Work at Home Recruiters Review

Is Emily Thomas' WorkatHomeRecruiters.com a Scam...?

Work at Home Recruiters (workathomerecruiters.com) is a new site that claims to be, as the title suggests, a recruiting site for work at home employees.  When you visit the site you'll see that the creators have spared no effort on the impression of legitimacy.

The problem is that the entire site is an exercise in false advertisement and customer misdirection.  For instance no matter what information you enter into the prescreening form the site always recommends the same auction listing "Job" and the ticker still says there're only 3 positions remaining.

When you do further research on this website you'll find out the truth about them and their so called Auction Listing Agent position.

So What is WorkatHomeRecruiters.com Really Selling...?

For starters this site is a near word for word rip-off of an already existing pseudo scam called Auction Work at Home.  There're some minor differences in wording and they've changed the name of the program's creator from Cathy Banks to Emily Thomas but it's still an obvious copy cat site.

They're also selling the program for a hundred dollars less, but aside from these minor changes it's virtually the same course with a new name.

Proof That Work at Home Recruiters is Really Just a New Face on an Old Site.....

Snapshot of WorkatHomeRecruiters.com

Snapshot of AuctionWorkatHome.com

At first I thought that workathomerecruiters.com was run by the same people who created the original program.  It's very common for these types of businesses to change the name and look of their product when unfavorable reviews start to hurt sales.

However, a WhoIs search revealed that the owner of workathomerecruiters.com is a company called NSA Technologies LLC.  This company has been behind some popular work at home programs such as: Automated Wealth System, MakeMoneyTakingSurveys.org, Underground Cash Secret, and many more now defunct sites.

These past programs were not downright scams as they did operate within legal boundaries however, you'll be hard pressed to find any favorable reviews or positive feedback from their former customers.

So is the Actual Auction Listing Program by Work at Home Recruiters a Scam...?

Again the course is not a complete scam but the advertising for it is completely misleading.  The entire purpose of the Work at Home Recruiters website is to make folks feel like they're applying for a real job.  Everything from the name of the site to the language they use in their promotions is intended to create the illusion of a real job.

In reality this is a course in Dropshipping and selling items on eBay...Working for yourself.  They also leave out the fact that in addition to the $97 fee for the materials the course is based around a subscription to Doba, which will cost you additional reoccurring monthly fees.

Doba is simply a website where users come to search for the cheapest drop shippers around for products they wish to sell.  The idea is to find items under retail price and auction them off at a profit.

You can make money this way and there're people who do this as a profession, however you can forget about this listing agent position as it's a complete fabrication.  This is not an easy way to make money as you always have to be in search of better deals and keep an eye on the competition from under cutting your listings.

I would recommend using caution when dealing with this company they don't have a great customer service record and employ unethical business methods.  If you need to contact them for a refund or customer support they can be reached at:

Work At Home Recruiters - 1 (888) 383-2370
3867 West Market Street, Suite 256,
Akron, Ohio 44333.

RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK!
This is a scam that preys on people while they're at their lowest! I only wish I had found this page before shelling out money I can't afford to lose.
I tried to phone their so-called Customer Care Centre to get my refund, but was informed by a recording that "this number is not available in your area". I am infuriated, but not surprised! So, in the meantime, I contacted them via email, but haven't heard back yet. If I ever receive my refund I'll update here.

I USE TO WORK FOR THEM AND THEY TREATED THERE WORKERS LIKE THEY DO THERE CUSTOMERS , IT DOESN'T WORK AND I WISH I KNEW THAT BEFORE I STARTED I WOULD OF NEVER SOLD ANYTHING AND TOOK PEOPLE MONEY, ITS BAD ENOUGH TO FIGURE IT OUT WHEN U GOT SCAMMED BUT ITS WORSE WHEN U FIGURE IT OUT WHEN U WORK THERE AND U FIND OUT THE TRUTH WHEN U SOLD TO ABOUT 90 PEOPLE I WISH I HAD THE MONEY TO GIVE BACK TO THE PEOPLE , TO THE PEOPLE I SOLD TO I AM VERY SORRY.

Program Rating = None. It seemed appropriate for this weary soul. I should imagine there is a site to help investigate this further. Maybe a blog to read more complaints regarding 'good vs evil'. It is difficult to separate the legit offers from the junk email arriving in one's box. I will 'site' this, time and again, looking for new information. Thank you for listening. Good luck to all who have not received a refund.

Now I really feel the egg on my face! Not only did I shell out the $97, I also paid $197 for some 16 CDs to get "inside info" on big tips to selling on EBay, all under the "Emily Thomas" guise.

HOWEVER - it didn't end there. I almost was suckered into paying them $14,030, BY CREDIT CARD (they call this using leveraged money) for supposedly becoming one of their "fast track selling team" having them hold my hand to get my "business" up and running an able to pay THAT off within 3 to 6 months.

I consider myself fairly intelligent until now! Thank goodness that "purchase" was denied and I was able to come to my senses and cancel the card. I thought I asked all the right questions too - like asking about BBB, what was in it for them, etc. I was given the BBB entry for "eVortex LLC" which the BBB gave an A+ rating. Then it occurred to me to Google Emily Thomas.

I wonder if I can get back my initial $294 back! Maybe by disputing the charges?

