Acteon Compression Packing Cubes Reviews
About Acteon Compression Packing Cubes
The Acteon Compression Packing Cubes is a new product being crowdfunding on Kickstarter.com that promises to give people a way to save space and keep their clothing organized while traveling.
How Does It Work?
According to their website, the Acteon Compression Packing Cubes are a new travel product which says that most travelers know that luggage space is always at a premium and no traveler likes to be stressed out about space while they are traveling.
The Acteon Cubes save travelers space by having them pack their clothing into a compression cube before it is placed into their suitcase. At the beginning of the trip, all clothing will be placed on the “Clean” side of the cube and zipped inside, saving up to 55% more space than simply placing clothes into a suitcase.
As you go through your trip and clothing becomes dirty, you can place all soiled clothes into the “Dirty” side of the cube, keeping them separate from your remaining clean clothing while still retaining the compression capabilities of the cube and saving space. Their website says that in addition to saving you space while you are traveling, this also greatly simplifies the unpacking process.
Unfortunately this product is not yet available for sale on the open market at this time, as they are still in process of crowdfunding on their Kickstarter page. Their crowdfunding page says that people are able to purchase the Super Early Bird Single Set which includes one Large Packing Cube and one Small Packing Cube for $29 if you purchase during the campaign. Though this campaign page does not clearly publish the full estimated retail price of this camera, the assumption is that customers who participate in crowdfunding will receive a discount.
According to their crowdfunding page, it seems as though this product will begin being shipped to crowdfunding donators during June of 2017, though these dates may change in the future.
Because this product is not yet actually being sold on the open market, they also do not appear to have any kind of published Refund Policy available for their customers at this time. Hopefully once their product actually begins being delivered to customers that participated in their crowdfunding campaign in the Summer of 2017, they will begin publishing these important policies, but until then customers will need to contact their Customer Service team with any questions they have regarding refunds.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by submitting them directly to them by using the Ask A Question link at the bottom of the Kickstarter page.
Because this company has not actually yet made this product available on the open market, there is no way to know how well it will fulfill all of the promises it has made to its consumers, but if it works as it is advertised it may be a very helpful tool for travelers.
Competitors and Alternatives?
There are many different types of products that promise to help customers with their traveling needs, even when it comes to trying to maximize space in your luggage and properly separate your clothing, so customers who are hoping to find alternatives to the Acteon products should be able to find other options which may meet their needs.

I can't give this a zero. Ripped the seam on the large one the first use. Thought it was my fault for stuffing it too full, but both packs the fabric has frayed & pulled through the seam. And now after less than a year of use, the seam holding the zipper has given and the zipper pulled off the end.
No way to contact them for returns/repairs/complaints.
In theory, this sounded like a great product, and one that I really wanted to like. However, after using it twice, the compression cube tore at the seams along the zipper. I followed the recommended amount of clothing as indicated in the kickstarter campaign video. Acteon needs to re-think the quality of the material because the product is failing at its most basic premise at this moment.
Took it on a first trip to Seattle - I was very happy with packing, and I liked separate dirty clothes storage. Got home, unzipped, internal seam is ripped.
I packed no more than the videos they show in the Indiegogo campaign.
