Cafe Cup Reviews
About Cafe Cup
The Café Cup is an “As Seen On TV” product which is intended to make any home coffee maker into a single cup coffee maker, with their reusable single serving coffee filter.
According to the Café Cup website, if you own a single serve coffee maker like Keurig and are using single serving coffees like Green Mountain Coffee, you are wasting money and producing waste that is bad for the environment.
Single coffee servings are packaged in plastic which goes into the garbage each time you make yourself or a friend a cup of coffee. The Café Cup is reusable and dishwasher safe, which they say makes it eco friendly, and is compatible with most Keurig single serve coffee makers.
In addition, purchasing coffee in bulk is far more inexpensive than what it costs to pay for the single serving coffee packages in bulk. They estimate that their product comes up to about 5 cents per cup of coffee, which means that if you drink two cups of coffee a day, you can save up to $450 a year.
The Café Cup costs $10.99 plus $6.99 Shipping & Handling and comes with two cups and a single serving scoop. You can get a second set for free plus an extra $6.99 for S&H.
If you are willing to pay an extra $9.99 per set, you can upgrade to the Deluxe Café Cups. The website says these cups have a special mesh that won’t transfer a metallic taste to your coffee the way many other reusable filters will.
The deluxe cups also come with a free replacement warranty which says that if your cup becomes damaged or broken within a 3 year window of purchase due to no fault of yours, they will replace it for free.
Customers with complaints regarding their Café Cup reusable single cup have up to 60 days to contact customer service and request a refund of the purchase price of their product, less the Shipping & Handling costs.

I am in love with it after one use only. Really recommended. Thumps up!
This is a SCAM. They charge more than they advertise. It takes 2 - 3 weeks to receive but you can't cancel your order the next day! DON'T BUT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!
First of all they say they cost 10.99 for two and if you order now you get 2 free. BULL! After shipping and handling your bill is close to $25.
The water comes out the sides of the cups and you coffee ends up tasting soooooo weak. I tried to send them back but the still charge you the $14 s&h fee.
The k cups at the store are over priced and usually out of stock. That is why I purchased the cafe cups. I wanted to be able to buy the coffee or cappuccino I like. The cafe cups work perfectly and are a cost saver. I have seen bad reviews on this product and do not understand why. Simply follow the directions with the cafe cup. Easy to use. The key is to not over fill the cafe cup.
Whether the product is viable or not is rather secondary to the Customer Service issues. To wit: website has no way for you to review your order before you accept terms (or are able to change or correct intended number of items in your cart).
Phone orders are given to non-human interactive robots, and there is no opportunity to speak to Customer Service Real People to verify your order. Credit card charged immediately, but no order confirmation is sent. There is no way to call the company to check on your order, they have no record of it.
They send you stuff you didn't order, and charge three times what the the TV commercial states.
Best thing to do if you find you've been overcharged, is to dispute it with your bank, who will do a chargeback for items not ordered (or for returned items not credited to your account). Best to wait for all Seen On TV items to show up at Walmart, as they seem to have the best return policy.
Plus, the cups don't work as advertised. Leak grounds, overflows, etc.
Worst of all, SCAM!
