Bitrix24, found online at Bitrix24.com, is a company who says their goal is provide companies and business with a complete suite of tools that will help your team with social collaboration, communication, and management.
How Does It Work?
According to their website, all companies can benefit from having an intranet system, which is a private internal computer network that is accessible only by approved members of the company. Not all companies have the ability to create this system on their own, so Bitrix24 offers to provide an intranet system for them.
The Bitrix24 intranet system will allow companies to easily delegate tasks and coordinate team member efforts, provide them security for their online documents with the ability for multi-user editing, custom document approval, and more, as well as the ability to conveniently share files, folders, and data with co-workers.
This company’s system also offers a variety of options for communication with your co-workers and management, including an in-house email system, the ability to video-conference or group chat with multiple people, and they have an option they call “Telephony,” which allows you to make one-click phone calls from a single portal, and all calls will automatically be logged in your built-in CRM program.
The Bitrix24 intranet will also work on employees’ iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, so that they are always reachable and will always be up to date on any new developments.
There are two different versions of Bitrix24, the Cloud Version and those that are Self Hosted. The Cloud Version offers a Free plan, which includes the ability to connect up to 12 employees with 5 GB of storage.
The Standard plan is priced at $99 per month and gives companies the ability to connect an unlimited number of employees with 100 GB of storage, and the Professional plan is priced at $199 per month, with unlimited employee connection and unlimited storage. All of their Cloud Storage plans include the option of their Telephony feature, with various rates.
The Self Hosted Version is described as being for companies for whom the Cloud Version simply isn't enough. Each plan comes with a 30 day free trial, and has a one-time fee with no recurring fees unless you choose features that are paid for on a monthly or usage basis.
The first Self Hosted package is the BizPace, which is priced at $3,299 and connects up to 25 intranet users with a $40 fee for each additional user, though external users can join for free. The second package is the BizPace Enterprise, which is priced at $9,990 and offers everything in the original BizPace package, as well as the ability to create Web Clusters and to arrange Multiple Divisions.
Since their monthly cloud service is contracted on a month-to-month basis, customers who sign up for that service should know that their fees will all be considered non-refundable. Even if customers cancel before their subscription is up, they will allow you to continue your use of the services for the rest of the month, but no refunds of fees will be provided.
Unfortunately the website does not provide any information about refunds for their Self Hosted plans, so concerned business owners may want to check with a Bitrix24 representative about potential refunds if they choose to purchase one of those options.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact their Customer Service team with questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by phone at 703-740-8301, by email at [email protected], or by submitting them directly to their website.
In general it appears that people are very happy with the services and abilities offered to them and their companies by Bitrix24, but there are a few complaints that appear to be repeated more than once.
Probably the most common complaint is that learning all the features of the new system is a little complicated, and the tutorial they offer doesn’t really cover all the things employees need or want to know in a simple and direct manner, making the transition process a little longer than some people believe it should be.
That being said, it is important to note that even the reviews in which users pointed that out as a negative aspect were still generally positive reviews.
Competitors and Alternatives?
There are many different websites that offer companies and businesses the ability to create intranet systems or other cloud based collaboration systems for their optimal work environment and efficiency, including Flatsies, Lucidchart, MindMeister, XMind, and many others.
