GrabPoints Reviews – Legit or Scam?

May 18th, 2017  |  Published in Paid Surveys

GrabPoints.com is the online home of GrabPoints, a company that says their goal is to give people the option to “grab offers, grab points, and grab free gift cards,” by using their mobile application.

This website provides people with a mobile application where they will complete a variety of activities in exchange for points which are awarded to them, based on the activities they have completed.

Perhaps the best part of this company and their service is that they offer their customers access to their mobile application and all its benefits completely free of charge at the time of download and throughout their time as a member.

How It Works

The GrabPoints mobile application is actually a market research service. They get people to sign up and download their mobile application and then they will be provided with special offers, surveys, videos, and the opportunity to try and use new mobile applications.

Their website claims that the mobile apps you try and surveys you complete will help Fortune 500 companies improve their products and services, which is why GrabPoints will provide you with points for all the activities you complete.

Members will also be able to earn points by referring their friends and family members to become GrabPoints members as well. Members who collect the appropriate amount of points will then be able to exchange them for gift cards to retailers like Amazon, BestBuy, StarBucks, Wal-Mart, Target, Paypal and more.

What to Consider

When it comes to earning money or rewards from a market research company, there are a few important questions to ask. The first is whether or not you can be a contributing member for free or whether they ask you to pay a fee. GrabPoints is completely free to download and to join, so they meet this standard.

The other important factor to consider is what the minimum payout is for their compensation or rewards. This company does not appear to openly publish this information on their website for prospective customers, but other members of this service have said that it is 300 points, or $3.00, which is a reasonable payout.

In general it does appear as though this company follows all the standards making it an ethical market research company where members may actually be able to earn rewards and get gift cards to useful retailers. What is important to remember, however, is that market research rewards are intended as supplemental income – there isn’t really a way to use this kind of side work to “replace your day job,” but it can be a fun and interesting way to earn extra side money when you have time.

DollarClix Reviews – Legit or Scam?

May 18th, 2017  |  Published in Paid Surveys

DollarClix.com is the online home of DollarClix, a company that says they are the number one paid survey community who has decided to take their successful service and make accessible as a mobile application.

The DollarClix mobile application is actually a market research service. They get people to sign up and download their mobile application and then they will be provided with access to a variety of special offers and free trials.

The more special offers and free trials that you sign up for through their service, the more you will be rewarded with points. These points will eventually add up and be converted into payouts through Bitcoin, Paypal, or Amazon.

DollarClix is also especially enthusiastic about their referral program, which they refer to as a way to earn steady, reliable passive income, because their company says that whenever one of your referrals earns points, you will earn points as well.

Concerns

When it comes to earning money or rewards from a market research company, there are a few important questions to ask. The first is whether or not you can be a contributing member for free or whether they ask you to pay a fee. DollarClix is completely free to download and to join, so they meet this standard.

Another important factor to consider is what the minimum payout is for their compensation or rewards. This company appears to use $5 as their standard minimum payout for most of the companies they payout to, and this isn’t an incredibly high threshold to reach.

DollarClix does have a serious problem, however. It appears that most of their “market research” is actually done in the form of “special offers.” This is an issue because special offers generally mean free trials, and when free trials expire people are charged fees.

Companies who put all their emphasis and focus on getting people to sign up for trials they don’t want or need and that will ultimately charge them fees higher than their rewards are not really ethical companies that benefit the members that are working with them.

If you are someone who has worked with special offers and free trials before, and you feel that you could successfully manage the organization and scheduling that makes it possible to earn money from these opportunities without paying large numbers of fees, then you may still want to try this mobile app for yourself. But if you are new to this type of earning, it is probably better that you simply find a more straightforward market research company to work with.

SaySo4Profit.com Reviews – Legit or Scam?

September 6th, 2016  |  Published in Paid Surveys

SaySo4Profit.com is the online home of the SaySo4Profit, is a company that says they were established in 2005 in order to help people of all ages and demographics to get paid for their opinions.

Their website says that big name companies throughout the United States spend more than 30 billion dollars on opinion research in order to “get inside consumers’ heads” because of how valuable customers opinions are to new and existing products.

Because these companies understand how valuable customer opinions are to them, they are willing to pay people for these opinions, making it an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to earn supplemental income or even monthly income.

How Does It Work?

SaySo4Profit.com is not actually a market research company themselves, but rather their goal is to provide people in the direction of “ethical, legitimate, high paying survey panels on the Internet.”

The website says that they will teach their members how to join carefully selected survey panels, get money for inviting your friends to join survey panels, answer surveys online, participate in collective interviews, get paid for mystery shopping, and more.

In addition, this website says that they offer all of this education and all of their resources completely for free, because they simply earn money just by pointing you in the direction of the companies that will pay you for surveys.

Is SaySo4Profit.com Legit?

