Tafiti Consulting Review

Is Tafiti Consulting a Scam...?

Tafiti Consulting (www.gotafiti.com) is a high-end ecommerce coaching and business development company out of Utah.  They specialize in individual training for entrepreneurs looking to start a fully functional online business.

Tafiti Consulting makes a lot of promises to potential clients and the reps will assure you that after purchasing their consulting package you'll be privy to outstanding customer service, easy to follow technical support, and the best available training methods.

When you think about it, it's not hard to see why they go out of their way to assure you peace of mind.  Their services will run you a whopping $5,000 - $12,000 with potential for additional fees along the way.  Now you can see why they tell you that you're sure to be making money before the first credit card bill comes in.

How Did Tafiti Get Your Number and Why the Range of Cost for Their Services...?

The way that companies like Tafiti Consulting operate is by partnering with various make money online programs i.e. (Angel Stevens/Penbrook Rebate Processing).  When you sign up for one of these offers you'll see something in the "bonus" materials that promises you a free 1hr consultation call with a work at home business professional.

In reality Tafiti Consulting is paying the creator of the product for their customers' contact information.  So the only consulting going on is on behalf of Tafiti's expensive products.  The business professional promised to boost your income is really a Tafiti sales rep.  This is also why they often start the conversation asking how well you're doing with the original product you purchased.

Finally, the reason why many people pay different amounts for the program is because Tafiti sales reps are skilled in extracting financial information from their targets.  Once they know your household income and credit card spending limit they make you the highest affordable offer, and are then willing to negotiate down if you're unreceptive.

So is the Tafiti Consulting Business Setup a Scam or Not....?

Once you get past the hard sell approach and the high cost of their services most people want to know if they can actually make money with Tafiti's ecommerce business, after all if you can actually make money then you can look past the rest.

Unfortunately when doing my research on Tafiti Consulting I came across tons of complaints from their customers.  The disappointment covered everything from poor customer service to low quality of the training videos and an overall impression that they did not get their money's worth.

The truth is that Tafiti's services are insanely overpriced and their ecommerce website package does not deliver.  If you take the time to do your research you can find a better website builder for a fraction of the cost and a wholesaler that actually carries quality products for you to sell.

There Main Red Flags for Tafiti Consulting...

1.  Aggressive, rude, and harassing sales calls inquiring about personal financial information...

2.  The company is headquartered in Utah - A notoriously hospitable state for unethical and border-line illegal companies...

3.  Limited 3 day cancelation period - Something most folks find out when it's already too late...

I would recommend avoiding Tafiti Consulting for these reasons and basically due to the overall negativity associated with this company and its major partners.

I got the call after looking for a quick buck online and signing up for a "quick cash from craigslist" info package. A very upbeat, informative guy made his sales pitch and life altering opportunity and said using OPM (other people's money) was the way to make it in this world, though they asked for my credit limits and asked for an amount to join based on this amount. I reluctantly gave my credit information to the credit department, but thinking this was too good to be true, then said No when they asked to confirm a $2500 USD amount... I was then called back from the same sales guy, who was very manipulative, and me being a desperate pushover, was then referred back to the credit department. I gave them the wrong expiry date this time around. Three days later, I was charged over $3000 CAD. I tried to make my story, giving them the wrong information, they said no refund because "I agreed to the membership".
I looked over their website, and it sucks! Any computer literate or at home business beginner already knows the crap they are pitching!

