World Market Systems
is an online company that sells internet
business packages which include websites,
traffic, and advertising. They make
impressive income claims and promises of a
hands of automated income stream...the
question is at $150 - $4,000 are their
services worth the price tag?
Companies like World Market Systems are a
dime a dozen, they all prey on inexperienced
home business seekers and up-sell them at
every corner. Not only do they
overcharge for the basics like a website and
hosting but they also convince their
customers to buy additional features that
will have no affect on profits.
What they do is set you up with a cookie
cutter website that they sell to all their
customers, the only difference being a
slight name variation. They then
convince you to spend up to $4,000 on things
like search engine placement, paid
advertising, email campaigns, affiliate
partners, link building.
These are all elements of a successful
online business; however they must be
implemented on a personal needs basis and
when done properly should cost a fraction of
what World Market Systems charges.
Furthermore, a lot of the promises that
they make they simply can not deliver.
It takes time to build a successful online
business and there are no get rich quick
shortcuts. You can't trick the search
engines into ranking your site and you won't
make sales from their email generated
traffic.
You need to build your business from the
ground up creating a strong customer base
along the way. It's critical for you
to learn all these techniques on your own so
that you won't be at the mercy of companies
like World Market Systems.
I think that having to pay thousands of
dollars for an online business is excessive. There are
tons of services, e-books, and video
tutorials that will provide you with
detailed and thorough instructions at little
to no cost.
The program that I used for internet
marketing training came with a plethora of
information. I received lessons on how
to make money using: Google AdWords, Google
AdSense, Affiliate Marketing, Article
Marketing, Niche Marketing, Blogging, Keyword Research,
Search Engine Optimization, Advanced
Marketing Strategies, and Much More.
The best part is that this program comes
with a network of 15 ready-to-go websites
that you can use to implement all these
concepts. All-in-all, I've learned how
to make a living from internet marketing for
under a hundred bucks, if you're interested
in learning more you should Check It Out
Here.
Best of Luck,
Steve Albright

I got sucked in last night BEFORE checking into it! Stupid! I stumbled upon this site and immediately called their customer service line to demand a refund. The lady who answered was very nice and said someone would call be back after lunch, but no one did. I just called again and spoke to "Wally." I made it very clear to him that I was not interested and that I wanted my refund PERIOD. After trying a few rebuttals (phone sales people are trained to have a comeback for everything you say) he gave up and said that the refund will take 10 business days to process. I asked for clarification and Wally assured me that there would be a credit on my Visa account within the next 10 business days. I will keep you posted!

I rang up this morning and asked for a refund, well you should of heard the tone change in this mans voice, then when i said i hadnt received what i have paid for he said "is your email address bla bla bla" and he had changed one of the letters when i said no(which he knew i would say) he said that there has been a mistake and that would be easily fixed and i said no i want a refund,he continued to argue with me and went on saying dont i want to make money bla bla bla and i kept cutting him off demanding a refund and the end result is he said someone will call me in next few days regarding refund.my credit card company said i need to sent them a email which i have tried to and i have until 90 days to dispute it.i bet that is why they say their 90 day thing about a refund cause they know you cant do anything after that.
To all of you that say it is a wonderful program, well lucky for you,but for me after reading so much negative informatiion and given the excuses they have i think i will ... read more»

A few days before the call from Karl Carter, I received an email from "Jenny" from "World Systems". While listening to the audio tape from Karl, I looked in my email to find anything from World Marketing Systems. I tried to reply to Jenny. The email was invalid. I noticed the variation of the business name and my suspicions were confirmed. I told Karl I was not interested in his "sales proposition". He laughed.
Those people have no conscious. How sad.

I have been with World Market Systems since mid February, 2008 and have no complaints. When I first joined up I earned over $400.00 in commissions and have been credited on the first of every month since with more commissions.
Think about this for a moment, would trusted stores on the internet such as Travelocity, Sony, E-bay, Amazon, Target Stores etc. associate themselves with a company that had the reputation as a Scam Merchant. I doubt it!
I would rather have charismatic people working for me who can close a deal as this means more money for me - I am being paid on the first of every month, this business does not work by itself you have to put some effort into it.
To all of you who have complained about this company, are you so sure that they are dishonest. Then please explain why some people are earning commissions every month. WMS Inform me by e-mail on the first of every month followed by an e-mail from Pay Pal to tell me that they have received money from World Market ... read more»

Dreadful doesn't even begin to describe this scam well enough. Thank goodness I didn't have any credit available on my credit card or I too would have been a victim of this company. Affiliates indeed - we are affiliates to filling their bank accounts. I too was contact by Lenny Pinkowski today - OMG their audio tape didn't even work - he rang me 3 times before he finally decided to just tell me about the program. Alarm bells were ringing, but I thought it sounded good. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is - truer words were never spoken. I hope Karma bites them in the butt. Fortunately this little life lesson cost me nothing but time and mild embarrassment at my own gullibility. Lesson learnt - if these people phone you - HANG UP QUICKLY.

