Oh and for the people who complained about not making money in their business, excuses are the nails for building a house of failure.

I ask you people that are so negative about Team National this question, how many of you are Sam's Club members? Or maybe you shop at Wal-Mart once a week.Sam's Club has a membership of around $50 a year(I'm guessing),and when was the last time Sam's Club cut you a check for shopping with them? I don't remember ever getting one.Wal-Mart has hundreds if not thousands of class action law suits against them, and yet they're the biggest retailer in the nation.I dropped my Sam's Club membership, and I stopped shopping at Wal-Mart.Those people who wrote negative remarks about not saving money obviously didn't use their membership. |

Tried for 2 years. Went to the meetings. Savings for two years $ 98.33, money made after 24 meetings and 3 sales 400.00. Not worth the time or investment. 2 years and 2 thousand dollars later. I am done!!! |

My goodness how negative many people are on this page. YUCK I am a new member with Team National and no I am not a millionaire either and have not even made my money back but that is my choice. I've seen it work and if you truly believe in it you will be also be successful with it. Networking Marketing is not a scam and if you read into it a bit better with understanding you would most defiantly get the company a bit better. I am sorry that most of the people on this page have so many negative things to say. Where are they right now with there life? Positive attitude will have positive outcomes!!!!!!!!!!! |

I have been a member for four years and I have saved more than three times the cost of the membership so I feel this has been a sound investment. It sure is doing a lot better then my real estate or 401K.- also have made a nice tidy weekly income by letting other people know about this company. |

Great company, great leadership. I've been a member a little over three years. Honestly, you can't lose. My brother bought a package and never used it yet and never marketed it either. But he calculated that the first two years he had this package and using the business as a tax deduction, paid for the life time package. Think about that. Now I've used the benefits and I've made money. MLM it is not. Multi- Level right? Our marketing plan has unlimited depth, there is no cut off level. So it is not multi-level. My parents have saved on eye glasses. I've saved alot on ink for my printer, oil changes, auto parts. Bought seven $25 gift certificates for local restaurants and paid $12 and got 30% back on that. Looking at getting a dining room table and chairs, it is going to cost me around $500, thats with delivery. Great quality stuff. You can't even get four descent chairs for $500.
If I had to pay the money again for this package, I would do it in a heart beat. Great news is that I don't have to and my grand children get to use it for free for the rest of their lives, and I don't even have grand kids yet. |

I just got my standard membership ($795.00) yesterday. I haven't made any money yet or saved any money. I did tons of research before I signed up and am very excited to have made this decision. First off $800 isn't much to be worried over if I lose out and manage to make no money in the 2 years that the membership is valid for on the standard package. Also I have noticed several things about the company and those involved so far:
1. There are people in this company that don't know what they're talking about, therefore can't explain all the excellent benefits properly. This in turn creates the domino effect of more unsatisfied people. Since the people involved didn't have a good host, they have no idea what the hell is going on anyway. I know this because it took two people striking out at talking to me to finally get one person who knows what he's talking about and could state the facts, not just things he thought I wanted to hear.
2. You can not pressure people into signing up. All people react negatively to pressure, in any form. If someone feels like you are depending on them for a paycheck, they're either not going to do it, or they're going to do it and regret it. I was never pressured into joining, I was just thoroughly explained the pros and cons.
3. You can't make any money if you're not willing to get out and work for it. This company is about helping people succeed and save money in the meantime. Just because you signed up before someone else doesn't mean that money is going to just fall in your lap, you have to get out and talk to people and above all know what you're talking about/explain things thoroughly.
Finally, I do not regret my decision nor am I worried that I will lose the $800 I invested. In fact I know I will make that money back in a very short period of time due to the fact that my team is strong and they're very helpful. Furthermore the naysayers most likely either had a bad host, or are lazy. My friends are excited and I'm excited about this company. Nothing anyone can say on this site or any other site will change the fact that Team National is a good group to be a part of. |

8 months ago I sat for 3 hours at a dear friends house listening to the big build up about how I can make a million dollars in 1 year. As for the savings no one would tell me what companies are connected to TN. 4 of the 5 attendees plunked down $2,200 that night and have nothing to show for it to date.
My dear friend was upset with me that I was the only one who didn't buy into this scam. This drove a wedge between our friendship of 18 years and I lost her as a friend.
That night TN walked out with $8,800 and the 4 attendees are ashamed to talk about them being duped.
As for my friend she saved a $1.00 on toilet paper and lost 4 more friends.
Even with the low bank rates you are better off putting this $2,200 in a savings account. At least you will still have the money. |

I was a Tn member. My membership was suppose to be for life, if I bought through the site one time yearly. That was what the rep told me. The rep is gone and company is NOT HONORING the membership. Maybe someone wants to sell me another one for 2k. LOL. Fool me once... |

I have been with National since 2005. I saved $1100 on my wife's and my wedding rings, saved $8000 on a vehicle purchase. We just bought a sofa and a love seat for less than $900 which will be shipped to the house. We bought Shaw Laminate flooring through TN and saved over half of what we would have spent at Home Depot or Lowes. The list of savings continues. If you think the savings aren't there, look again. Share it with a few friends and family and make an additional stream of income. Or don't share it and still save a ton of money. I chose to share it with a few and I haven't had to work a JOB in 14 months. Just bought a house, paid cash. And my wife and I just had twins last month. 26, married, three kids, no JOB and life couldn't be better. Common sense dictates you look at this with your eyes open! It will change your life if you network properly. Listen to those who are making the money, they will show you how it's done. Better yet! They will help you to get where you want to be. All of you reading this has a choice, come with us or keep playing the blame game at why your life isn't what you want it to be. Your life is determined by the choices you make. I love this company. I am not a good salesman, I am not really good at anything but playing percussion. But this made sense. Think it through. If you choose to come on board, get my number, call me, I will help you. GodBless and have a Great Day! |

