About Date Agency is the online home of Date Agency, an online dating site which claims that it is free to join and will give users access to thousands of available people in their residential area.

When setting up your basic, free account all you need to do is provide the website with your active email address, a description of the type of person you would like to meet, and your residential location.

Once you have input your basic information, you will be taken to a page to set up your profile. On your profile, you place your likes, dislikes, and hobbies, as well as a photo of yourself.

Your free account will allow you to search “thousands of members” in your area. You will even be able to customize your search criteria to better ensure that you are able to find your perfect match.

However, you will need to upgrade to a paid, Premium membership if you would like to interact with other members, including sending or even receiving members. Upgrading to a paid membership also lets you add members to your “favorites” list, “wink” at people you are interested in, and block people who may be giving you unwanted attention.

A premium membership has different costs depending on how many months you would like to pay for in advance. A month-by-month membership costs $34.95 per month, but if you are willing to pay for 3 months at a time you will only pay $24.95 per month.

If you are willing to pay for 6 months at a time you will only pay $17.95 per month, and members who are willing to pay a full year’s membership fees up front at one time will only pay the equivalent of $8.33 per month.

Interestingly enough, these numbers are exactly the same, regardless of whether you are a member in the United States paying in dollars or a member of the United Kingdom paying in UK pounds.

Fantasy Cupids

January27, 2017

When I joined there was a lifetime membership option which I chose. It's been over 3 years since then so I don't remember the cost but I'm pretty certain it was less than $100. A lot has happened since I joined & it's been at least 6 months since I last logged on. Despite my lifetime membership my username and password are "no longer valid". Today (1-27-2017) I looked at the user terms & I noticed something that was not present when I joined. Fantasy Cupids. Fantasy Cupids (FCs) are "fictitious profiles the site uses to encourage use of the site & to inform users of the various aspects of the site." When I joined there was no mention of FCs but there were a bunch of profiles that just didn't seem right. In particular, profile pics of women who lived many miles apart but the background of their selfie profile pic had exactly the same cabinets, fridge or kitchen counter items. In reality these profiles are used to make you believe the site is overflowing with eager women hoping & praying someone like you will join the site. It's a con. I never communicated with anyone. That doesn't mean I never wrote to or was never written to. I mean none were real people. In conclusion, don't waste your time or money. Unless you really love wasting time & money.
