CityGo Urban Scooter Reviews
About CityGo Urban Scooter
The CityGo Urban Scooter is a crowdfunded product which promises to be a high quality scooter designed specifically for urban transportation.
How Does It Work?
According to their websites, most people understand that living in a city can be wonderful when it comes to such a variety of public transportation options, like bus and train. Unfortunately these wonderful transportation options don’t take you straight to your door, and often can leave people in a situation where they can be too far to walk, especially in inclement weather, but not so far you’d feel justified in taking a cab.
The CityGo Urban Scooter was created to fill this particular transportation void. To facilitate easily being taken onto your chosen mode of public transportation, the scooter is able to be folded and unfolded within just seven seconds and can come with an option bag to easily carry around with you.
Once it is open and being used, you will see that it functions somewhat differently than other scooters, as there is no throttle or activation button. Instead, users will be able to stand on the scooter and push off the ground with one leg to move the scooter and their motor will instantly amplify the power of your kick.
This Smart Kick System is the heart of this scooter. Once you kick off and go, the scooter uses smart sensors to process and calculate the condition of the road so that the motor will maintain a constant speed of travel. If you would like to move faster, just kick again, and to slow down, simply tap on the brake.
Currently the lowest available price for this product in their crowdfunding campaign is $599, though this price may change as these spots are sold and the campaign progresses. The full retail price of this product once it officially launches will be around $950, so customers will be receiving a significant discount by ordering during this time period. In addition, these products were scheduled to begin shipping in November of 2016, so hopefully customers will be able to quickly learn when the product they have ordered will arrive to them.
Unfortunately because this company is still in their crowdfunding stage they do not have a published Refund or Return Policy available for their customers at this time. If you are concerned about possibly needing a refund of the money you pay during this pre-order stage, or after your product arrives, you will need to contact their Customer Service team to see what policies may be in place.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by using the social media links this company has posted on their Indiegogo page.
Because this product is still in the crowdfunding stage, unfortunately there will not be any available customer reviews for this product at this time. And since this is a very expensive product that is offering a significant discount during the pre-order process, customers may find it worthwhile to contact their Customer Service team and find out what information is available for returns and refunds so they can choose whether or not to order this product at this time.
Competitors and Alternatives?
Certainly most people are aware that there are many different kinds of scooters and bicycles available for people who regularly get on and off public transportation and have been designed to be more easily compact than other similar items, so there are options for customers who are looking for alternatives to this product.
If you have any experience with this company or their products, please leave your CityGo Urban Scooter reviews below.
1 ‘CityGo Urban Scooter’ Review
There is still nothing to review for this scooter since it has still not materialized as of August 2017 after several delays and very sporadic updates to concerned backers. Many promised and requested refunds have still not materialized either. It looks like a great scooter and I was hoping to get one myself, but I don't think that is going to happen. Do not back this without checking comments on their Indiegogo crowdfunding page, in my opinion.