OMG i fell for it too. I have been sick all week and not in the best frame of mind. I filled in a form for more info on home based business i received an email which i didnt respond to and then lots of phone calls today. I dont normally respond to phone call sales and wanted time to think but Scotty was so pushy and because what he was talking about made sense and because im a single stay at home mum with a baby with special needs any additional income is appreciated. So I fell for the $149 start up cost, got the platinum system at $477 and agread to $480 worth of marketing (originally it was to be $1000 worth of marketing the guy reduced it for me when i said i couldnt affort that)... all onto my credit card.. guess what no email showing me my website or welcoming me, i googled when i was starting to panic as i had a sick feeling it was a scam..im normally so good at checking things out on google but just wasnt in the right head space, also the guarantee made me feel that if it didnt ... read more»

Thank heavens I decided to look them up and came upon this site. I have had pretty much the same experience as anyone else in this deal. Contacted by someone named Fran, wo seems too sugary sweet. I try and stay away from such people. And my god are they pushy!!!! They just kept on coming back to the same question over and over again, "so which plan are you ready to take on? Silver, gold or platinum?" All I can say is thank God I decided to do some background search before committing to them.....

I'm a single father of 2 and care for my disabled father.Thismorning I got a call from deidre trying to sell me this crap.Started listening to the audio then it stopped so I hung up.Within 5 minutes she called back.I listened to the audio and after it finished I asked if it was really that easy,There was a pause for about 5 seconds then a male got on the phone. He told me about the packages etc and wanted my credit card details.I told him I don't have the money on my card as yet and I wanted to think about it.You could tell in his voice he wasn't too happy! He asked how much I had on it.I told him I had nothing at all on it,he just wanted my cc details one way or another! And every time I asked a question there was always a pause, they had to think of something to say!My first instinct was not to go for it anyway, too good to be true!I googled them and I found myself here thank god. There are too many out there like this and it's just wrong.

I've been caught off-guard by World Marketing Systems too mid-July 08. The Rep. was Jim,
he pressured me, as many of you said in your comments to sign-up. I am retired with time on my hands and felt like doing something from home for a little extra money for few treats now and again.
Well this afternoon I've had a call from a guy
called Cendric St Claire and I was pressured again to spend another $1725.00 for the "Ultimate Plan" and asked for my CC details. I flatly refused, he then hung up on me in anger. I immediately called my bank and cancelled my Credit Card. My loss is $4oo.oo I've paid for the
Platinum Plan. These people are the biggest ROGUES GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jim has been ringing me constantly. He finally got hold of me. The deal sounded too good to be true (with a 90 day money back guarantee!!) so we checked World Market Systems out. I can't believe I fell for this and was sucked in. I was suspicious when I didn't receive an email from them within the hour and when I looked up their website there was no 'contact us' details anywhere on their site. Then I googled and found this site and all the comments. I immediately rang up and stopped my cc. I will very definitely be ALOT more careful in future and fully check out any company before making any commitments to 'join up'. Feeling VERY FOOLISH - but not alone. I agree they should be stopped and people should be warned against them and other companies like them.

Interesting, Warren spoke to me today...I was just about to give him my cc for $900 but had this inner voice stopping me - probably because I was running late for 2 appointments! I have already outlayed $100 for a silver starter package...has anyone any idea of how I can get it back, if at all? Warren also put a lot of pressure on me when I said I wanted to talk to my husband about it. Wow! That was a close shave! Beware all you would be worldmarkets!

I was originally led to believe that all I would have to do is put in one hour a day on this - didn't know it was designing ads - which is not my talent. The coach called - he was talking pig latin - might as well be - because I didn't understand anything. He said they would call back in 10 days to see how I was doing. Later found out they were scams and would keep billing you for thousands of dollars! I'm now waiting to see if I can cancel and if I get my money back!