I am also very proud to be a team national member. The savings are a given. I have been involved in team national for 3years and my husband and I have saved over $15,000 on things we were already spending money on any way. I have also made money with this company as well! Comma checks!!!! So you cant tell me it is a scam. People in this world are just so negative. This company is for real! For all the negative comments all I have to say is that well you just aren't looking and you don't have any dreams anyway. |
MM CO | 9:05pm on Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 |
My ex-boyfriend was involved with team national. I went to a meeting with him once (the only meeting he went to in 1-1/2 years). I could not figure out what the company is or how you make money through it. At the meeting, the salesman glossed over some of the benefits, that as a member you would save money on: gas additives, long distance service, vitamins. . .I was absolutely flabbergasted. Long distance? This is the year 2009! We all have cell phones! No one is looking for land line long distance service any more!
What ever it is they sell, just because some people are good sales people, not every person in the world is cut out to be a good sales person. And just because you pay your way into a sales position, especially, does not make you a good sales person. There were some rather socially unacceptable-looking people at the meeting--sorry to be so blunt, but nothing an honest assessment of oneself, of these people wouldn't fix--who wouldn't be able to get hired anywhere else, but now they are sales people because they paid their way in to Team National.
If you want to work for yourself and be your own boss and you know a lot of people to sell to, I think you would do better selling Avon or Tupperware than making such a huge investment in Team National. |
John FL | 3:35pm on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009 |
This is not a scam and I am not a "whistle blower". However this company has serious customer service issues. The corporate side is way behind the times for what the sales side is making it up to be. My main problem being this companies "auto-ship" programs and how you get paid back "commissions" on products you buy. Definitely not worth spending $2000 for! If you want furniture you can get the same items same price from many retailer and you do not have to pay a membership fee to do so. |

This is a huge mistake. If you were sold a song and dance, you have a 3 day right to cancel! Use it. Call, email and fax demanding your 3 day right to cancel. Then dispute your credit/debit cards or stop payment on the ck. IT'S THE LAW!!! you have 72 hours to change your mind. KEEP your records and receipts, showing that you exercised your 3 day right. |

This guy came to me and I could tell he was desperate for the sale. He lied and lied about the company and what it offers. Asking for proof of savings was a no no. THERE WEREN'T ANY. I am computer savy and I already get discounts without paying 2195.00. Has an attorney gotten involved at some point? Peddling for this much money with no real solid product must be illegal. I would like to see an atty begin a class action law suit for the people that were mislead about the savings, or the get rich scheme. |

Sounded good at the moment. Then I thought what I was going to have to ask my family and friends to do. For no guarantee of savings or earnings. I am a real estate agent and it did not take over 2000 for me to get started. This is insane. Way too much money for no possibility, except to make the upline rich. |

I am so thankful I read all this before I gave them my c card. Thanks to all of you that made me see the reality of this scheme with no substance. They really did not want to talk about the "savings" Just who I could sell this "membership" to. This is like a cult. These people are crazy. And I am keeping my money! |
Sherry Fla | 4:08pm on Friday, August 28th, 2009 |
No the company does not promise you anything. Listen to the logic... The company takes your 2000 dollars and promises you nothing. There may or may not be savings for you. NOW if you sell this 2000 no promise to others and take their money with no basis of a promise, you may make money. Sorry but this gal has better sense than to give a company 2000 without a guarantee or promise of something of value "Consideration". I really believe the Attorney General or Federal trade commission needs to look into this company!!

This song and dance carrot dangling should be illegal. It's a pyramid scheme pure and simple. Listen to the wealthy and few at the very top. They NEED your 2k because they get a piece of it!!! There are NOT enough savings to justify your 2000+. Don't try it and if you just joined, exercise your three day right!!! |

I have saved hundreds of dollars at Sears too!! WITHOUT being a member of TN. It's real easy. I save at Target too. I save money everywhere I shop and it does not cost me a thing and I do not have to sell any memberships!!! Keep a credit card in good standing with your stores that you shop. Join their online savings club and LIKE MAGIC, you get deep discounts, private shopping hours, and money back discounts!!! Don"t waste your money and time for what you can do yourself!! |

I can't believe anyone would save 2 thousand dollars on extended warranty for your auto. I have never paid more than a thousand for a warranty to begin with!! Do you understand that you can shop the extended warranty companies? I have bought 7 in the past 13 years for all my cars. NEVER paid over a thousand for newer and older models. Your savings are not real!!! |

I have worked the company for 2 years and saved 33 dollars. I have been to 17 homes, trying to sell the way I was taught. Not one person bought the membership. Over 2000 yes two thousand dollars and hundred of hours of my time invested. This is only for the few at the top. Don't waste your money or time. That's why they let you listen to the top to sell the membership!!! |
Jeff Missouri | 3:29pm on Monday, August 24th, 2009 |
I have saved a lot more money than I spent to join. I saved $2000 alone on an extended warranty for my automobile compared to the one from GM, and the warranty has paid out around $3500.00 for repairs on my car!! I bought $350 worth of coupons for GREAT local restaurants for a little over $19.00. That's a 331.00 savings. I save $7.00 each ($14.00 total) on the ink cartridges I have to buy for my printer, and I buy them often!! I have saved money at Sears, and other big name retailers. I have even saved money on Ebay!!
I have also earned (notice I wrote EARNED) nearly enough money to cover my original investment. I work the system part time!! As someone stated earlier the company does not make any promises as to you becoming wealthy!! They give you the opportunity to do so!! The company says the amount of money you make will depend on the time and effort you put in to building your own business!! It's like one of our top earner says: "If you just sit on your couch (and do nothing),they're gonna come take your couch!" |

