55 ‘CrowdTap’ Reviews

I just started a few weeks ago. In the first day I already had two $5 gift cards for Amazon and was working on my 3rd! As of now,I have used my Amazon money and received the merchandise I ordered! I've also gotten two more $5 gift cards and 2 samples. If you are willing to put in the time I feel like it's worth it. I sit around and do the surveys while I'm drinking my coffee in the afternoon. They are super simple and fast to do...no 20 questions, usually 1-4 and sometimes you post to social media. Easy peasy.

I love Crowdtap!! I've received $45 in total from gift cards and they have sent me 5 things to try out since I've joined 3 months ago. Yeah, you have to put some work in answering surveys and things of the same nature. But it's really easy, and honestly, totally worth it.

I've been a member since January, I received 2 gift cards for Amazon one for $30 and another for $10 for Jan, in February I received a $10 gift card for Amazon. I haven't received free stuff though. But I like it.

Most of the reviews have been from the older version of CrowdTap. Every month, they hold several drawings per brand. The more points you've earned that month, the more entries you have into the drawings. The more stars you earn and the more Top 100 rankings you have, the more likely you are to get freebies! I have gotten so many gift cards and free things from them it's not even funny! You do have to keep at it, but ultimately it's the luck of the draw so you can still get something even if you haven't been able to do much in a month. It's the perfect website to keep minimized at work if you're able to get online, since it doesn't require so much involvement that you can't pull yourself away or jump right back in. Also great for when you're bored. Don't be discouraged by the bad reviews; they changed for that very reason!

Ive been a member for about a year now! I love the new version of crowd tap! Ive won a couple gift cards and some awesome samplings! Its something you have to work at. Daily submissions and daily survey taking! The more you do, the better your chance is to win something!
I'm glad I found someone who loved it. I have been a member for about a month and I have been doing all the quick taps. When do they send you sampling requests? I've been going on everyday, I understand these things take time. Do I have to do any of the discussions or challenges at first? Or do I need to keep doing what I am doing to establish a higher level. I'm patient I just wish I could get an answer for someone other than be patient.
Chanel- I've been at it for just over 2 months and have won 3 gift cards. I've also gotten few samples from them. The samples are offered on the company's page. At the bottom, where they have text and photo challenges, they will also periodically post sampling challenges. You have to just be there at the right time.

I have been on Crowdtap for over a year and have never been able to redeem my points. They just changed it and now every month there is a drawing. It's a complete waste of time and energy. I have never been picked for anything and I am a regular. Just say no.
Same situation here. It got really bad.
Ive won a few gift cards as well as samplings. Its something you have to work at daily. The better the picture, caption the greater the points you get!

I have been a member of CrowdTap for 3 years now, doing the quick hits and trying to get into discussions, paties and samplings. I have only been selected to do one of their samplings in the past 3 years. Everyone who says that they get a phone and stuff all the time should consider themselves lucky. I fit right into the general target range for age groups and still never get picked. The majority of the people are like me and don't get anything. I have been saving for an Amazon gift card which is pretty much impossible to redeem even if you get the outrageous number of point they want. The rest of the store is 'gift cards' that are just like coupons and those haven't been restocked in a long time. I've had way better luck in the past 2 months with other companies than this one. Save your time and go elsewhere.

It's both very difficult to redeem your points for rewards and to earn enough points to redeem. As another commenter mentioned, you have to go to the crowdtap store at very specific times to be able to redeem anything, as they only restock gift cards at the first of every month. This last month, the restocked at noon and 8pm, and I got to the store 20 after noon and they were already sold out! And it sucks if you miss it because then you have to wait a whole other month. I've been a very active member of crowdtap for 4 months now and I just now got enough points for a $10 gift card--compared to good survey sites like SurveyU, where I just took one 30 minute survey and got the same reward. Plus, Crowdtap just more than doubled the points it takes to get a gift card without telling anyone--you just go to the store and you can no longer spend your hard-earned points because it costs twice as much! I'm very mad at crowdtap for its lack of communication with its members, its shady point-redemption practices, and its ridiculous requirements. As soon as I can get them to email me back and let me redeem my remaining points, I will no longer be a "tapper"

Crowdtap sucks and never has redeemable items. They should be shut down!!!!
Never? I've cashed out over $50 in Amazon gift cards and have gotten a free $600 smartphone, over $60 in Old Navy clothing and many other free things to try out. You have to REDEEM your points at the right time, otherwise the store is sold out! :)
Very few people are actually selected to do things. I've been 'offered' a party and fit the criteria but have never been chosen and I've been at this for 3 years. They also only seem to restock the Amazon gift cards and nothing else.

This shouldn't be listed under Careers & Employment since any income you receive will be in the form of gift cards.
I'm not saying it's a good or bad company. I haven't tried it. I've only read their terms of service.