While it's true that Tafiti charges based on what their customer can afford, I find that really makes great sense. Having to pay incites people to succeed - if they were less expensive, the buyer would not be as motivated to perform. THIS is where people are getting upset - Performance. And frankly, if you don't do the work - and starting a web based business is WORK, then you won't succeed. The folks at Tafiti make it very clear that without spending time every day on your business, it's not going to perform.
Tafiti provides everything needed to get a web business up and running. They have tons of training materials in an easy to get to location, they have people available to answer questions with GOOD answers and hosting prices are very reasonable - especially when considering how powerful their site builder tool is compared to the other guys.
Tafiti does not provide a method to 'get rich quick'. They facilitate an entrepreneurs' ability to get a web based business up and running in a way that's timely and understandable for someone who is relatively new to internet business.
I am totally happy with Tafiti and would recommend them to anyone who has the stuff to be in business for themselves. But Tafiti isn't for everyone and those of you out there that have failed to make money with other purchased programs (such as materials on how to buy and sell forclosure real estate for example) should really think hard before buying into Tafiti or any other similar program. If you DO buy into Tafiti, make absolutely certain that you can dedicate yourself to making a serious effort to get your business going. It will be YOUR business not Tafiti's and it will live or die based on what you do with it.

I gave Tafiti a poor rating for one reason; their sales pitch, or what they offer conflicts with what they actually do. I have been in business for 25 years. I own three companies, and I managed a division of a fortune 100 business for 15 years. I recently sold some of the business and having more free time, I went looking for something that I could do from home. When I originally spoke with Tafiti, I was told like others that they would "walk me through their process" of setting up a web drop ship, or affiliate business. They also said that by spending more money upfront, I would get their "premium package" which would allow me to build multiple web sites, 15 to 20 web sites because I wanted to generate revenue from 300 to 500K a year. Having no experience in designing a web site, I explained to them, that I was capable of organizing all of the business aspects of this process, but I would be completely at their mercy in developing the actual web sites, logos, artwork et. I was assured by Tafiti that two of their people would mentor me, a design / technical person, and a business mentor, who would consult with me over the legal, and procedural requirements of setting up, and running a web based business.
After I got started, I actually did have two mentors, for about one or two weeks. My design mentor, Kevin actually did work on my web site . He set up all of the basic information that I provided him. He told me that he would work on my logo after I gave him some direction of what I was looking for. I am sure that with a little research, it can be proven that Tafiti, not me did the work on my site, not me The web site is still there, the way that Kevin left it. After a few weeks, Kevin had stopped calling me and I found out that he left the company, and I was told that I would get a replacement within a week, which never happened. My business mentor or consultant called me and told me that he would be the only person working with me from now on, and that he wasn't there to actually do any of the work for me, only to consult with me, on how to learn how to do it using their tutorials. I think it was at this time that I realized I was being taken
Being a self starter, I decided to try and follow their advice, and I listened to all of their tutorials, and I followed all of their outlines, and worksheets. I did this for about four to six weeks, and I made very little progress. My mentor told me that I needed to call them when I got stuck. Well I did do this, but I found that when I did call them for support, including my mentor, they were aggressive and rude, but more important, I didn't understand them. When they would explain a problem, or a process to me, it was like listening to a foreign language.
I decided to hire a consultant to help me work with Tafiti. I had spent a lot of money, and I did a lot of research up to this point, and I was determined to get this starter business off the ground. Needless to say, this didn't really work either, however, I was able to develop a web site with the consultant that I hired, and for a lot less money.
It's a shame that the Tafiti program didn't work. It's a great concept, and it appears that they did put some time into the tapes, and the outlines, and worksheets, and they had a number of people making an attempt to consult for them. Most of the time, they were diligent about calling me, at my scheduled time to meet. We just didn't have anything to talk about when they called.
In summary, I agree with most of the complaints I read here. I think that Tafiti could be a great program for an eager person to build a home base drop ship business. There really is a market for more of these sites to be developed. They just couldn't figure out how to deliver the product to me. It's not easy to go to school over the phone for 10 minutes a week, and it's even harder to do it by listening to a bunch tapes without any visuals.
There is a big difference in knowing how to design your own web site, than teaching it to someone else.
There is an old saying, let the buyer beware, and there is another saying take responsibility for your actions. Tafiti needs to accept that they blew it! There are way too many people here saying the same thing. They were promised all kinds of help, but the help never showed.

I agree with what everyone else says, this company is a total rip off.I have been with them for 8 months, and have only made 48.00 this doesn't even come close to what they say I should have made according to their sales pitch. If you can get threw to them they will be no help at all and it's your fault.Once you have put in too much time and money to back out you will never hear from them again unless you contact them, and then they just give you a run around and you end the conversation more confused then ever.I can go on and on how bad they are but I just don't have enough time.STAY AWAY!