We do not expect "for free". You PAY 2200 for the membership and have to ASK friends and family to PAY 2200 and so on and so on. YOU have to LIE and tell your friends all about the BIG SAVINGS that are not there. They are about the SAME savings you can receive by going to other sites or directly to the merchant! Yea so you can pay a STUPID amount for a WORTHLESS membership. Now, to WORK THE BUSINESS, you MUST SELL this OVERPRICED MEMBERSHIP to your FAMILY AND FRIENDS and convince them. And this is good business??? I think not. |

I have read all the comments on this web page and it is amazing of the people that think are going to get something for nothing. These people think they should be paid because you join a company but will not work. Try not going to work next week and let me know how much money you make. The savings are real and income side is real, but you have to get up off your DUFF to earn anything in this world |

There are no savings. The same thing is offered FOR FREE in other sites!!!Don't sell this to your friends and family. YOU WILL feel very guilty. This company has hurt relationships, hurt families, just to sell something that you can get for free. Remember your 3 day right! After you sign, you have 3 days. How to exercise your right.
On the back of the form you signed should have been something you fill out and fax in. If not send a letter in writing. #1. Keep your confirmation!!! #2. Call from your cell, and call your cell phone co for records. #3. Send a letter to company, CERTIFIED. Then send all this to your Atty General for your state!!! If your rep was sneaky like mine was, he did not give you a copy, or, he gave you one with the missing rights on back. If on your credit card,,,dispute immediately. You have a 3 day right. My attorney threatened to sue them and they returned my money. I am still out interest and atty fees bc the company vice president told me that I did not send the form in and the rep told her he gave it to me. He never did. He was a PREACHER and now he's not!!! So sad how this company is ruining people...good people. Don't do it. A few are wealthy by the masses who are not. |
JoAnn Austin, Tx | 5:38pm on Monday, August 17th, 2009 |
My husband joined without asking me. Keeping an open and positive attitude, and hoping at least to recover some money, I did the homework after the membership purchase. I used our "IMD" membership number to access the Big N/TN purchasing website with links to vendors. Because I was motivated in getting our money back in "savings", I spent 12 hours of research over 6 weeks, cross referencing and crunching the numbers from toiletries (including their product line) to cars, insurance, mortgage, travel, jewelry, furniture and business supplies. This is what I discovered:
The POSITIVES: there are savings, though small. One instance is discounts at limited restaurants in your zip code.
The NEGATIVES: in every instance except one (above) I was able to save more or equal the savings on their vendor links. There is a minimum purchase on most sites for free shipping. If you have basic navigation skills, and the savvy to know which sites to go to for savings, in almost every category you can do better on the internet, warehouse or discount store. Particularly egregious was the difference in the cost of a 20 lb bag of Avoderm Natural and Science Diet dogfood It was double on the BigN link. I shopped laminate flooring. It was less with tax at a nationally recognized warehouse. And, financed a year without interest!
AFTER MUCH FRUSTRATION, I asked our TN member seller to show me in DETAIL, how do I get the best deal thru BigN/TN? The request made him uncomfortable. Probably because he doesn't even have a email address. Obviously tech ignorant and intimidated by my questions, he had his upline TN member seller call me. Like a politician, she was evasive about specifics on how to navigate their site and making an appointment with me to show several exact comparisons. She did talk about all her "business" qualifications. That is not what I asked for. By the way, she had to go, during our phone conversation.
Recommendations: Ask to use the selling member's access for 3 months to check how the savings will work for you. If you are not skillful in navigating the internet, ask a friend to check several competitive savings at other reputable sites for you. Ask about the "Home Depot" savings card from your TN seller. Have them produce the card or better, call your local Home Depot and ask them about the "BigN" or TN discount card. Ask your TN seller to spend time navigating the site in detail for savings ONLY IF you are comfortable with internet research. Don't let them use MSRP as a reference. Everyone discounts off MSRP. How knowledgeable are they about internet research and discount sites? How long will it take you to get your investment back if you don't sell a membership? Maybe you don't need a car, furniture, vacation, mortgage or diamond right now. Is their response "maybe a friend or family will be in the market"?
I bet they will really, really encourage the meetings! I have gone to a meeting with a open mind. Go to a large meeting. Really listen. Try not to get caught up the promises and emotions. Is it important to sell memberships for your "business" starting with family and friends?
Listen to their tapes. Are the tapes repetitive and motivational with obvious statistics of "business". Listen to tapes of other ML marketing companies. Eerily similar??
My conclusion: Most people are very trusting and get caught up in the emotional aspect of Team National. There is emphasis on selling to family and friends. Many don't have the skills, or inclination to really spend the time doing research. Some are happy with a small discount without getting the best deal. I think there is also a superficial social, belonging to a group, comradery enthusiasm to it all. If you have a need for this, TN is it.
It has taken considerable time to do the research and write this. I have nothing to sell or anything to gain from sharing my story.I can't prove TN offers their members the best savings on all the products they advertise so I refuse to sell a lie to recoup our investment.
Please! Please! Don't be naive. Take your time, do your research and homework before getting caught up in the emotions and promises. |

Just got in for the savings. Easily shopped my car insurance and saved several hundred dollars. Saved a couple thousand extra on a new car. BigN is a waste of money and time (for Most everyone) to be fair some will do good. The hype they build is a bunch of crap.I have been there and done that I fall into that waste of time and money group. If you are thinking about this, do your research. By far most of the savings they claim you can get all by yourself without BigN. So their benefits package is about worthless. Save your money and shop your own savings!!!!!!! |

