Choose Yourself Financial Reviews

About Choose Yourself Financial

Choose Yourself Financial, found online at, is the online home of the financial newsletters and services offered by James Altucher, a multimillionaire entrepreneur and hedge fund manager.

How Does It Work?

According to the website, James Altucher is a wealthy entrepreneur and investor who wants to share his experience and knowledge with people who simply don’t have the same means or resources as he does.

Currently this website shows that they offer six different newsletters, including: Altucher Alliance, The Altucher Report, Secret Income, Altucher's Crypto Trader, Top 1% Advisory, and Microcap X Advisory.

These newsletters all choose a different investment area as their focus. The Crypto Currency newsletter focuses on investments in different forms of digital currencies, while the Microcap X Advisory focuses on "small value stocks," which are those that generally trade under $5 or even $1 per share.

The 3-Minute Daily Trade promises readers a look at the market "through the eyes of a trained trader," and The Altucher Report discusses investment in new and different forms of employment where you "choose yourself." The Top 1% Advisory newsletter is described as "the culmination of more than 20 years’ experience on Wall Street," and the Secret Income offers investment information on "instant income opportunities."

Finally, The Altucher Alliance says that it is "the most exclusive and valuable membership" that James Altucher has to offer, because it provides its membership with every service that Altucher offers. This promise becomes even more impressive because the website says that this includes any future services that this company may offer as well.

Cost/Price Plans

Because these newsletters can all be subscribed to individually, customers will want to look at each individual newsletter page to see the most accurate pricing available for that newsletter. These prices will vary depending on whether or not a promotional offer is taking place, or depending on the length of the subscription you sign up for initially.

Refund Policy

Again, since this company offers a variety of products, there is not a single Refund Policy that covers everything. Instead, their website says that their billing and offer terms are outlined in the original order form you will fill out before you become a subscriber. These terms will also be provided in the confirmation email you are sent after you subscribe.

Their website also warns that many of their subscriptions are non-refundable, so they ask that you take care to read your policy before submitting your order.

Customer Service Contact Info

Customers who would like to contact their Customer Service team with questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by phone at 844-449-6520, by email at [email protected], or by submitting them directly to their website through the Contact Us link.

Unfortunately, despite James Altucher’s generally positive reputation within the financial community, it seems that Choose Yourself Financial and the Altucher newsletters they offer do not have the best reputation.

Specifically the issue is with their sales and billing practices. Customer complaints include issues with unexpectedly large bills or continuing to receive fees and charges after cancelling their subscription. People also complained that they continually received sales calls asking them to purchase additional newsletters or to make larger investments.

Prospective customers will want to consider these issues before subscribing to any of the offered newsletters.

Competitors and Alternatives?

Though this company offers a wide variety of financial newsletters, there are always other options and alternatives available to customers who interested in investment information and advice.
