About Furniture Fix

Furniture Fix is an "As Seen on TV" product that is sold at which promises to help customers breathe new life into old furniture by allowing you to fix sagging upholstery.

When you purchase a single set of Furniture Fix panels, you are given the option to get a second set for just an additional Processing and Handling charge. A single set is designed for a single arm chair, and two sets can fix a loveseat or two chairs.

How Does It Work?

Over time, the initial springs and other inner workings that support the cushions of armchairs, loveseats, and sofas can begin to break down, causing sagging and a sense of sinking and discomfort when you sit, even though the cushions and upholstery may be in fine condition.

The strong Furniture Fix panels can be adjusted to fit the area directly underneath the cushion and, using the wooden framework of the seat for support, will stop any sagging.

Cost/Price Plans

A single set of panels costs $14.99 plus a $7.95 Processing and Handling fee. A second set of panels is available for just a second Processing and Handling charge, and a "couch pouch" and four furniture movers will be included for free.

Refund Policy

They do have a Refund Policy mentioned on their website, but unfortunately it is just a line mentioning a 30 day return policy without many details, such as where to send the package if you want to return it.

Customer Service Contact Info

Customers who have questions, issues, or complaints can contact their Customer Service by phone at 800-648-8891, by email at [email protected], and by traditional mail at P.O. Box 3008, Wallingford, CT 06494.

Unfortunately Furniture Fix does not have the best reputation - many customers said the plastic panels were too bendable, cracked easily, slipped and slid, and generally did not do what they were supposed to. Most people said it was cheaper and better to purchase cut plywood at their local hardware store.

Is It Safe?

There were some complaints regarding people being cut by the metal connectors on the sides of the plastic panels as people tried to adjust the panel to their size needs. New customers should simply know to be careful.

Competitors and Alternatives?

Besides full fledged furniture repair companies and a piece of plywood from your local hardware store, as mentioned above, there are not many other furniture products made for this particular problem.