Seems like Australia has been a major target for this company. They called me today , a Michael Schneider, a familiar patter to those expressed in the posts.I decided to do some research, I looked at the mirror site he suggested, then googled the name and here I am.Thankyou for the confirmation of my gut feelings.Hope those that did get caught can get some redress. Here in Australia anyone with a slick American accent trying to sell you something immediately raises alarm bells. My rule is always to see some hard copy of a proposal not respond to something over the phone.

Ten minutes later I get a call from the supposed big cheese of the company talking as if I haven't actually spoken to anyone - trying to sell me all over again. My wife signed up to learn about a "make money from home" opportunity, and received an email stating she could call a toll-free number to hear a recorded message. Instead a live person named Allen answered and insisted he needed to talk to both of us. (The dishonest email immediately sent up a red flag.) He called back an hour later when I was available, and began to talk about various "packages" for sale.
Since I am no stranger to affiliate marketing, I began to ask him about some basic issues, like advertising costs, commissions, pull-through rates, whether they provide SEO or guarantee targeted search relevance to keep CPC down. He began to sound nervous, and simply kept repeating what he already told me, asking three times "so which option works best for you?"
When I explained that I wanted to do my due diligence to check out their company before I made a decision, and promised to call him back tomorrow, he got very angry and confrontational with me. Allen then proclaime... read more»

OMG!!! I wanted extra money for buying a house and the extras like vacations. I fell bad. First was the $188.00 package then $19.95 for web hosting. Then I get the call for advertising $1795 later and I've earned $20.19. Got a call last night wanting another $1725 minimum for additional web site and more services. This guy Ralph was so bad he was almost begging me to subscribe then. Told him I couldn't, I needed to move money around. I've had this site for four weeks and nothing. I was recently contacted by World Market System, listened to there audio presentation, and asked if I was willing to commit to there program. I kept thinking to myself "This is a to-good-to-be-true, easy-money business. So why isn't everybody doing it?" Anybody can set up a website, so why pay someone else to do it? Once I learned that my "coaches" would set up more and more mass emails, ads the more $$$ I forked over it was pretty obvious that I was not receiving any tangible "goods or service." If I couldn't contact any of these people myself, how can I trust that someone 1K miles from me was going to do the job after I handed them the $$$! Big time scam! Don't do it! Read everybodies reviews, there isn't a positive comment in the group, they're a big rip-off!

Gosh this is the first time that i've thought to google World Market Systems. I've been trying to make money on the web for weeks and in my first week, I clicked on their promo sales page and made the mistake of listening to the audio, etc. And I signed up - and I let them talk me into another $500 because of their promise to do mass emailings, etc. They even told me I didn't have to do any advertising myself - that with this package they do everything and I make $300 everytime someone joins. Well guess how many $300 cheques I've received so far. Zilch. You know the saying "if something seems too good to be true, it probably is". Well here is a good example. Lesson learned - an expensive lesson. All I needed was 3 people to join and I would have at least got my investment back. I don't even want anyone to join now and get suckered in like I did. I don't want to make money by someone else getting hurt. Like I say, lesson learned.

I'VE JUST BEEN SCAMMED BY THE MUNGRALS. Here I thought I would help contibute as I'm a stay at home mum looking for extra cash to stay at home with the kids. I just paid $200 Aus thinking this would be a great oppurtunity. I then saw this website. HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK. I rang them back as soon as I saw these reviews but of course NO ANSWER. I am furious and upset to think I let myself get sucked in. They were so pushy I wanted to waite to speak to my husband but they really conned me into trusting them so I let my shield down. IDIOT!!!!! I just thank god I can tell the coaching officer to go and f*ck himself when and if they ring. What a Mob of ARSEHOLES.

If Karen from Winnipeg Manitoba reads this, I'd love to know how you got your money back, I guess we all would. Any advice.

First, I'm glad I'm not alone in being scammed by these clowns. I've been feeling that this wasn't a good idea and now I know.Thank goodness I'm not in as deep as one lady on this forum.I was thinking of calling them and asking for my money back, now I definitely will, and call my CC company to see what they can do. As for what we can do, maybe we could all chip in and have their offices wiped out and all them with it. Note to FBI, just joking guys !!!
Thanks Steve for providing this opportunity to vent.

