GeekBuddy.com is a company who says their goal is to provide computer users with expert, friendly support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, for all of your common PC problems.
According to their website, GeekBuddy.com creators realized that existing live support options were too expensive for the average family, and also weren't equipped to help users prevent computer problems, so they created an alternative.
How Does It Work?
After signing up for their services, you will install a desktop icon to your computer and whenever you need support, you simply click this icon and will be immediately connected to one of their technicians through the Live Chat feature.
Technicians will connect to your computer remotely and fix the problem while you watch. GeekBuddy promises that they cannot - and would not - ever access your personal computer files.
The price for their basic package is $59.95, and includes tech support, virus removal, and Comodo Antivirus software. Their Pro package costs $69.95 and additionally includes Firewall protection and the Virus Free Guarantee. Finally, their Complete Package costs $99.95 and includes all of these things plus Wi-Fi data encryption and 50GB Online Storage.
GeekBuddy.com does not go into great detail about their Refund Policy, simply saying that customers who have issues or problems with the service within the first 30 days who wished to cancel their service and request a refund can do so by contacting them at [email protected]

I have had the service for 5 years now and they have saved my computer more than once. Yesterday, I had a tech work ALL NIGHT but he finally fixed my computer (would not open websites, virus got my Comodo Security software disabled, could not connect to websites, on and on) got all systems back running better than before. I live in a very rural area where there is no help, this service is the best. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Each time I would start a chat with them they required that I stay on while they took 45 to an hour, putting me on hold, indefinitely. At the end of the chat a sales pitch started in 100% of the cases, as though you hadn't bought the right tier program, I usually ended up cussing at them and did not renew at end of contract. Also, don't believe that you can cancel. I tried and tried and couldn't reach the correct mgr they said that I would have to talk to. I was locked in for 3 years and now I'm so paranoid I don't trust any service.
I used Geek Buddy in 2015 and 2016 with relative good satisfaction. They helped me. In 2017 after renewal, they promised to help me but the assistant after remote controlling simply ignored me and let me wait for a long time without even moving a mouse cursor. I lost patience. This is definitely a not good service for paying customers.
These guys are a scam! I have been using Comodo for several years and have really enjoyed the Comodo product, however, I'm not sure of their relationship with GeekBuddy but I must say I cannot stand GeekBuddy! Every time i call they spend more time trying to sell me something rather than fixing the problem! My subscription wasn't up for another 5 months and they kept trying to sell me on a renewal.. After the 5th time they tried to hard sell me to renew I told them they need to FIX THE PROBLEM and STOP trying to get me to renew!! Every time i call these guys I feel like i just invited in that relentless door to door sales person that won't leave until you either buy something or kick their arse out the door!!
It was simple curiosity that made me try out GeekBuddy; I am always open to trying out new things. Trying out new things always opens up new worlds for you; and I should say GeekBuddy has opened up a totally new world for me. Their experts have bridged gaps for me and made me no less that an expert. Any problem, they have been there for me 24×7 via live chat and also on phone. The dealings are really transparent and easy; the price is quite a bargain. So glad I tried it out...proud that I am always after new things...
So, I'll tell you how I've come across this company. I was purposely installing adware and spyware on a VM, and this thing called "GeekBuddy" had installed. There was some guy on the chat, named "Vance", that wanted to help me with my computer. I was running a fresh install of Windows XP and I had fake antivirus programs saying that I had a virus. They listed a phone number to call them. The guy on the chat, answered when I call them. He used his "GeekBuddy" client to allow remote access to my computer. The only thing he did really was show me the icons and things running in my taskbar, I mean... I could of done that. What makes this more of a scam is that the guy even said himself that he's a "Microsoft certified technician". He open up my browser and pasted a bunch of prices, he wanted me to buy some 3 year plan for $300 dollars. If you want to use them as repair service, DO NOT DO IT!