They have thus far scammed me out of over $10,000. They are scam artists no doubt about it! Do not get involved with them. I am going to be writing 60 Minutes and 20/20 and see if either of them are interested in doing a story on these scumbags and others like them. I also reported them to BBB and Chamber of Commerce of Provo Utah. Please do the same all of you so we can put these guys out of business and look into a class action lawsuit. They can be sued because they haven't followed thru with promises. Anybody onboard for this? They are continuing to charge my cards even though I canceled and changed card #s. We need to get them now! April 10,2009

After $2400.00 invested we have been absolutely run in circles by these smooth talking monsters. Out of the blue we suddenly have accounts being hacked and I spend about 30 hours a week trying to make this work and so far it has only been a black hole that drains time and money and stress. An absolute nightmare ....STAY FAR AWAY !!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT. I was told how great this would be as others have been. I foolishly gave information on credit card amount available too. When the first call coach call came I was in one day after the signing, and I had noticed the 3 day get out waver. The coach gave me an address and a password which got me to their website. She talked the whole time about the different phases of the program and then gave an assignment to a part of the program and then brainstorming. I received an email with a name and password. I went to the site and found a note "error on Page". After several tries to no avail, I contacted Technical support. They emailed a set of instructions to delete browsing history, cookies and temp. internet files. A link to download Adobe, which I already had, restart, download Shockwaveflash, restart computer and go to their website again. Same results.ERROR ON PAGE. I tried the whole sequence again. Same result. ERROR ON PAGE: On Friday I called Tech support again. Another email with same to do information. I tried again the whole process, twice. Same result. ERROR ON PAGE> By this time I had decided they were blocking me from the page for some reason, then I remembered I was going past the 3 day out. I called my Credit Card Company and ordered my account not to pay tafiti, for by now I knew it to be a scam. I tried to call Nick Pepelar at his private number at about 11 AM. No answer. I have not tried anymore to get to the training site. I want nothing to do with this company. If any of the people working for this company, and enticing some of us dumb but trying to be honest folk, are LDS, shame on you and be sure in your next interview with your Bishop to question your own honesty in your dealings with your fellow man.

they told me that I had 72hours to change my mind.
I changed it the very next day. When I notified them that I had changed my mind, they told me that I had to pay a $1,500 processing fee. When I reported them to the BBB, they threatened to ruin my credit.

As previously mentioned Angel Stevens sold my contact info to Tafiti Consulting. I received a very high pressure phone from Dean Walker the end of January 2009 asking me what my credit limit on my accounts was and what my goals were for my business. I found their sales people @ the time rude & very persuasive. I was referred to scheduling with a Bryce Robinson for mentoring. I received 1 call from Bryce & 1 email about possible website ideas. Future appointments were either not on time & therefore I was away from the phone or not kept @ all. After I sent an email complaining about poor service & requesting a new mentor, I was referred to a Matt Rowelyn. He didn't seem to know what was going on & communicated to me the it looked like Bryce was handling my file.
Next I got a call from a Travis Merriweather telling me Dean Walker was on a 2 month cruise & he was going to personally that care of my file & get me the proper support team in place.
Overall these people can only offer a complete snowjob to their clients. Do not signup with Tafiti Consulting or MOMENTUM MARKETING. You will be scammed for all you have left to give. Your info will also be sold to a company called the Tax Club who will again ask you questions about your credit standing & advise you to setup a legal entity to protect yourself should this venture fail. The way that Tafiti guaratees your business will pay you back your initial investment is by setting you up as a legal entity so you can go bankrupt. This is not good business ethics & should be avoided.
Good luck.

