Timothy Sykes Reviews

About Timothy Sykes

Timothy Sykes describes himself as a best selling author, ex-hedge fund manager, trader, and self-made millionaire who has the made decision to spend his life mentoring investors and traders.

His website says that he can teach people how to earn $30,000 in just seven days with a three step system, which he explains as finding the best stocks, learning his niche strategy for big profits, and making a “full time living from part time trading.”

Timothy Sykes has an extremely wide range of programs meant to address your personal trading goals, including Tim’s Stock Trading Challenge which he describes as giving his members secret strategies and the ability to talk to Tim himself.

Or you can choose to enroll in TimAlerts, which costs $49.95 a month and gives you access to chat rooms with over 200 active traders, a daily stock watch list, and real time trade alerts via email and text message.

And there is even the PennyStocking Silver Plan. For $99.95 a month, members will receive all of Tim’s alerts in addition to weekly video lessons and access to his video library, with over 1,150 different videos.

Regardless of which of Tim’s investment plans you may choose to participate in, they all work with a particular type of stock, referred to as “penny stocks.” These are stocks which trade under one dollar a share.

According to his website, Timothy Sykes was considered the top trader on the investment website Covestor from the years 2008 through 2011. Unfortunately his current involvement in penny stock trading means that he is no longer eligible to be a featured trader on their website.

He is, however, currently one of the traders featured on the website Profitly, an online company which features stock picks and advice informed by acquired data and market transparency. They even refer to Timothy Sykes as their “inspiration.”

Whenever using an online service as a guide for trading and investing, you must be in a position to lose any money you invest. Customers with complaints don’t really have any legal recourse, so it’s your responsibility to independently research all trade advice.
