I called today after my health care provider advised me not to use this plan as it was not a balanced sustainable plan for my needs.

I contacted customer service and said I wanted to refund my purchase and the rep told me I did not qualify since I bought the full year. This company does not stand behind the 30 day money back guarantee.

They prey on people desperate to lose weight and get healthy and even though my doctor advised me against this plan and it was purchased less than 48 hours ago they will not honor their word!

RUN, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Dr. Goglia is a medicine man selling snake oil! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

There is a lot of up-selling - it is very hard to get through the screens as they try again and again to sell you something. I thought the program was focused on helping people but when I tried to cancel I couldn't get through.

I eventually sent an email and didn't get a response. I finally got through and they said no refund. They should be shut down- it is an appalling business practice.

I saw this plan and thought, why not? I'll give it a try. It is nothing special, nothing different. Meals, advice, tips, etc. Anyway, I paid for the one month subscription. I did not sign up for more than that. But as the month came to an end, I re-looked at the plan and it looked like it would renew.

They state that they are open Monday -Saturday, 9-6, EST. I tried to call throughout the day Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. NO response. A recorded message.

I left messages as well as emailing. They charged me again. I disputed with my credit card company. They refunded, but then recharged as G plans said that I did not contact them. They make it next to impossible.

Obviously with such poor customer service, there is no real product to sell. No real advice . A load of crap from a company that takes your money for nothing!

Beware of this company they do NOT have your best interests at heart. I clicked to buy a special to read a book based on $17 offer, only to end up with an unwanted subscription that offered a few exercises and an option to look at 3x a meal throughout the day.

This was NOT what I signed up for, and I had no access to the very "bait" the books, I had given my credit card details to. You then of course get No one returning your emails, you have to cancel your CC to avoid them taking further unwanted payments of your card.

This is called a bait and switch scam. They bait you, don't specify what they are selling you, you have no access to cancel or remove your cc. This company has hundreds of complaints.