I signed up on Saturday for Myproductcenter, one of Ray Puntas links. On Monday I spoke with a rep and my $49.95 start up went to $166.00. After speaking with the rep, it was now $1000.00. Mr. Punta himself called and all he wanted was money, $15,000.00. He did not even want to talk without the money. As soon as I hung up I tried to cancel and get a refund...what a nightmare. After 2 days and several hours on the phone with banks and their customer service (they conveniently lost my account information), I still don't know if I am refunded. Luckly I stopped at $166.00. STAY AWAY from this scam. Any problems try Ray Punta direct line 800-893-9314 ex. 4318

this was a dreadful experience. Pushy, yes they were very pushy - made you feel as though you had wasted their time - when in fact it was totally the other way around. your "coach" is hardly available for you, as they are the coach for countless numbers of others. they sell the product, telling you that customer service is available - with just a phone call, but in reality, you have to have an appointment, and they are not easy to get. I had to wait for days, which dampened my enthusiasm. Spent way too much money for something I could have done on my own. shame on me.

While Tafiti Consulting does charge premium fees for their training and web builder program, I found that they provided a wealth of very valuable information. If I had spend the time to do my own research for this information and the money involved with the trial & error method of sourcing products, web building and marketing, I would have spent much more time and probably lost more money than I paid to Tafiti to have all this information and resources in one convenient location.

Tafiti is taking advantage of people even if they change their mind the next day. Of course they charged for hosting a website witch never existed in the first place, and for services never provided and continue to charge my credit card for months. After my credit card went over the limit and of course I stopped the payment they frighten me to damage my credit if I do not pay the difference and I was contacted by the collection agency. They are rude and insensitive to the people they recruited and still want to collect the money. All that they want is your money and do nothing for it. Stay away from them.

In response to Kyle Morgan of Fort Meyers --- I did not expect a magic pill -- I put in over 30 hours a week and invested over $12,700 in Tafiti alone - never mind additional expenses along the way - that are not explained up front when asked - such as pay per click, logo design, etc. There were several issues that Tafiti couldn't handle - their program could not handle charges for overweight product and also from dropshippers from two different coasts - where the fees would be opposite. But of course, even though the suppliers were discussed in length - less than a week before opening the site I was told to eliminate half the product because the program isn't designed that way...and if I didn't want to do that - raise the price of the products so they won't sell --- this is in an email from them to me. They didn't tell me to do any marketing as I was setting up the site --- so once the site was up - major marketing had to be done (article writing) and that delayed sales too. When I complained about this - they had another upper manager look at my site, Ryan Grover - who said it was great and showed alot of work on it - and he told me to make some major changes on it - which were opposite of what my coach told me. So - I had to contact technical support - who told me these changes were impossible - that the program isn't written that way. That took a week for them to get back to me after talking to Ryan and tell me that those ideas won't work (like make the thumbnail pictures of my bikes bigger - so the client doesn't have to click on them) -

In the 14 weeks of initial coaching - I got about 15 minutes of one-on-one phone time a week --- then I was rushed off the phone as he had other appointments. From day one -- my calls were almost always one hour late - sometimes more - because he was told to take "greeting new customer" calls first. My time wasn't valuable and I sat for hours waiting. Procedures weren't stated. I didn't know about technical support for about 8 weeks into the program -- so I had to figure everything out myself between the 15 minute weekly calls. When I mentioned that to a manage r- I was told that I wasn't the only one that complained about that. The list goes on and on. I wish I had that magic pill - but I am a hard worker and worked as a comptroller for 30 years - and left to start a home based business. As I became more familiar with how it works - I saw many flaws and got less and less answers. But I do have emails telling me that they are sorry for the many problems I had that weren't my fault - and that I should be compensated. Well - it is months later - and no one ever calls to follow up or compensate me. This cost us over $16000 to date - since June, 2008 -- and has really hurt our family finances. They also suggested I go out and get a part time job in the meantime to help offset the costs until my sales are up... which is exactly the opposite of what Ray Punta told me -- that in 60-90 days it would pay for itself - and they would help me with that. Also - the SEO I paid almost $3000 for - took 3 months after the site was opened and was about 6 lines long. They appologized for that as well and told me they would have it redone. Then I got an email that another company they outsource this too will be doing it. It is now February - my site is opened for 6 months - I haven't heard a word. I am done. I am sure that if you sell one item with minimum options and have a niche market you will do fine - and probably would do fine even with another company who is considerably cheaper doing it for you and getting your site up quicker. Technical support did so many "special" things to my site to help it work - that I couldn't rebuild it myself or change it if I wanted too. This is not what it was about. All these complaints over the internet about Tafiti, Ridgecrest, Media Learner in the past 6 months can't all be wrong. In fact I spoke to a well-known TV news station today - and they want me to send them all my info - emails and details --- they are getting alot of complaints about these groups - and possibly will do a TV news story about them within a few months. I never thought or wanted to be a part of this - but Tafiti doesn't compensate even when they are wrong - and they use Ridgecrest to do the high cost pushy sale for them.

