Think and Grow Rich
Think and Grow
Rich is the compelling work of author
Napoleon Hill. Think and Grow Rich is the
product of Napoleon Hill's numerous
interviews with the most rich and powerful men of
his time, done in an effort to isolate and
expound the reasons or forces behind
success.
Scottish Us Steel Magnate Andrew Carnegie
was fascinated with what separated the
successful from the failures in his society.
Upon meeting the young journalist, Napoleon
Hill, Carnegie commissioned him to
investigate the subject and report his
findings. Thus Think and Grow Rich was born
out of 20 years of extensive research and
hundreds of interviews with the richest men of
the time.
The interviews in Think and Grow Rich
included, Eastman, Ford, Darrow, Morgan,
Wrigley, Rockefeller, Wanamaker, Woolworth,
Edison, Burbank, Firestone, and three United
States Presidents.
Think and Grow Rich’s subsequent message
as viewed by Napoleon Hill turned out to be
simple yet enlightening. Napoleon Hill
concluded that with the right attitude and
the understanding of the minds capabilities
a person can achieve anything.
This has been summed up in Napoleon
Hill’s famous line, "Whatever the mind of
man can conceive and believe it can
achieve."
Overall, Think and Grow Rich is an
excellent read for any budding entrepreneur
or status climber. The only drawbacks are
the period language which you have to adjust
to and Think and Grow Rich’s male centered
view.
Since the book was written almost a
century ago you really can’t blame Napoleon
Hill for his sexist perspective. His
research did begin prior to the women’s
movement and successful women were not an
abundant commodity at the time for him to
interview. Regardless, man or woman can
greatly benefit from the core principals
found in Think and Grow Rich. If you're at Reviewopedia.com because you're looking for a way to make money online then check out our article "7 Ways to Make Money Online" - methods that anyone can use to earn an income from home.