Wish my "brains" would have kicked in to google Emily BEFORE I shelled out the moola - I too am unemployed at the moment.

Thanks for all the comments. It is sad that things like this go on - I can hear "them" now (because the call was recorded): "We didn't promise you anything but to 'coach' you to making an internet business successful.

Funny, I called the "Sr. Director" back using the number he gave me to sucker me in and left a message that I had a few more questions and to call me back - it hadn't been 15 minutes when I last talked to him. Of course, it's now 2 hrs later and he hasn't called me back!

I too am looking for a legitimate work at home job!

As most of you, I am looking for ways to make an extra income from home so that I can quit my job by the end of the year. I was ready to give it a go, although I wasn't really sure whether this program was genuine or not. THANK YOU for posting this! I do believe that working from home is the way to go so any suggestions are more that welcome.

I am always looking at ways to make extra cash and don't mind putting in the work, you get nothing without effort. Always be suspicious of any site that asks for money for this kind of service. If these schemes really worked they would not ask for a fee until you made some money as they would be confident of it working. Unfortunately in desperate times we all hope to find a scheme that will 'save' us, I've wasted loads of cash in the past. Good luck with your ventures and be careful.

i was reading the site this morning and right now im in a really bad spot desperate for work and money so i read the entire page saying to myself if i get 13$ for every listing i do i would be on the grind all the time to make money but like the facebook add another scam ... the reason why i was thinking of doing it is because there are people out there who do work from home and make a really good living if any body knows where something like that is let me know...

AS everyone has stated, THANKS for adding your notes in regards to this Scam. I think they messed up by making it sound TOO good, the woman is a millionaire?? Then they state she is known as the #1 work at home,etc..etc...If she's known as the #1 work at home opportunity then you should be able to do a Google search and see great reviews..but instead if you do a search you find out that it is a scam...ALWAYS look into internet business..

I paid my $97 and I was told it would be in my account in 7 to 8 business days. The Customer Service Rep said refunds usually return faster than this. To my amazement the funds was back into my bank account in 3 business days. Now that I'm thinking....the Rep already had info in regards to how long the refund would take therefore other's have gone through this process. What am I trying to say...the program must not be what i'ts cracked up to be if other's were/are asking for their money back. I went back to apply for the position that stated only 3 left.when i tried to get off the page it counted down to only 1 position left so that made me give my $97 originally, seats were going fast. But I went in a few other times and it always stated there were 3 positions in the DIFFERENT areas I did put in. And again as I tried to move away from the page it the 3 became 2 so I decided what if it went down to 1 so I went back till it showed 1. it then took me directly to collecting the information for your payment.I went to the top 50 frequently asked questions it stated there are other fee's involved (small they say) fee's you are responsible for such as the Pay pal and a seller's fee and of course a shipping fee that they say you should include when listing the auction. The advertisement made it seem like you were getting $13 just to advertise whether it sells or not. I also found out it's not always $13. Commission may be a bit bigger or a bit smaller they say. They did not mention that you would have to actually sell it yourself or maybe I just didn't understand that part. Anyway I got my money back and I am happy about that. I believe if you stick with it and work really really hard you may just make a little bit of money but they made it sound so easy and it's alot more to it. Very misleading.

If I can aid in helping someone to avoid heartache and money loss, I'm happy to do so. This Emily Thomas thing appeared to me, unfortunately, at a time when I was desperate for money and thought this was a possible answer to a little extra income. I read all about it and watched the little online infomercial, and in my vulnerable/desperate state, I signed up, believing this could be a good thing. However, I felt a sickness in my stomach as I did. Huge, huge, huge mistake to sign up for this scam. Once I completed the little course, in one evening, I was spilled into some website that was nothing more than a dead end. It was impossible to navigate, and it was then that I snapped into reality and realized that I had been totally punk'd. DO NOT BUY INTO THIS. It is nothing more than robbery.

I received an email from 'Emily Thomas'. I don't usually open unsolicited emails..but it sounded ok. The first thing I noticed was lack of true info as well as no email, phone numbers or even PO BOX. This made me wary so I did a net search and stumbled upon your review here. I would not have given 'them' any $$ without more solid info but I wanted to thank you regardless. It's nice that you've taken time to post and expose this scam. Likely it's saved many folks heart ache and $$. Hat Tip.

All i wanted was a chance to survice, so went online to look for work and still have time with my son. Work at home recruiters sent me a mail and after reading through, i decided to sign up.Thank God for reminding me to check them up. Lo and behold they are a scam as every one of you has said. My daughter and I signed up for this course because it got us all excited and ' hyped up ' because we are SEVERELY struggling financially. The $97. we each gave for this program was practically ' blood ' money if you know what I mean. We keep getting emails from this pseudonym 'called' Emily Thomas which I have come to believe are just a front for a corporation or many corporations just ripping people off. The emails we receive are for us to join other rip off companies in my opinion!
I hope this deters anyone from sending Emily Thomas one dollar of their hard-earned money. Emily Thomas has been depicted as a poor little struggling mother of three who could barely make ends meet nine years ago....she looks like a decent, honest cute little mommy but I don't believe she is the brains behind this business of making money on EBAY...and that is basically what it amounts to. They let you think you are going to get a list of companies to advertise for and you, basically, get paid for that but I have found it to be untrue in my circumstance and so has my 32 year old daughter....