Maybe now you can understand this and appreciate where I am coming from.

This is a letter I sent via fax and email to Tafiti Consulting on February 4, 2009. I have put in more than the hours committed - and I have emails stating that from them and that there were numerous training issues and program issues that should have been addressed from the get go. I bought a high end program -- almost $13000 --- and I sell bicycles -- which are always a high seller - especially when gasoline was high. I have sold 5 bikes to date --- so many issues --- and my coaching ended 1 week after my site opened - and wasn't told that until the last coaching session. Poor advise and guidance from the get go --- then the marketing started - after the site was opened - and that is now only via email -- no personal contact. Mixed messages -- apology emails -- and no compensation on their part. The expenses afterward are horrible - and not having website experience from the get go - I asked about expenses and told there would be none but legal - that was such a lie. If you want to sell from the start - you have to pay for that. So here is the letter sent -- of course I received no reply - and it went to many people I dealt with there. I wish these scam groups had this listed when I started - I did check. But I see it all over now -- with Tafiti and their various names -- all after I signed up. Here is the letter I sent them -

Hi - I signed up with Tafiti thru Ridgecrest (Ray Punta) in June, 2008. I committed myself to 20 hours per week - and was swept away by a line of crap and a huge investment (almost $13,000) and believed in it. I put in my time - and had many issues that I brought to your attention as well as to my coaches over the months. Many of the issues were not my issues - and were either Builder issues or mis-information or lack of information. In emails I was told that compensation was due to me and I did receive apologies in emails due to all the problems. The SEO was disaster - and I paid almost $3000 for that and it took almost 3 months and was only a few lines long. I was told it was going to be redone - and then I received an email - around the holidays - that another company was taking that over and would do it. I have not heard from anyone to date.

Ridgecrest referred me and advised me to incorporate in Nevada -- tremendous tax savings and
$1400 later --- and there are no advantages - I live in NY -- the income still has to show on my return. They sent me things with my home address on it - which shouldn't be - and everytime I contacted them - they said it would be corrected - and nothing is corrected.. ANOTHER SCAM.. They said I would pay for my investment within 60-90 days --- another LIE!

I have paid thousands of dollars in finance charges on my investment - and tons of money for pay-per-click and article distribution - and I have had 5 sales to date - including sales for the holidays. So - my profit is less than $200.00. That doesn't cover my Tafiti builder fee and the banking fees and merchant charges and any pay per click for the month. My prices are great --- I have a blog, I have written articles, and I get nothing but tons of trash emails and no emails with orders. To contact the green team it has to be thru email - and I wait days and days for answers. There were shipping issues that the builder couldn't handle - and I lost about 9 sales up front due to them. So - finally - Dawnray came up with something - after Trevor got involved - but that was 3 months after the site was opened - and since it was done for me -- it leaves me in the dark if I want change. All the shipping is for bikes out of the west coast --- and there were overweight bikes with additional shipping that was finally figured out --- but if I take on a supplier from the east coast - everything changes - and I was told it was impossible - to "maybe we can figure something out when we have a chance", The supplier is not really supportive of any issues I have with anything - or giving me updated info - as I am not considered a viable account.