The company is not for everyone. We have been very selective in who we share team national with. We are not interested in just selling memberships. We are looking for sharp motivated people to team up with who share our desire to get more out of life. We have been able to help our friends make money and they are greatful for that. This company is all about teamwork. We were fortunate to join an amazing team with an amazing upline. When we were in St. Louis for the national convention my husband and I met people from all over the U.S.who shared our excitement and enthusiasm for Team National. We are able to help those people by sharing our success stories and they are happy to do the same for us. These people are not even on our team but we are happy to take a few minutes when they call in order to help their businesses grow. That is exactly what we love about this company! PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE! Unfortunately we have brought people aboard who are not willing to follow the system and put in the time. There is only one way to do this. We got ripped off when the company did not honor the 3 day right of recession. Costco does not charge 2200.00 for a membership. Find out why someone is stating they got ripped off!!! We were lied to, not given copies of what we signed. We contacted an atty and we got our money back. We were still charged interest on our credit card while we were in dispute, and had to pay atty fees to force the co to HONOR the 3 day right. Has nothing to do with not selling or being lazy. By law they were suppose to leave us copies and HONOR their 3 day right. |

Dear satisfied customer, we do not expect anything to fall in our laps. We do not need to be lied to or mislead. And that's what happened. I am so happy that you can spend alot of money at stores to qualify for the " commission". We do not shop at higher retail stores. WE WERE MISLEAD. And for your 10 hours a week for 3 months. That's about 240 hours to get your 2200 back. DO THE MATH, idiot. That's 2 people working 10 hours a week = 20 hrs x 12 weeks.
240 hours you have put in for 2200. Go work at Wal Mart. Your friends and fam will still like u! By the way... shop there too and you will save more. No commissions on toilet paper...but it's cheaper |

If you don't understand the concept and invest your time, you will not be satisfied. This company is much like anything else, you get out of it what you put into it! We have been members for about three months and have made enough money to cover our premium package. The savings have been icing on the cake. We spend anywhere from 3-10 hrs per week working our business. We also plug into our upline, weekly overviews, and made it to St. Louis for a summer convention. This company is making a big difference in alot of lives. For those of you that bought a membership and expected money to fall into your laps with little or no effort, keep your bitterness to yourselves! |

You can only make money by making other people [your friends and family] become a member. They can only make money by making their friends and family become a member. And so on and so on...............Reminds me of the AIRPLANE game that went around the country in the late 80's and early 90's. The airplane game was illegal. This is legal because it's a "Membership". The savings that they offer can also be found on other sites for free. Do not join unless you want to ask your friends and family for two thousand dollars to get you out of the debt. |

My co workers think I am crazy, my family is angry with me and my wife is VERY disappointed in my decision with our money. Dear Scott, This is what the rep told me that he saved from sticker price on his car. I was also told I would save greatly on everything from food to toilet paper. Further, my family of 6 could save enough on groceries and household items to make up the 2200 THE FIRST YEAR!!! WAS NOT TRUE!
You people have been brainwashed to push everything including overpriced vitamins on autoship. Hello, they are 5 bucks at Wal Mart, not 30 bucks. Save me money on my electricity, gas, water, etc!!! Not overpriced items and overpriced stores I do not shop at anyway. Asking family and friends to do this is HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING!!! |

This was all really entertaining. I am in no way interested in any MLM ie: TN. The only reason I google it was because I heard my 2nd fathers daughter (step-sister, a TNer) asked about my grandmothers health. My grand mother is in the hospital in a far away state from me, sadly the wretch (TN Member) lives closer to her then me. I have not considered her family sense my grand fathers death 3 years ago. At the funeral She & her husband who were in no way close to my grand parents keep asking questions like: who is this cousin & where dose this one live etc. I did not think much about it at the time until after they left, when my closest cousins asked are you involved in that scam with them? She must have known better then to pitch it to me as I had made my parents aware of my total disinterest when they (parents) made the mistake of becoming involved. Any way apparently she & the hubby had been going to my family's functions for years & pitching this crap at every thing from my grandparents 50th anniversary to my cousins b-day. They made my family members sit through the dvds & listen to other people on the phone & all of what sounds like the standard crap. My own family would hardly talk to me at my grandpa's funeral until after they left for fear I was part of TN. I told my parents that if they ever came to my family functions again to pitch that CRAP she and my parents would have to answer to me. So because I make no effort to speak to her (we just pretend to be nice when we visit our parents at the same time) - my question for the people who are are in TN is why in the world would you want to alienate your family (even step - family) like that? How in the world can any amount of money be worth that? |

All of these negative post, are not getting it.previous poster says( if you can't talk salesman in to giving you $2,000 off vehicle your stupid. Well let me clarify something. the discount you keep saying anybody can get is in between msrp and dealer invoice. so that is really not a discount, that is cushion room for people like you to think your getting a good deal.
The Real discounts that most can receive from joining TN on autos start out at dealer invoice and go down from there . so tn would get you through that sames salesperson. example
25,000 msrp
23,000 dealer invoice
-3,000 dealer rebates
= 20,000 a saving of 5,000 from MSRP or 3,000 from dealer invoice, which ever way you want to look at it.
remember you own your own are always haggling between msrp and dealer invoice.
you negative people make me proud to be a positive influence on people's lifes. Thinking negative about someone trying to help you better your life.
Society has brainwash you into thinking this way of life will never change. So who has really been drinking the famous poison koolaid. Media and Big government and regulators, have poison you minds. |

