About Chopra Meditation Center
The Chopra Center Meditation, found online at ChopraCenterMeditation.com, is the home of Oprah & Deepak’s 21 Day Meditation Experience, a new three week interactive meditation class.
How Does It Work?
Meditation is loosely defined as a series of techniques “designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy or life force” by Wikipedia, and meditation has been well researched at this time, and shown by a variety of different studies to benefit both emotional and physical health, as acknowledged by the Mayo Clinic and Harvard University.
To help the average, everyday man or woman learn how they can incorporate this important health benefit into their daily life, Oprah Winfrey and Deepak Chopra have joined together to create their 21 Day Meditation Experience through the Chopra Center Meditation.
According to their website, this program aims to give people useful meditation tools, training, and exercises which are accessible online, from any device, whenever you need or whenever you choose.
The meditation tools often have certain focuses they feature, like “Manifesting True Success,” “Finding Your Flow,” “Creating Abundance,” “Miraculous Relationships,” and much more.
Right now, the website does say that any of the products or courses that you purchase from their website will be accessible through mobile applications for either Android devices or iOS devices.
This website provides a wide range of tools within a range of options and prices. Some products are in the category of Download and On Demand, Bundled Items, CD Sets, Meditation Accessories, and more. Depending on what it is you choose to purchase, you will be able to find items at $29.99 and sometimes less, and prices climb all the way up to $239.99.
The website states that there is a 30 day, 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on all the 21-Day Meditation products. Customers who are unhappy for “any reason” are welcome to return their products within 30 days for a refund of the purchase price or an exchange.
Unfortunately there does not seem to be a list of full details for their Refund Policy, as there is a note about opened CDs only being eligible for an exchange if there is a product defect, but there are no real details about downloaded products, which often are not eligible for return, as it is very easy to illegally copy them once they’ve been downloaded.

Both Oprah Winfrey and Deepak Chopra tend to be controversial figures, as they are very well loved and respected by large numbers of people, with similarly equal large numbers of people believing that they are simply famous people attempting to make money on the strength of their popularity, without any real successful teaching ability.
That being said, there are a few reviews of this course in publications like Shape magazine and Psychology Today which describe this short course as a good way for people new to meditation to find a way to incorporate it into their daily routine and to begin seeing the benefits of meditation.
Competitors and Alternatives?
The reality is that meditation techniques are widely available online for free – there isn’t really a need to pay for them. That being said, people who are brand new to meditation and who are hoping to use meditation to achieve a better mindset for a specific goal, such as improving personal relationships or business and career decisions, may be interested in a specific training course.

I lost all my prior purchases with the new app (value: $249.95). Wholistic? No. They're common theives.
Some free 10 minute meditations but is a product meant to make money. The history of meditation is that it is given freely with a donation not a pricetag of over $400 to pay for the full Depok experience. I practice everyday but last I checked I still have cancer and all the positive thoughts and relaxation in the world is not going to stop me from dying. Please stop misleading people with your greed in selling the idea of unproven quantum physic ideas of self healing. It is a shame since Depok did take a vow to do no harm to patients with his degree. He should know better. Funny he doesn't live in his own country where his teachings haven't helped his own people. He can't sell his snake oil there. Of course common sense of reducing stress, eating right, and treating your fellow man well will help to some extent but will not change the fact that we will all suffer and die at some point. Depok and Oprah take full advantage of vulnerable people. Hope they sleep well at night in their mansions and excessive wealth.
