Blue Emu Reviews
About Blue Emu
Blue Emu is a line of pain relief and joint relief products which are based on the medicinal and useful properties of pure, fully refined and certified emu oil.
According to the website, emu oil is a “powerful transdermal carrier,” which means that it is exceptionally efficient at penetrating the skin. This makes it a good vehicle for transporting medicinal ingredients beneath your skin to effectively impart relief benefits.
In addition to its effectiveness as a transporter for other ingredients, emu oil is also described as having a wide variety of positive effects on its own. These sited effects include anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, healing, and moisturizing properties.
Emu oil also is known to have a wide variety of fatty acids, which are beneficial for a wide variety of reasons, but when it comes to pain and joint relief the most important benefits are that these fatty acids help your body repair itself.
While there are other product lines that use emu oil for its benefits, Blue Emu stresses the importance of the quality of their oil – that it has been properly processed and certified to meet the highest quality standards used by the industry. If you use emu oil that hasn’t been fully refined and processed, you could risk using contaminated oil.
Many people may worry about using emu oil and whether or not they may have an adverse reaction to using a new, topical animal based product, but Blue Emu promises that pure, refined emu oil has been proven to be hypoallergenic and not have any negative side effects.
Their products range from a basic lip balm to a sports rub, a foot rub, a variety of pain relieving oils and ointments, and the products will vary in price depending on product size and the retailer from which you purchase it. Retailers which carry this brand include Walmart, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Kroger, and more.

As a martial artist / bodybuilder I love the product - but nowhere on planet earth is a NOW TINY TUB of Blue Emu worth $19.99 and in fact when it was $15.99 on sale it was still a rip-off because the bottom was a half inch of empty space found out when I dropped the tub on a hard surface. Now the tub is so tiny you almost pass right by it it’s so small yet the price has gone up???
The only semi worthwhile price and quantity (I haven't checked since September 2019),is Walmart large size tub. At least as far as I can tell the bottom is the bottom of the actual container of product, not a fake bottom with empty space. Other than these customer cheating tactics, the product works great on joint pain and muscle aches and no odor, but I still say nowhere near a good value at anywhere buy Walmart at the large tub size only due to the cost per quantity. TOO damned expensive period! That's why Walgreens and any other expensive store always has it because it doesn't sell at these ridiculous prices. Quit cheating people!
Blue Emu works instantly on my back pain! Can this be true or am I crazy? I've tried it several times and it really works!!
No two people are the same, therefore not everyone will respond to medicine of any kind in the same exact way. Even pain pills don't help all people the same way.But for me and my family and friends blue Emu has been wonderful. We saw the best results when it was used on joints that had inflammation, knees, hands, ankles. Not all pain is caused by inflammation. So, no it doesn't fix everything but for us any pain associated with inflammation it decreased the pain significantly if not completely. It actually decreased swelling in my knuckles that I could see, now my pain is caused by an autoimmune disorder which causes inflammation. My mother has arthritis. I recommend it to my friends all the time.
I purchased some for my husband to see if it would help with the itching and pain left on his arm from shingles.
It has been 4 years since he had the active shingles. He is left with the nerve pain and itching. I bought a small jar of the original crème. It has helped him more than anything the Dr. has given him. He would not be without it now.
I had a toenail fungus, that I got from a pedicure as a gift several years ago. I have tried everything, Dr. medicines, over the counter etc. About 3 wks ago I thought I might give the Blue Emu crème a try on my toenail. Within the first 2 days the toenail color where the yellow color was looked normal again and the brittleness has gone away. It is back to normal now. I still put a little on it every now and then. I could not believe that this crème cured my toe. I am very happy about that.! We both love it!!
didn't seem to work very well at all, bengay was better and cheaper I thought.
The directions say apply three times a day for 2 - 3 weeks by that time your pain would have subsided anyway. They sure advertised the stuff to death guess I fell for it wont be buying anymore.