It's not that we do not want to work and want to complain. There are very little savings. The choices were limited and you can go to Wal Mart and pay the same prices. There was a catch to the savings. One rep said he saved 1500 on a new car. Well if you can't talk a sales person down 1500 off sticker without Team National then you're stupid. Who would ever go to friends and family and ask them to spend 2 thousand dollars and the only way to get it back is to force a few more to do the same. The savings were NOT THERE!!! I have read many complaints that most people do not make money with Team National. Well, I got news for you. Most people fail at anything they do. I owned a traditional business for 20 years. I had one sales person that earned over $200K a year for over eight years while most of my sales people earned under $50K per year. Did that make it a bad company. Of course not! It just confirmed that most people are unwilling to do what is necessary to earn six figures. It is eaiser to get on the Internet and bitch about how bad those people are that do earn it. |

I'm in TN and I'm completely satisfied with it.
So many ppl don't want to take the time to do the research. I was talking to a guy the other day and he was basically telling me it was scam. I was very thankful for his wisdom, especially since we used to lift weights together and I would have to tell him what to put on the bar to come up with a given weight. :-)
Please take the time to become educated (which takes time) before ranting. I read some ppl's comments and I have to just laugh. Anyone with the ability to reason should be able to tell that they are untrue. |

Go to BBB and read complaints! The company offers a 3 day right of rescission. We exercised our 3 day right and they refused to remove it from our credit card. Had to hire an attorney and threaten to sue them. They finally removed it!!! $2295.00. We were still out attorney fees and interest!
Their excuse for not honoring it? The company stated we did not contact them to exercise the 3 day right. We had phone records and dispute form from our credit card company that stated different!!! |

I have a problem with people that think these are pyramid schemes and that only those on top profit. Virtually every way you or I recieve money comes from other people. The government is printing fiat or counterfeit currency and sending out checks that 10 generations down can't pay for. Social NON Security is around 5 TRILLION dollars in the red.Do you know that 96% of the people only earn 1% of the money earned. MLM is a way out to keep people from having to work flipping burgers into their eighties or being a door greeter at Wally's.
People ask if there is savings on furniture. TN has prices available to view on their or any IMD's website now both as suggested retail and a non member price. If you want to see the Member price sit down with an IMD that will show you THAT price. There are lots of prejudiced idiots that knock it before they look. The furniture is excellent, you could go to a convention and look at it or to Team National's Little Rock, Ark. showroom. I have a friend that got in and said he wouldn't be able to save money but he saved $3200.00 a year on health and car insurance and never moved his car insurance. His car ins. agent HATES this company cause it cuts into
HIS huge profit he was annually reaping from the insurance pyramid scheme. The friends health insurance policy is a far better policy with lower deductible. MLM, you only lose if you snooze. The reason it is impossible to run out of people is because quitters sign up few or nobody. "Google Genius" opinions make a lot of people give up or never look. As for you "Kids" that got in free, If I was your parents,I would place people below you on both sides and if you don't want to sign up 2 to get that money the company will give it to your parents. This does not happen at your day jobs. |
Jay Colorado | 7:41pm on Saturday, May 9th, 2009 |
I been in Team National for two and a half years. At first I signed up a lot of people but now I have slowed down not because there is anything wrong with the company but because I pick and choose who I even show it to. If you want to mess up a lot of good people in a given area make the mistake of signing up a person that has scam tattooed on their forehead. Most people you try to help with this tremendous company have it tatooed IN their forehead to start as far as they are concerned about any MLM. I have been in some bad MLM companies but this is not one. This is actually the cheapest you can join. As Dave from New Mexico said you can pay $395.00 on your credit card and finance the 2 year package in 5 equal payments of $83.64 then if you want the "lifetime" package you have 60 days to pay $100.00 and upgrade this with 20 payments of $75.72. IF "you are made of the right stuff" you can get busy and pay this off with money made from working the business.
Anybody that can't save more than they spent for a membership is NOT looking at the website before they spend money. I been guilty of this myself with nobody to blame but me.
If they would let me buy in again and start another leg of business in here I would but I don't need to cause when you get promoted from working they GIVE you another leg of business.
This is in my opinion the greatest MLM available today. I love Team National. |
Dave New Mexico | 5:22pm on Friday, May 8th, 2009 |
I heard about this from a friend and finally went and looked at it. I wish I had looked at it when I still had a job and could afford the Premium package outright. As it is I found out I could finance this on my credit card with $395.00 down and 5 monthly payments of 80 something dollars.
I am more interested in the earnings cause I can't afford to buy much now. The guy that showed it to me is doing well with this cause he is working it.He is also good at lots of other money ideas he is doing and is a really straight forward honest kind of guy.As for the church people that doesnt mean there honest or not cause I been cheated by so called church people before.
The friend says he has met these company people and that they are real nice folks. They arereal Christians instead of wanna be take advantage ones.
I am going to try cause right now there is not much going for me. If Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump like good mlm companies its worth a try. |

TN members,
You're all doing a great job promoting our company. Please try to include our Chrisian values in your testimonials. We feel we can more effectively penatrate the church market if we let folks know about our Christian principals. Also, please spread our story to all of your co-workers, church patrons, neighbors, etc. We suggest talking to our store participants and setting up tables outside their establishments to further new recruit sign-ups. Also, look towards recruiting college students, and folks just getting their tax returns.
And finally, please try to use words like: satisfied, happy, and fulfilled in your testimonials.
Remember, the more posts we can include in this and other sites like it, the more likely we'll be able to counteract those who may have had negative experiences with our program. We suggest you insert several posts with lots of positive input and experiences. |

I had this lady that went to my church and she never really even showed any interest in me then one day she and her husband called me to tell me about this product or business and it was about a company called Team National I agreed to go with them to one of their "great"info meetings and at the end of the night I said I still was not interested I never heard from them again. I also had a "friend" or I thought she was a friend and when I wasn't buying into this great product that I am going to miss out on well let's just say she has wiped me from her slate also. I don't know what they teach but I would like to know how many other people have been hurt and dumped by friends because they didn't buy into this Not Pyramid Scam but a Pyramid Scam. I wonder if they have made their millions yet? I go past their little Jack in the box houses and they still live there so I guess losing their friends for a company that is based on scams and ripping their own Friends and family off is worth it! |