Well, Today I talked to a rep from this exact company and I was very excited!! Warren tried to get me to pay on the spot using my husbands pay pal account but I told him I'd call him on Monday so that I can go for the $316 dollar package. WOW!! I'm very lucky - Thank you for publishing your experiences. You just saved me and my 4 children and husband a whole lot of problems and money. Money that we need more than these people. Every action has an equal and opposite result? These companies are run by 'people' who make mistakes. They will receive what they deserve in due course. Although I wish it was sooner rather than later.

I just received a call today from "World Market System". I gave them the story that I couldn't do something like this without talking to my husband. They offered to "help out" if out budget was to tight. I am so glad I did that. I googled them and read all about them. If they call you tell them NO THANKS.

I fell for the whole thing too. Help me get out. What steps do I need to take with my credit card and these people?

This company took my life savings! I have been in and out of hospitals for close to five years and I told three different people my situation! They all lied! I have been with the program for close to 7 months now and have only made 20 dollars back after spending $7800... I am embarrassed to say that I was taken for a fool. Being I used a Credit card to get all of this going, since my coach told me this is what most people do, and then pay if off the with the money that is made- I now owe both hospital bills AND close to 9000 dollars now for my Credit card because the interest rate is so high. You don't need to believe me, but I'm telling you- if you are thinking of doing this- this company has ruined my life. I have no way of getting better or making money- and I have nowhere to go. go figure, I call my coach one a week and they don't even talk to me anymore. hopefully you're story isn't as bad as mine, but if they can rip off a cancer patient, they are going to rip you off too!!!

Is it possible to have a rating of absolutely ZERO stars? This company needs to close down. I have a cousin who lives in the states and she says that companies like this rarely get shut down because they have so much money to find loopholes. I bought the top of the line "starter kit" and then had a coach, an older gentleman, and he talked me into another package "for advertising" that was twice as expensive! By the third call I had I was ready to quit! After reading all of this crap, I want my thousands of dollars back. I hope they all someday lose something important to them. And if not now, they will- as karma is a bitch.

Thank you for the comments made. I too signed up last Friday 15th and now feel very angry with myself. I am currently in talks with them for a full refund but have also notified my card company of the situation

I was just called by "jim" from world market systems....half way through the audio segment they ask you to listen to at the beginning of the call, I decided to hang up. The entire thing sounded so familiar to me - and not in a good way. I have had all the same promises made to me during the past few months by several similar companies and NONE have delivered anything they had guaranteed. Once I hung up, I looked them up on the web and quickly realized how happy I was that I indeed hung up and didn't even give them the time of day to try to convince me to give them my money. For anyone new to this type of "work from home" business.....please carefully research any and all companies before spending one penny on them....most of them are scams. It truly is hard to believe that there are so many people out there stealing money from innocent people. Be careful out there!!

My encounter with world market systems was via an ad placed in the employment section of a job website,I would say that they are very misleading and pushy and after outlaying an initial $150 was told by their ad rep that I needed to spend anywhere up to $4000 or more to succeed. They cant or are not willing to provide any guarantee of any income. My thoughts are it all seems very dodgy and pulled out early.

I received a call from world marketing systems catching me off guard, and I fell for the pitch of guaranteed sales and income. I felt a sense of urgency on their part when asking for my account details and I knew it was a bad idea but went for it anyway. Later I kicked myself for going against my better judgement. I forgot that if something sounds to good to be true...IT PROBABLY IS!!! Anyone who reads these testimonials, PLEASE research what they are offering you before you agree to anything, they are smooth operators and to them we are all lamb to lead to the slaughter.

I first got sucked in by these guys years ago under the name of 24Hour Cash Flow. Traffic Designs is another. I wasted 5G's. They still run the same audio (which I recognized). No one called me back over 3 days, so I called back myself, & got the same coach as I did years ago -Robert Music. At that point, I searched them out on the internet, & was so disapointed. I got my $ back this time tho. These guys should be shut down!

I've been scammed by world market systems. I typed "world market systems" in google search engine and to my shock and horror I saw all these websites, youtube video and forums telling how this company is a scam... ripping off people left-right and center and every which way they can manipulate people by their ads and over the phone literally deceiving people into buying their pathetic packages in order to start an online sales/affiliate business and you only get paid thats if you ever do or not once a month. I'm going to ask for my full refund asap. I'm so angry at myself for trusting these money-grubbing people and being conned into purchasing a package on the spot. Lets shut em down... any ideas?