Over this weekend - I will be writing to Consumer affairs and every complaint group on the internet stating my case - and I will give them details and they can contact me for more info if needed. I have hundreds of emails that I can send them from Tafiti apologizing or stating that things cannot be done. I finally insisted on getting an invoice from Ridgecrest for my investment - and low and behold - Angela Stevens is on the top of it - which amazed me - because when I told both Scott and Ray Punta that I researched Angela Stevens as well an a few other home based business providers - and I felt they were a scam -- THEYAGREED!! Never once did they say that they were part of it --- and I had to beg for a bill months later --- and it was a handtyped bill - not on letterhead -- very unprofessional - yet I am supposed to use this as a tax deduction? Looks fake to me.

Since the holidays I have taken the time to personally call several other bicycle internet retailers - and after lengthly discussions - although holiday sales were down a bit -- they all did very well --- and my bikes were cheaper for the same product. But being told to start marketing AFTER the 14 week initial training course and after the site is open causes a lot of loss of time. Dave Smith and Trevor were very nice and helpful - especially Trevor - as he was more available and was there when I needed help the most --- but they do just what they are told - and are very limited in the time they are allowed to help on the phone. With Dave - for my first 14 weeks - if I got 15 minutes a week one on one - it was a lot - and many of them were delayed or cancelled because he was assigned to the greeting call for new clients. This was not his fault - but the problems were from week one.

Now I see when I research complaints on the internet - that Tafiti Builder/Consultant and Media Learner all have a lot of complaints - and this i... read more »

I see all of these comments about Tafiti and it makes me wonder. I have had nothing but a phenomenal experience with every one of their coaches. All I can think is that these people are not willing to put forth the effort and are looking for someone else to blame. Unfortunately some people expect a magic pill and there is no such thing. For me they have been everything I expected and so much more.

In response to Karen Comer, Tampa FL:

My name is Ray Punta and I have worked with Tafiti Consulting for some time. I really had to just laugh at Ms Comer's comment. Reading it just confirmed to me why she would not be a good candidate for this program. To think that any salesperson would use a 120 year old as a reference....I know no one nor have heard of anyone living that long. I was not rude to her but she was someone who just was not coachable to us. It was in the discussion about what we provided that I mentioned search engine and website optimization. She did say she could do that but so can alot of people and many more cannot so we provide that instruction. Our course varies in price and where she came up with $14,000 I do not know but I do know she fell into our non-coachable area i.e. some people just do not get it and are hard to work with and some people have knowledge of what we already teach. If we are "greedy" as she says why would I not have just taken her into our program and gotten her money. The one truthful statement she makes is the she said that I told her "he could not work with me." We are excited to help any client who feels like they would be a good fit and are excited about moving toward any online venture. I would love to have a continued discourse with Mrs. Commer, but I feel that she would much rather use this post for negativism, rather than as a means to communicate and exchange ideas that benefit both parties.

Thanks and Good Luck

Well, I have to say I have always been lucky enough to avoid scams. I guess if you live long enough, you may have to be taken. I was taken by Tafiti. Oh, so full of promises. Individual coaching amounted to 15 minute phone calls and referral to more video's on the website. One on one useful help was non existent. I still get billed for a monthly hosting charge and don't even have a website. There big play was we will work with you until you are making money. Well that should be easy to do, since the phone calls are brief and the quality of instruction poor. I could recieve phone calls from a person that is not educated in the business they are trying to train you for every week for the next 50 years, probably wouldn't make these guys go broke because it looks like they are still scamming people like us for thousands of dollars.