I have been a member for over 2 years. This is a great company only limited by the people that join. The management and top people involved have only the very best intentions of helping us succeed. Success depends on the effort we each put into what we do. EVERY TIME THEY CHANGE ANYTHING IT HAS BEEN FOR THE FINANCIAL GOOD OF THE IMD or PAID MEMBER. IT is FREE to become an IMD and market the savings package if you think YOU can SELL what you won't INVEST IN. WE immediately INVESTED $2195.00 for a PREMIUM BENEFITS PACKAGE, INVESTED $75.00 for the website, and subscribed to the MOTIVATIONAL info. THIS IS IMPORTANT if you want to EARN money.
WE attended everything possible to LEARN all we could about the company because THIS IS IMPORTANT to MAKE and SAVE money. The REASONS people fail at this are THEY HAVE NO DRIVE, THEY REFUSE TO TRY, THEY REFUSE TO LEARN, THEY WON'T READ, THEY WON'T ATTEND MEETINGS, THEY ARE NOT TEAM PLAYERS, basically why people fail at anything. I have been self employeed all my life and KNOW that success takes WORK. "A dream floats on SWEAT!"
I have NO family in this even though both my wife and I have LOTS of relatives. I don't need them and none of them wanted in EARLY when it was BEST for THEM to make MORE from MY work. WE bought a $2195.00 package and DONATED it to a charitible cause and they made $1685.00 for doing NOTHING. THEY COULD make more but SCEPTICISM and THE INTERNET so called research B.S. ABOUNDING hurts their success. WE bought a $795.00 two year package and donated it to a physically handicapped friend WITH A TRUE NEED and he is working but "INTERNET EXPERTS" are also hurting his efforts.
The limits to TEAM NATIONAL are between your EARS. I have made many times what it cost and SAVED thousands for myself and others that are not even trying to sign up anybody.I have even made money for LAZY downline trying to help them because of the neat way this payout is structured.
The ONLY thing I would do different was to sign up under a host that WORKS. The hardest thing about Team National is showing someone how EASY it is! |

Well, 'M', I'm sorry if you think my manners are not up to par and I will pass on your disappointment along to my mother. Although I may have been a bit... abrasive to Sue, I think my harsh words are still far higher up on the moral food chain than taking upwards of 2K from someone’s savings that you know darn well is not going to make it in the company. Funny thing, my mother did teach me that stealing is wrong...
It is also funny that you mention Excel. That was the original MLM that I 'worked' for. They sold an inferior product and built their empire on the guilt of friends and family of their members. You cannot honestly say that was a good company. Especially when they went bankrupt, leaving thousands of employees jobless in the blink of an eye. Of course the people at the top (let's just use your pops as example since he was so good in Excel) walked away with a crap load of everyone else's money! It seems odd that once again the people at the top of the 'pyramid' made the money and everyone else got the shaft... that is MLM at its finest.
And for the record, flipping houses is a far different opportunity than asking grandma to shop online. Don't compare the two; no one in their right mind thinks they are even remotely the same.
Perhaps you should have kept scrolling and seen my original post where I said that MLMs can make people money but there are better ways. I was not on this website to knock the company but simply give an opinion that I wish someone would have given me before I dumped money and about a lot of time into Excel. However, to hear people like Sue state that if we haven’t watched a DVD we can't have an opinion about a company drives me crazy. My goal is not to keep people from joining your company but to at least make them realize that this may not be the answer to all of their financial problems and to realize what they are getting into before they drop a hefty chunk of change.
One last thing; I don't need to know the 'ins and outs' of lets say Enron or the Bernie Madolf scheme to know it's a bad place to put my money...
Okay, last thing again. In the spirit of 'fairness' I have used a 5-star rating to offset my last rating of 1 as that was an accident. |

I'd like to know how many TN reps actually use the business exchange directory when needing a service provider? |
M Ga | 2:48pm on Wednesday, April 1st, 2009 |
Well Dave from MN, I am going to disagree with you on your assumtion that you know the ins and outs of a company when all you have done is read forums and other "research" on the internet. MLMs are a great way to make money for those you know how to do them and use them to their advantage. Excel began as an MLM, are you going to tell me the Excel was not a great opportunity for over a hundred thousand representatives? My father being on of the Excel reps made some good money with the company and the the "CEO", if thats what you want to call the head of the company, sold all of Excel's customers to another service provider and left. He now runs another MLM, at least one anyways. I will have to say that you were a jerk in the way you came across to the Team National rep Susan. What is I got on every forum I found and dogged the company you worked for? Especially when I have never met you nor have I any valuable information about your company. That is disrespectful and I am sorry your mother did not teach you better manners.
For the rest of those reading this forum, Team National is a good company and IF you work it correctly there is NO doubt is can not only save you money but you can make some money as well. But it is just like flipping houses, to some flipping houses is the best financial opportunity in the world, but to most it isn't. Not because they can't do it, but because they don't want to or don't have the resources. But being a jerk about someone's positive outlook on a company that some have put a negative spin on is unprofessional and that is the bottom line. |

My parents got into this bullsh*t a couple of years ago. I have never had issues with them - not the usual teen/parent relationship, until this. I'm 24 and I hate visiting my parents because it is all they do. I made my mom cry the last time because she wanted me to go to one of their convention thingies, and I told her I was sick of being pressured!
From the beginning I have questioned this, and my mom has pressured me on it (not on purpose/knowingly), and when they visited me out in Seattle, she brought the kit with her, made me watch the dvd (we argued afterwards) and signed me up (when I didn't want to). I hate what this has done to my parents, and especially to our relationship. They are blinded by all of the people that have made millions off of this thing. The meeting was creepy. Like some cult.
If it seems to good to be true, it probably is. Isn't that what you always told me when I was growing up? Wake up, mom. Please. |

