About Caskers.com

There is nothing quite like the sharp bite of a refreshing glass of whiskey to take the edge off the day.

However, it can be tough to find new spirits that are out of the box. Walk into your local liquor store, and you’re probably going to see the same options lining these shelves, day after day.

If you’re ready to start enjoying some craft artisanal spirits - all shipped right to your door - it’s time you give Caskers.com a try. You might have some questions about this bourbon club, though, like “is Caskers.com legit?” and “how does Caskers work?”

Here’s what you need to know about one of the best whiskey club delivery services you’ll find.

How Does it Work?

This company is a whiskey delivery service that helps you uncover new crafts spirits that you won’t be able to find at your nearby liquor store. You’ll be able to taste some of the top artisanal spirits in the world, all of which are sourced from local produce and created by master distillers.

You can choose from a wide variety of products when you shop with Caskers. The company offers regular sales and featured promotions to help you make an educated decision about your next whiskey or another type of spirit.

Some popular options? Why not give Johnnie Walker Blue Label a try? You can also give Craigellachie 17-Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whiskey a go, too.

If whiskey’s not your thing, don’t worry. You can also purchase spirits like tequila, dry gin, vodka, rye, rum, and more.

Purchases can be made by the bottle, or you can join a “club.” There Is both an American Whiskey Club and a World of Whiskey Club. Join the American Whiskey Club and you’ll get two full-size bottles of homegrown whiskeys each month. You’ll get a custom tasting card with each spirit, giving you instructions on how to do the tasting.

Plus, when you sign up, you’ll never get repeat bottles in your shipments. You’ll be able to explore new varieties every three months. Plus, as a club member, you’ll get VIP access to some of the rarest bottles on the market. You’ll be able to uncover various gift guides and new arrivals from all around the world.

There is also a World of Whiskey club. With this club, you’ll get whiskies from all over the world, including Scotland, Ireland, and Japan. There Is also a gift option that will allow you to send your friends and family on a tasting from all around the world!

Cost and Price Plans

To join, you’ll pay absolutely nothing. Instead, you’ll pay either per club subscription or per bottle order. The American Whiskey Club is $146.99 for every three months while the World of Whiskey Club is just $166.99 for every three months. THe average bottle, if you prefer to pay by spirit, is around $58, but there are some as expensive as $8,500 and some as inexpensive as $14.99.

Competitors and Alternatives

This isn’t the only place you can find unique new spirits to help you unwind at the end of a long day. You can always head over to your local liquor store or warehouse, but if you want to order online, Flaviar is another excellent option.

Flaviar is a similar website in terms of its uniqueness and subscription options. However, when comparing Caskers vs. Flaviar, the thing to bear in mind is that you’ll get three vials of alcohol per tasting kit per quarter (so a bit less often than you would with Caskers). You can select your tasting kit from the large liquor selection, while Caskers will choose your samples for you.

Online Customer Reviews/Complaints

There are few complaints about Caskers, but one of the most commonly echoed sentiments is that it can be difficult to sign up if you live in certain areas.

For example, due to shipping restrictions and alcohol regulations, the company cannot ship delivers to Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

That list represents quite a few states where it’s impossible to sign up for a delivery. Plus, it’s important to keep in mind that an adult signature is required whenever a delivery is made, which can be inconvenient if you’re not home at the time of delivery.

Otherwise, reviews are positive. The average delivery time is short, taking ust one to ten business days, depending on your shipping address. You can occasionally find a free shipping code online, which can help you save money on repeat deliveries. They also have a generous return policy but it’s important to note that it can take up to a week to get a refund on your statement.

Customer Service

Need to take a break from your whiskey club delivery? Not a problem. You can opt out of  a shipment or you can even take a break from your membership if you go away on business. Otherwise, all memberships automatically renew each three months. You’ll stay stocked with whiskey as long as you’d like!

If you need to get in touch with customer service, you’ll have a couple of options. You can reach them by contacting the phone number - the customer service phone number is 929-399-6505. You can also email at [email protected] The company has a headquarters location in New York City and a B- rating with the BBB. In New York, the company is not necessarily a parent company but distributed by Andrews Wine Cellar or Gramercy Wine Country.

Where to Buy?

You can only sign up for this service by visiting the company’s website.

Is It Worth It?

If you love discovering new spirits and just can’t find what your taste buds are looking for in your local liquor store, it’s time you consider giving Caskers a try. This company offers some of the freshest new tastes in whiskey, vodka, rum, and more, and it’s a great way to discover new flavors - all without ever leaving your house.

very poor customer service

July8, 2020

Our order was not delivered. It appears that the courier driver may have stolen it. I called the courier several times and they just needed the shipper (Caskers) to call them to initiate the lost package process. Caskers emailed me to let me know they were working on it and it could take "up to a week". 6 days later I get an email "still no update". I called the courier to learn that the shipper had not even contacted them. I am very DISAPPOINTED with this spirits company.
