About Daymond John's Success Formula

Daymond John’s Success Formula, found online at DaymondJohnsSuccessFormula.com, is a free seminar which is dedicated to giving people an introduction to the successful business techniques of Daymond John.

How Does It Work?

According to their website, most people are familiar with Daymond John because of his role as a cast member and investor on NBC’s popular television show, Shark Tank. But before his appearance on that show, he was a pioneer entrepreneur, CEO, award-winning businessman, and founder of billion dollar company FUBU.

The goal of Daymond John’s Success Formula is to share with people John’s successful marketing strategies and his understanding of how people build successful brands, all free of charge.

During this short training seminar, customers will get instruction on topics like how to validate their new business concept, how to move more quickly towards a successful product launch, how to engage with their potential customers and transform them into buyers, and how to “have the right product at the right time.”

Cost/Price Plans

The Daymond John’s Success Formula seminar is completely free of charge at this time. This company wants to provide people with a free introduction to the strategies and methods that John uses which may benefit current business owners and aspiring business owners.

Their website does admit that they will have a variety of products available for sale at the seminar, but the purchase of these products and resources are not required for attendance at the event.

Refund Policy

Because this company does not actually sell their customers any products at this time, they also do not provide their customers with Refund Information. If you attend a free seminar and are considering purchasing some of their available products or the tickets they will be selling to paid events, it will be the responsibility of the customer at that time to speak to company representatives and see what kinds of Refund or Return Policies are in place.

Customer Service Contact Info

Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so through this company’s social media platforms, as it does not appear that they provide non-customers with their contact information at this time.

Reputation

There appears to be no customer reviews for this current seminar series and accompanying products at this time, but there are many reviews for Daymond John’s past seminars that he has hosted in previous years.

Unfortunately the reviews of previous seminars are not good. Many of the reviews say that 50% of the free seminar is dedicated to convincing people to attend paid seminars with Daymond John himself, and they quote these paid seminars to be $4,000 or more in price.

In addition, many reviewers said that they felt the few business techniques and strategies that were given to them in the free seminar were not anything new or different than they had heard before, making it seem as though the general consensus on these past seminars is that they were not worth customers’ time.

Since this is a new seminar series, it is difficult to say whether or not these problems will occur again. There is certainly a chance that Daymond John and his company have decided to take a different approach to their new seminar series, and since these seminars are free, customers who are interested in what this program has to offer are welcome to go and see for themselves.

Competitors and Alternatives?

Websites, books, podcasts, programs, and many other formats and mediums are dedicated to helping people improve their existing business, start a business they have always dreamed of, or take a moderately successful business to the next level. Customers who are looking for alternatives to this company will have no shortage of other options, and will be best served by finding options that work specifically to help people in their industry or with their specific needs.

scam $9000 and held me back

April18, 2019

Here is the email they wont respond to.
Hello Maddie,

Here we are more than a year later, and I would like to share my experience thus far with Daymond John success formula.

In the beginning, I had requested to be placed with someone who is experienced in bringing a new product to Market. I was told, I believe if I remember correctly, by you, "that did not matter, all of the coaches can help accomplish that". So, I was placed with Eric Lloyd. Eric is a fine person I am sure and successful in his own right with the things he is passionate about. What I experienced is as follows.

During the months he and I had sessions together, the tangible items that were procured where two hyperlinks to International Shipping Company's. A Google search. There were multiple sessions where Eric was working on something else while I was talking and even forgot who he was speaking to, calling me by the wrong name after getting his attention. I addressed the lack of initiative transparently to him letting him know that I was requesting a different coach, which he talked me out of doing at that time. I then had a cheerleader for a few sessions which was still completely unfruitful as motivation is not something that I lack.

So that was the point I came to you requesting a different coach. Again, I requested a coach who has actually brought a new products to Market. So I was placed with Randy Cochrane. Best I can tell, Randy is a real estate guy. I was just about to make a small bulk purchase to begin sales when Randy said, don't do that. He proceeded to say that what I needed to do at that point was a crowdfunding campaign. Okay, I accepted that and began to research and learn how to do that. This was going to require a team which I then assembled over the next couple of months and we began down the path of figuring out and learning how to do a crowdfunding campaign. That was a total Rabbit Trail distraction that required a lot more money even to make that happen.

Then during a session he said you need to go get pre-sales in order to acquire funding needed for the crowdfunding campaign. I began to get concerned though headed down that path. Then after a couple of sessions, he said you need to come to the event in Las Vegas with three weeks notice. That I had to put a pitch video together to see if I qualify to present my product to potential investors. This was too short of notice and not possible at the time. He said they were done quarterly so I was going to plan on being prepared for the next one. After the event, I got to hear about how great it was but now they weren't going to do another one until May of 2019.

Communicating this information to you was intentionally delayed so as not to be expressed through emotion.

The result is that the support provided is not at all what was sold in the seminar. I needed tangible technical strategy to move forward step by step. Motivation was never a need. I start my day at 2:30 every morning for the last 2 years to spend one hour to one and a half hours per day on this business prior to going to my job. I have made tremendous progress and close to launching but that has zero to do with support from Daymond John success formula. The factual effect that djsf has had on my business is approximately $9,000 of debt combined with time delay produced by the faith I put into trusting that the advice and support would eventually be effective.

I am confident that Daymond himself along with any prudent business person would not allow themselves to remain the victim of such a con job. I have every intention of recovering the est. $9,000. The purpose of this communication is to find out Daymond John success formula position in supporting or rejecting that based upon the facts.

Respectfully,

Marc K. Poehner

Bring an open mind because

Check it out but bring an open mind. It helped me understand that everything has a cost but it is important to look at your potential return on investment.

Very informative and inspiring! I only wish that my company could have afforded to hire their team. Nevertheless, I took valuable information away from it, as well as, practical ideas that I could Implement right away and that motivates me!

BUYER BE AWARE- Daymond John's Success Formula

February14, 2019

Just another marketing sales pitch! Here are the highlights:

1. They always Overbook: to make sure seats are filled they will over book and then turn people away when seats are full, even if you have registered. Registration means nothing.

2. Bad Customer Relations: After I explain to Rep I had registered online and my seat should have been reserved, with attitude she said first come first serve and your 20 mins late!

3. Daymond John Name: Of course, the sales seminar just uses Daymond John’s name, he’s not there.

4 Sales Pitch: Just another sales pitch to hype you up in the seminar, then try and sell you some stuff. What are they selling? More workshops and materials. How much? Up to $1500 plus.

I'm not surprised of my bad experience, if you look at all of the reviews they show how disappointed people are.