Whether it's a scam or not I don't know, I just knew it wasn't for me and I also knew I would never be able to get my friends and family to buy into this when I didn't see the value. Maybe if you're rich to begin with and make huge purchases every week but I don't.The Team National rep has called me 3 times in the last 3 years to get me to join. He told me the first time it wasn't for everyone, when I told him it wasn't for me he got rude. The last time he called I told him I found a home business I was happy with. He criticized my business and really got nasty. Then started to send me nasty emails about MY bad attitude, etc. I had to block his emails. If he was making as much money as he claimed then why was he soooo pushy. |
Sue Eason Brandon, MS | 11:57am on Friday, March 27th, 2009 |
Clarification on the definition of an MLM and why I say Team National does not fall into that category. Wikipedia's definition includes this paragraph:
"Independent, unsalaried salespeople of multi-level marketing, referred to as distributors (or associates, independent business owners, dealers, franchise owners, sales consultants, consultants, independent agents, etc.), represent the parent company and are awarded a commission based upon the volume of product sold through each of their independent businesses (organizations)."
We do not have to sell any products to make money in Team National. Therefore, we do not fit the description of an MLM.
There are six different ways to make money with Team National, as well as numerous ways to save money. If you do not know what these six ways are, you cannot claim to understand this amazing company. I suggest anyone who is curious find out what they are before making a decision; that's all I'm saying. |
Anita Arkansas | 10:35am on Tuesday, March 24th, 2009 |
If you are reading this, you are either a satisfied Team National member who wants to see what is being said about the company, a person using this as a way to promote your own business (shame on you), a disgruntled individual who unfortunately had a bad experience, or you are researching to see if it is legitimate.
It is what it is and not for everyone. It is part of the fasting growing business in America. Is it the only one? No, but Team National members believe it is the best one. Check out the comp plan! Others believe they have the best. There is potential for income in all direct sales and network marketing programs. You will get out of it what you put into it.
When I hear someone tell me they are in a different program, I say great. Good luck. It is an awesome industry! It is not for everyone but don't be one that takes away someone else's dream just because it did not work for you.
To say that the ones who are making the most in Team National got in early is misleading. The ones that have worked the hardest are making the most money! Case in point; two individuals that I personally know, signed up the very same day over ten years ago. Both had marketing experience. One is the top producer, his good friend is still at the first level. I am at a higher level and have made more money than the person who introduced me and is positioned above me. Is that a pyramid? Can't be. I am a teacher, I have been in this company for eight years approaching the second level. I met a teacher who joined less than three years ago now at the top level making huge money, house paid off, traveling, living a dream life. Why is she making more money than me and I have been in much longer? We have the same background. We have the same opportunity. She worked harder. Pyramid? No way! Desire and commitment.
It is an awesome company. I have saved in many areas. Do all of the benefits work for all of the people all of the time? No. I have never benefited from the insurance service. My school covers half. Others have had huge savings. I can't benefit from eyeglasses, my employer covers that too. But I did help my daughter save over $400.00 on eye glasses. She had no eye care benefit. There is plenty of savings to justify a life time membership. I saved over $1200.00 on furniture. Will that be my last furniture purchase for life? Well , no. So one more time and my money is back. Actually I have gotten my initial investment back many times over by using several other benefits that did work for me. Then I consider the thousands I have made and will make, I know it is a good deal.
I can promise you this, there are way more satisfied customers than not. There are way more people (who have actually put some time into it) that have made money than not. Too many families are being blessed by Team National. There are always going to be a people who disagree or have a negative attitude about anything in life. Don’t let that stop you from going for your dreams.
The bottom line is, get all of the real facts. Make your own informed decision. If it is not for you, great! If it is for you, great! Good luck in whatever vehicle you decide to drive. |

I have been with team national all of 3 weeks and so far very impressed with the company. I WAS NEVER PRESSURED TO JOIN THE COMPANY BUT SAW REAL VALUE IN IT. IT IS NOT A SCAM. HAS ANYONE READING THIS EVER JOINED A HEALTH CLUB. IF SO YOU PAY ANYWHERE FROM $400- $600 DOLLARS PER YEAR. COULD YOU HAVE FOUND ANOTHER WAY TO GET FIT OR LOSE WEIGHT?MAYBE, MAYBE NOT BUT YOU FOUND VALUE IN IT.IF A LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP WAS AVAILABLE YOU PROBABLY WOULD BECAUSE YOU WILL PAY 2000.00 IN LESS THAN 4 YEARS TIME. WITH TEAM NATIONAL IT IS A BIT LIKE THAT HEALTH CLUB, YOU WILL GET OUT OF IT WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PUT INTO IT.BUT IN NO WAY IS THAT HEALTH CLUB GOING TO SAVE YOU ANY MONEY WITH TEAM NATIONAL THATS THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN.I ALSO SHARE THIS WITH MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND HAVENT LOST A FAMILY MEMBER OR A FRIEND YET. |

