About Clair Skin
Clair Skin, found online at SkincareForYourSkin.com, is a new anti-aging skincare product which is being advertised by an article which claims that using this product can eliminate 90% of your wrinkles within just two weeks.
How Does It Work?
Clair Skin is being promoted by an advertorial, a website which has been made to look like a popular beauty blog, but is really just an advertisement that uses an embedded video of television’s Dr. Oz discussing skincare for the purposes of promoting this product to new customers.
The Clair Skin website says that their product has the ability to provide many different important effects with regular use, including eliminating the look of dark circles, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, enhancing skin hydration, and countering the effects of stress.
This product is able to be more effective than others, because it can deliver whole collagen molecules to the skin, and since it is “peptide rich,” it has the ability to effectively rebuild and rejuvenate the skin.
Ingredients and Side Effects
Though the website that advertises this product makes some claims about the ingredients included in Clair Skin, their own personal website makes no such attempt at explaining what ingredients they include.
This is a problem because it means that there is no way for prospective customers to evaluate this product for effectiveness before they purchase it, and there is no way to determine if this product has any ingredients that you may have known allergies, sensitivities, or known negative side effects to.
New customers can order this product by simply paying the price of Shipping and Handling in order to receive it for a trial period of 14 days. The Shipping and Handling price is somewhat unclear – their sales page says it is $2.95 but their Terms and Conditions quotes it as $4.95.
Customers who choose not to cancel will be charged the full purchase price of $89.31 at the end of the trial period, and every 30 days thereafter they will be charged $94.26 when their new supply ships. Customers who do not wish to incur these recurring charges must contact their Customer Service team and cancel at least one day before the end of the trial period.
Because this company has their customers order their product on an initial trial basis, there isn’t really an opportunity for a refund. Instead, customers are instructed to contact their Customer Service team one full day before the end of the 14 day trail, which begins on the date on which you place your order. This is an important detail, because most customers believe that their trial begins the day they receive their product, which isn’t true. If it takes ten days for your product to be delivered, you only have four days in which to try before you must cancel it or pay the full purchase price.
If customers are unable to successfully cancel during this trial period, they will be charged the full price of the product and there is likely to be no way to receive a refund at that time, though you are welcome to try and speak to Customer Service about potentially getting one.

Customers should know this company shows multiple signs of being an unethical, untrustworthy company. The first is that they are using a fake news site as a method of promoting their company, which is when a company designs an advertisement that is intended to look like a factual news article, and they are illegally using a celebrity’s likeness when they claim Dr. Oz has any affiliation with their product.
Another problem is that they force their customers into participating in a “trial period,” which automatically enrolls you into an autoship program where you will be charged nearly $100 every month until you are able to successfully cancel, and cancelling these types of orders isn’t always as easy as it should be. Customers should do whatever they can to avoid these types of unethical skincare companies and instead purchase products from trusted retailers.
Competitors and Alternatives?
Thankfully there are many well documented ingredients that have been proven to help people slow down or improve the traditional signs of aging, and there are many products in your local drugstore that include these ingredients. These products won’t cost hundreds of dollars, and they are likely to be covered by a respectable and trustworthy Return Policy.

Wow... so disappointed. I ordered Clair Skin Extra Firming Complex on May 28th, received it June 3rd, tried it for a week and my skin broke out in a rash. So, I called to cancel and get a refund. I literally thought because my credit card wasn't charged until May 31st I had until tomorrow to cancel, being 2 weeks tomorrow. I only had the skin care for literally over a week. Called the customer service and the folks were horrible. They talked down to me, kept saying I don't understand what you don't get, didn't you read the fine print before you ordered, absolutely not, no refunds, you don't buy a skin care product at Walmart and expect to be refunded, do you!? I asked to speak to a supervisor and he wasn't any better. Asked to speak to his supervisor and although a little more polished, still wouldn't give me a refund. Finally I'd reached totally frustration and he said he could only refund 50% , that's it! UGH! Never again!
I don't care if you like the product, there marketing is a scam! It's without ordering they send eye cream for 5.95 both products are samples. When you buy offer within 30 days they charge your credit card $90 for each product, no return or satisfaction. It makes you never want to shop on line!
Ridiculous customer service. Same as all other negative claims; ordered and cancelled but still got charged. How can the trial start before you even receive the product?! Also, the cream shipped with nothing else in the envelope. Why not put a shipping document with reminder about trial period? Rick at customer service told me that my claim was lost and now was under binding arbitration. I shop online alot and am very careful about terms so I never would have agreed to a trial without product.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! THIS IS A HUGE SCAM....THEY DO NOT CARE, THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOU ARE OUT THE PRODUCT IS A SCAM! REALLY WISHED I WOULD HAVE RESEARCHED THIS BETTER...THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN! IF YOU PULL UP THEIR DISCALIMER IN TINY LITTLE LETTERS...IT STATES YOU AGREE TO GET 3RD PARTY CALLS, THEY WILL SELL YOUR PHONE NUMBER! THIS WHOLE COMPANY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES! THE GOOD REVIEWS HAVE TO BE FAKE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOU CREDIT CARD! LESSON LEARNED...TRIED TO INTIMATE ME BY SAYING THE CALL WAS RECORDED...I TOLD HER I WAS GETTING MY RECORDER AND SHE SAID SHE DID NOT GIVE ME PERMISSION...I AM GOING TO POST THIS IN AS MANY PLACES AS I CAN...
Sally STAY CLEAR OF THIS OFFER!!!!SCAM!!!!!
This company are scam artist!!! When I called customer service to cancel, the guy told me it was no problem, and I would not get charged for the product. Well right on schedule here comes my credit card and the charge is there! When I called customer service back, she proceeded to tell me I was one day late to cancel and I told her I just had got it in the mail 4 days before now. She stayed I should have read the fine print because it states that you have 14 days to try it before you are charged that includes shipping and processing. I took me 7 days to get the product in the mail. So she wanted me to agree to a 35% discount if I agreed not to claim a dispute! Stay clear away from this offer it is not what it claims to be!!!!
