How Does It Work?

The website says their equipment and system is incredibly simple to get up and running. All you have to do is plug in the camera and connect it to your home's Wi-Fi network. Create your Dropcam account and you can instantly being live streaming, or recording your home. Customers who choose to purchase their cloud storage feature can save up to 30 days worth of video.

In addition, customers can receive alerts for both motion and sounds in their home, as well as "drop in" and actually speak with both people and pets that are in your home.

Currently the Dropcam app is available for both iOS and Android devices.  

Cost/Price Plans

The regular Dropcam HD currently costs $149 and provides a 107 degree field of view and a 4x zoom, while the Dropcam Pro costs $199 and provides a 130 degree field of view - which they say is currently unmatched on the market - and an 8x zoom. Customers who are interested in the Cloud Recording option will have to pay additional fees based on the amount of storage they wish to have.

Refund Policy

The website promises all their customers a 30 day money back guarantee policy if you choose to return your purchase within the first 30 days. All they ask is that you first contact Customer Service in order to get instructions on a successful return.
