Scam

September5, 2019

Prétend to be Google my Business. Charge à 1 Time fee of 99$ to reopen your account and etc. But when I received my email, it was a payment every month of 99$.

They are really well organized to let you think they are from Google!

I called my credit card 10 minutes after to block the transaction!

Claimed to be Google

August27, 2019

I signed up with GoMarketin after they called me and claimed to be Google advertising. I wasn't going to go with this advertising platform because I never give my credit card information over the phone. The only reason I did was because they said they were with Google and they sent me a Google verification code straight to my text. When I said I wasn't comfortable paying over the phone the man I was talking to panicked and set me to his superior, Nicole. That should have been my cue to hang up. Again, had they not fraudulently claimed to be Google I would not have made this purchase. First I was told I would be paying a one time fee of $99 USD for two years high quality SEO marketing (during the special promotional period). As pretty much all of our clients find us via search engine, Google views and reviews are very important to my business. One month later I see another charge for $99 USD so I contacted them by email and DEMANDED that I receive an email in response and not a phone call. In this email I was then told that the promotion is actually 2 payments of $99USD and that my card would not be charged again. As their accents are so thick I thought that this was user error on my own behalf and that I misheard them the first time. Now another month later I have received another charge for $99USD and have not received a single one of the promised services. The real Google actually contacted me to let me know that they have placed my Google listing under scrutiny as I seem to be receiving scam reviews and they are (for obvious reasons) not posting them. I am requesting a full refund of $297 USD from GoMarketin as they are a complete SCAM and are claiming to be Google when they are not. Hence why they only try to deal with you on the phone from blocked numbers and attempt to not put anything in writing. SHAME on this sham of a "company" for scamming small business owners out of their hard earned money.

small business owner in ST Thomas

December21, 2018

A salesman called me and made the impression they were from Google map. They told me my account with google map was not active and they would reactivate it. They also said it was a new service of google. The cost was $99 for the year which seemed high. They even sent me a verification code I was suspicious of them knowing that Google doesn't solicit business. The salesman was very good and moved me to another person to get my Credit card # which I foolishly gave. I then was passed on to a lady who said she was my account manager. She gave me her phone number if I had any questions. What I checked my emails I saw an invoice for $99 monthly charge not yearly and the letter head Gomarkein. I realized I had been scammed and call back and talked to Kimberly the account manager. I told her to cancel my subscription and informed her that they had misled me into thinking it was Google who called. We went around for awhile and I ended the call. I did receive a cancellation notice from them and will see if I will need to dispute it with my bank. If they call hang up!

FAKE

November18, 2018

they still have your credit card information,
after i cancel service. i ask for conformation # or email for cancellation they said " we do not have conformation #, all you have to do is wait 6-7 days"

and they charge $99 again for next month.

first they said $99 onetime charge for
"google map update, google review deletion access"

so fraud, so fake, so stupid,

call your bank and dispute charges, that's how i got my money back.

they called me and said

" we are experts from google small business "

please go jump on the bridge :)

Me Too

October11, 2018

Salesman promised me the moon, and for only a one time fee of $99 which was for a two year period. After a month of still getting cold calls from Google suppliers, I looked at what they had sent me--zero activity! It took 4 hours of calls, chat requests, and emails to get a human that barely spoke English to call me back. She said they would look into it. Later that night I got a bill for $99 for ONE MONTH of service. I promptly cancelled. GoMarketin did nothing for me! Google needs to get its act together on who represents them.

Small Business Owner

July23, 2016

After GODIGITAL sales people did a great job at selling the idea that paying them $750 monthly for 12 months will ensure that my business is found on Google and that my phone will ring more with new leads I must report that this was a royal waist of money.

They created a landing page for my business which was supposed to be optimized so my business is found quickly through google ads.. on the landing page they put a different phone number than the actual phone number of my business. This number was linked to my business actual phone number. They do this so they can track calls/leads and report success to me...the business owner/their customer.

The phone was ringing a lot, but with people asking for other business names (similar type of business than mine/my competitors)...these were customers from these other business wanting to set up appointment with them and not us.... I reported the issue several times, and the issue continued. at least 60% of the calls we got were people wanting to reach my competitors...basically I paid $750 monthly to increase my competitors businesses...

If you want to waist your money, hire GODIGITAL
