Getflix.com is a website and service designed to help people from “Australia, New Zealand, and all over the world” easily get access to video and music streaming services from around the globe.
How Does It Work?
According to their website, many people around the world are excluded from having access to certain movie and television streaming services simply because of where they live. The process of blocking internet access to certain websites and services based on your location is called geo-blocking.
Geo-blocking reads each user’s computer IP address to know which country and region the user is from, so Getflix.com helps people beat geo-blocking by re-routing certain connections through US servers. This creates a circumstance where the streaming services believe that the user is coming from an approved IP location, which opens up access to the service.
Once access to the streaming service is available, Getflix customers will be able to “watch the latest movies, TV series, children's shows and classic titles from multiple services including PCs, game consoles, mobile phones, tablets and more.”
Currently there are five different memberships for sale at Getflix.com, all of which include a fourteen day free trial, no credit card necessary at the time of signup, and a free virtual private network. Customers who are interested in paying on a month-to-month basis will be charged $3.95 per month. Customers who are willing to pay for multiple months in advance can choose between paying quarterly for $10.67, bi-annually for $18.96, annually for $33.18, and a two year subscription for $56.88.
As you can see, the longer subscription you are willing to pay for, the larger the discount you can expect to receive. In addition, customers who are interested in having more than one account will be eligible for an additional 25% discount, but you must call Customer Service directly when arranging this additional account in order to receive the discount.
This website is very clear that customers are welcome to cancel their subscriptions and service at any time, however this company will not provide any refunds for the unused time remaining on your subscription. Because of this, it may be best for customers to try out this service initially on a month-to-month basis and not extend their subscription further into the future until they know for sure that they are happy with their service.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by submitting them directly to their website through their Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.
First it’s important to discuss the legality of getting around geo-blocking, because geo-blocking does exist for a reason, though those reasons are often hotly debated. Some people believe that geo-blocking is an unfair form of internet censorship designed to make people in certain countries pay higher prices for services, while the companies themselves argue that geo-blocking is an important tool because of how licensing circumstances differ in certain countries.
That being said, the reviews for this service appear to be very positive, and some reviewers have pointed out that even though services that circumvent geo-blocking are controversial, the alternative for most people is to illegally pirate and download movies and television shows, which everyone agrees is worse than using an alternative IP address to subscribe to paid services with the content they want.

for me it is working over the expectations even when netflix started to block all proxies.
As I can use it to view much other content it was not a big deal for me.
Apart of the dns unlocking they offer free vpn and with highly recommended price.
Considering how hard netflix is cracking down on proxys, getflix often go offline for a couple of days when they get blocked then come back up again. As there subscription is counted by days, every time they go offline subscribers lose subscription days and money.
So I got fed up today as it stopped working again for me and asked for refund with the support team by sending them the receipts from Bluesnap, their payment processing company. The support team straight up denied that my payment was even made to them, even though the product name states "Getflix Subscription." They bill under the company SmartDNS.
I've submitted refund claims through bluesnap and got 1 month subscription refunded. Prior to that, my account had more than 40 days left, and now they blocked my account and have not refunded me for the remaining.