Paid market research is one of the oldest and most popular ways of earning money online, and there are many, many websites that attempt to earn money by “pointing” people in the direction of online survey companies. The most important difference, however, is that most of the other companies that do this, do it for a fee, while SaySo4Profit.com does it for free.

That being said, this company isn’t exactly as honorable as it portrays, as it still perpetrates many of the myths and lies surrounding this industry by claiming that they will teach their members how to find short surveys that will pay them $10, or to qualify for panel surveys that will pay them $150 an hour.

Do $10 online surveys and $150 an hour panels exist in the world? Maybe. But they are incredibly rare and it’s not even remotely fair to tell people that’s what they should “expect” when getting into this kind of work.

The truth is that most online survey work pays maybe a dollar or two per survey, because, as mentioned above, this type of work takes no special skills or experience, it doesn’t even take that much time. So it simply is never going to pay much, and is truly best suited for people who find the work interesting and would like to get a small amount of extra money per month.

20/20 Panel Reviews – Legit or Scam?

May 22nd, 2016  |  Published in Paid Surveys

The 20/20 Panel, found online at 2020Plan.com, is a new market research company which promises their members a way to simply and easily earn money from home just by giving their opinion.

People who are interested in being members of the 20/20 Panel and taking part in their paid research opportunities are welcome to do so just by signing up and filling out their questionnaire and profile.

Though members are not asked to pay any fees to become a member of this company, they are asked to provide as much information and detail in their profiles as possible, because this makes it easier to match you with the appropriate opportunities.

How Does the 20/20 Panel Work?

According to their website, the 20/20 Panel works like most other market research companies, in that they partner with large corporations that are interested in hearing what you have to say about the products and services you use every day.

These companies pay 20/20 to create the surveys and other research opportunities, like focus groups, product testing, and more, and to implement this research, collect and analyze the data, and provide it back to them.

In exchange for you actually taking the time to participate in and complete these research opportunities, 20/20 Panel says that their members could be paid between $50 and $150 “just for sharing your opinion.”

The Concerns

The fact that this company does not charge their members a membership fee is incredibly important, because no market research company should ever charge fees in exchange for their customers’ work. However, there are some other concerns which should be addressed.

First, this company makes ridiculous and unrealistic earnings claims, saying that their members should expect to be paid between $50 and $150 per project, when the truth is that online surveys usually pay less than $5 per survey, and product testing doesn’t pay much more. An in-person focus study will often pay more, because you are required to come in and be dedicated to a task for part of your day, but this company only provides in-person studies for people that live in the Nashville, Charlotte, or Miami areas.

In addition, this company provides no information about how they compensate their members, whether in actual cash or gift cards or in “prizes,” nor do they offer any information on how much you will have to accumulate in your account before you can withdraw your rewards. This is important, because companies that require high withdrawal minimums are generally trying to get their members to provide them with market research that they will never actually pay them for.

The bottom line is that, because this company does not charge their members any fees, people should feel comfortable trying this opportunity for themselves, but they should understand up front that they are not going to earn the large sums of money promised by their sales page.

Offernation.com Reviews – Legit or Scam?

April 18th, 2016  |  Published in Paid Surveys

Offernation.com is the online home of Offernation, a website which promises to give people a way to earn extra money from home with market research, one of the oldest and most popular internet industries.

Online market research is one of the internet’s most popular ways of earning money because it’s a very passive stream of income. Generally speaking, people are promised that all they need to do is provide their opinions about things they’ve already done or products they’ve already used.

People who are interested in working with this company simply need to sign up with their address and their active email address and they’ll be able to get access to all the available earnings opportunities on this site.

How It Works

Instead of just being a traditional market research or survey company, Offernation.com actually describes themselves as a Get Paid To website, which means that they offer more than just surveys to their members.

Currently their website says that they offer their members “exclusive” paid surveys, videos to watch, and trial offers. Members can sign into their account at any time and can choose whichever opportunities they are most interested in.

Though the website does not openly publish their withdrawal information, other websites have reported that once customers have accumulated 100 points, or the equivalent of $1.00, they will be able to begin withdrawing the funds they earned.

Is Offernation.com Legit?

The fact that Offernation.com does not ask their customers to pay any membership fees is very important, because often the first sign of an unethical market research company is the fact that they ask members to pay for opportunities.

The second good sign is that they appear to have realistic earnings claims for their customers, showing their prospective customers a list of their most recent customer payouts, all of which appear to be $5.00 or less. This is actually a very reasonable expectation for their new customers to have – market research isn’t really a way to earn large amount of money. It’s best when used as a supplemental form of income.

The one concern with this company, however, is that they do appear to promote using trial offers to earn money. Trial offers are not necessarily a bad way to earn money online, but they can be complicated. People who are not organized and forget to cancel the trial offer during the prescribed period of time often ending up paying significantly more in fees than they earn from participating in the trial.

Customers who decide to use this company for earnings’ opportunities should keep this in mind, and should never participate in more trial offers than they can keep track of.