Sue,
You cannot lie about a company straight out and then expect people to fall in line. You start by saying:
"1. Team National is NOT an MLM. It has the most profitable compensation plan in the industry."
That is a lie. It is an MLM; even if it is structured slightly differently. This reminds me of the old saying, 'you can pour syrup on dog poop but that doesn't make it pancakes.' In fact, your comment alone contradicts itself. If it is not an MLM, which industry are you comparing it against? My guess is you are comparing it against other MLM companies. Also, read your fellow team member's comments. They have no problem calling it an MLM...
Next you wrote:
"2. Any rep who knows what they are doing will show a DVD which explains the program. If you haven't seen the DVD, you don't understand the program and therefore should not comment."
Really...? This is your argument!? If I have done all the research I can online, talked to multiple people in the company, even listened to the presentation, that doesn't qualify me to even give my OPINION because I didn't watch the DVD? I think that is simply an easy way to silence the people that oppose the company. Additionally, what if I have watched the DVD and still think this is just another MLM, can I comment negatively then? My guess is you would tell me that I need to give it a chance. Here's the thing, this forum has many people who did give it a chance and are still against it! Can they talk or do they need to watch a DVD first?
Your next two points were:
"3. Any rep (Independent Marketing Director in Team National language) who misrepresents anything should be reported to the home office of National Companies in Davies, Florida since the company has stated this will not be tolerated.
4. Team National is a member of the Direct Selling Association which only accepts member companies that operate by high ethical standards."
These are valid points and I have no issues with them. However, I have a question about your next point:
"If you don't want to join, don't join, but please do ot get online and talk about something you know nothing about. I am a member and I believe Team National is the best financial opportunity most people will ever have. Please get all of the information before making a decision about anything!!!"
I do not question that you are a member but I do question your success and the general success of all the reps. After all of my research I have not seen more than a small (very small) handful of people who have made enough money to call this a reliable source of income. In fact, most people who are pro team national are brand new in the business (see the comments below and you will see it)! Most of them say things like "I see a lot of potential" or "this is a great way for me to make/save money" They do not have a track record that can support their claims of "Team National is the best financial opportunity most people will ever have." This is merely the repetitive garbage that their 'upline' has been feeding them while trying to get them to recruit their friends and family. None of them have made money and even the few that have, have just made a little more than the 2K it cost them to get into the company!
IF, if I am wrong and you are making six figures a year... I apologize. However, IF this is the case, you know darn well that many more people fail at your company than make it and you have seen it first hand.
I'm not trying to be a jerk here but don't come on this forum and tell me how great this company is and how ignorant I am because I have not watched a DVD... |

I cannot tell you how many times I have been contacted by the same team national rep over the last 4 years, talk about harassment, and the funniest part is she was a friend of a friend 30 years ago from high school, so she literally found her victims going 30 years back and tracked not only her friends from high school down but also her friends friends. No thanks I'll pass on team stalker! |

It is killing me to read some of these crazy comments on here. One person, J. Runty, OK...says that it is "unethical" to take peoples money for their own benefit or to "get rich". Hmmmm....if that's so, then your local barber, local grocery store, local hardware store, local restaurant, local pet store, local sales company of any kind or any other business that is open for business is "unethical". Why do people open their own business? Is it to make money and hopefully have financial security? Or, do they get into business to lose money and give things away to people like J. Runty? I bet J. Runty, or anyone else for that matter, doesn't work for free and don't consider it "unethical" to get paid. What kind of idiot thinks that doing something to make money is "unethical" (unless it is illegal of course)when there are hundreds of thousands of satisfied Team National Members that are really saving thousands of dollars on things and then recommending that savings to others? Who out there has never network marketed before? Really? Do you even get the concept of network marketing? I bet you do it almost every day and don't even realize it. Have you ever bought a new coat or pair of shoes or sports equipment or anything else that you were totally satisfied with and someone asked you about it and you said that it was great and told them where to get one for their own? If so, guess what? You were network marketing...it's called word of mouth, and it's been used since the beginning of time. |

Please do me a favor and read ALL of the comments. You will see a trend. All the people that are against the company, even new members, don't really know what is going on. They don't understand the company at all. Maybe the person that showed it to them didn't do a very good job of explaining it...i don't know. I just see that they don't have any real evidence against the company. They all basically say the same thing "it's a scam".
The one's that like the company are backing it up with facts. They USE the benefits, which in turn saves them money. I am a new Team National Member and I can already see great potential with the company. I am fortunate to have a great "team" that is helping me. My friend that showed it to me has already saved quite abit of money and has started making some money. That's what sold me on the idea. The savings are great and I'll save more than I paid and that's great, but I wouldn't have done it if I hadn't seen it working for a friend.
Do me a favor, don't base your decision on forums like this. Do some research. Let someone show you the company and watch the DVD, but also look the company up with the organizations that they are a member of like: U.S. Chamber of Commerce, DSA, Dunns & Bradstreet and the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Florida.
You will save more money than you spend on a membership IF you use it. And who knows what the future holds. You may need to make money somewhere down the line and I know that you will not have a problem selling memberships if you've used it and have saved money. |

Just came from a presentation. They spent hours talking about how much money we would make. I kept asking and asking to see what I would actually be selling to people to make all of this money and was shown nothing. I finally chose one thing . . the restaurant discount . . and demanded an example of the savings my customers would receive. Five obscure restaurants came up where I had to buy a coupon. That coupon had restrictions and was NOT same as cash. What a joke. This is a giant version of that stupid coupon book your kids sell you every year for twenty bucks. You know . . the one you use the McDonalds coupon from and then throw the rest out a year later. Don't fall for this. 95% of their presentation is showing you a pyramid, then saying it's not a pyramid (he even said this as he drew a pyramid in front of us). He claimed to have 800 people under him in the "non-pyramid" yet he drove up in a 15 year old crappy car wearing a cheap watch. Red flags abound. Steer clear! |

My wife and I joined yesterday, We are about retirement age. We decided to look at the future now,and the way our 410k is loosing money right now,to us it don't look promising. We figured to give it a whirl for a small investment,We have a chance to try to make our retirement years more fulfilling. With a little hard work and elbow grease we will. p.s. and the saving on alot of products along the way will be great. |
