Atom Tickets, found online at AtomTickets.com, is a new service which describes itself as “movie going for the 21st Century,” and promises people quick and easy movie planning convenience from anywhere.
How Does It Work?
According to their website, the goal of Atom Tickets was to simplify everything from finding the movie you want to see, to coordinating with your friends, to buying concessions.
Customers can use the Atom App or their website to browse local theaters and movie show times and once they’ve found a movie they want to see, they can purchase their ticket right then. Your movie ticket will then be sent to you as a QR code which can be shown when you enter the theater.
If you want, you can use the app to invite friends to come with you to the movie, even if they don’t have the app. If they choose to join you, they can use their own app or website to purchase their tickets, so friends don’t have to worry about owing each other money.
Certain theaters have partnered with Atom Tickets to also provide customers with the ability to purchase concessions in advance. If you pre-order your concessions, there is no need to wait in line at the theater; you can simply go to the counter, scan your ticket, and then collect your food and drinks.
It appears that this application is currently available for both iOS and Android platforms, but people without those mobile platforms still have the option to use their website if they choose.
The app is free to download and to use; they do not charge people fees to become a member of their service. It is unclear whether or not there is a slight upcharge built into the prices for things like their concessions or whether all their prices are the same as what you would pay for in the theater and this mobile app is paid for in other ways.
Their website does say that you can cancel your ticket order and receive a refund up to 30 minutes before show time from their mobile app or from their website, and the charges will be refunded to your credit or debit card within three to five business days after your cancellation.
If the show has already started when you need to cancel your order, they do ask that you contact a theater manager or the Atom Customer Support for assistance. They will send you a cancellation message to the email address or phone number on your account.

@Atom do not respect the promotion they offer . Do not buy movie tickets from them use @fandango or other movie site ..
This is a summary of my first experience trying to use this service: Upon downloading this app, I received an email about a week after stating that I would receive $5 off my first movie ticket purchase thru Atom app ( I got it on 7/26/18), today is 7/27/18. I went on the app about 4 pm to purchase a ticket for tonight and when I put in the promo code it stated that it was expired and could not be used, when I looked at the terms and conditions they said the code was good 7/26-7/29/18 so I called the customer service number. I was on hold for an hour and a half (I figured I wasn't the only one having problems with the code), when someone did answer he told me that the code I was sent the day before had been exhausted and I should have used it as soon as I got it. I asked him "so what does that mean for me?" and he said I am unable to use it now because it has been exhausted. The company sent codes to all of us and should expect that we will use them, I don't understand that principle I was told. I will not be using this service because I was lied to.