I was in search of a job at home since I am no longer able to work outside of our home, I signed up with Angela Pennbrook. Financially strapped almost to the max, my husband and I believed what we were told from the sales rep. from Tafiti Consulting even after telling them we couldn't afford to be scammed, they insisted we were doing the right thing. Well, I went through the course, got the website up and running way before Christmas, received a lot of hits but no sales. We are paying money for services we are not using and no money coming in to replace what we are having to spend. We have sunk so much money into this business already that I don't know if I should fold and close everything or if there is an answer out there somewhere to over come it. I have looked into other internet deals as well who start you out saying you barely need anything to start and once they get you signed up then every time you turn around you need a to invest a nice chunk of money to obtain their services. They are full of a lot of promises but do not follow through with them. Is there no one out there that can be trusted any more? I wonder!!
My advice is to stay away from Tafiti Consulting unless you are really just wanting to give money away. If that is the case, send it to people like myself who can really put it to good use. Ha! Best of luck to anyone who is trying to get ahead and can find the right deal out there to get it done.

Hello fellow suckers. We signed up for the service after a high pressure sales pitch. Of course it has turned out to be a total bust including the name they suggested we use. The name was soooo long it would not fit with no search engine.

In addtion to this disappointment we had to complain weekly becuase of the lack of assistnace & when we did receive help the information was incorrect or just down right wrong.

Please please do not sign up with this company. YOu will be sorely disappointed & broke to boot!

I've been reading complaints about tafiti, and though I sympathize with my fellow saps, my story is the saddest of them all. I was contacted by a man named Dean Walker(probably an alias). I told him that I had lost my job and was in danger of losing my home. I was so stressed and vulnerable, and obviously on the verge of madness. He sympathized with my plight, and offered to turn me into one of those "great success stories... How I became an internet MILLIONAIRE" I eagerly lapped it up like a stray dog. I too was asked to provide info on exactly how much Discover, Mastercard, and Visa had entrusted me with. With about 9000.00 remaining on my cards, I had just enough, with plenty left over for a month of groceries and a cell phone bill. He made me promise to pay back my investment, before I went hog wild with my new found wealth. "Oh, I promise, I promise!!" 6 months later I have a very nice website, that makes very little money, not quite enough to cover my merchant account and AuthorizeNet. I had virtually no help, I mean I worked my butt off and still do, because I refuse to go down without a fight. I am desperate to move MY website to a new host before they get another dime from me, let alone 39.95 a month. I sure wish I knew how to do it!!!!! How do people like Satan's Spawn aka Dean Walker live with themselves? If anyone has successfully moved their website, I could sure use some help.

I've been in the Tafiti Consulting program now for about 2 months and have nothing but positive reviews. I had a little difficulty getting started, our schedules seemed to always be in conflict. But now they call me each week, if I have questions they're usually good about answering that same day. Technical support rocks! Dawn is super helpful, and has always been willing to help me with building my site. I'm getting close to the marketing stage of my site, so I hope to start making some sells here shortly.

These people NEVER ONCE contacted me when they said they would. Some dude eventually called. Garrett was nicer than pie when I told him my credit rating. Then I got some old fart called Ray Punta, "My boss" who bothered to call me, over an hour and a half later than scheduled. (My time isn't worth money? I am already MAD). Unimpressed, when this old fart calls me back. When I tell him I have been in the website building biz for years AND was one of the first sellers when eBay started, his attitude changed. He was really rude from the start. Gave me all this guff about some 120 year old woman making $80000 a year and his daughter selling bedding for $8000 a month profit. I HATE THE SMELL OF BULLSHIT!! He gave me this line about eBay. He gave me another line about website optimization. I can do that, said I and Ray Punta the Snowman looked like a red hot chilli pepper! THIS IS MONSTER SCAM. I said, OK what are these people selling, cars, bananas, used underwear?? Then he said he couldn't work with me. He said I was a know it all. Website optimization is not rocket science! He said I was wasting his time. I said f*** you. Oh and the figure of $14000 was mentioned. I said I would have to sell an awful lot of product (what product? - he never would commit), to recoup $14000. I hope his yacht goes down with all hands. I hate greed and this is what President Obama is against ~ so am I. IF THIS COMPANY EVER CONTACTS YOU TELL THEM TO POUND SAND!

Do Not waste one cent on them. They say that you will get expert coaching, what I got was a newly graduated person from college that had her own web site and when she started coaching me she had made a total of 1 sell from her site. I spent weeks watching the videos. These videos are outdated and the links they tell you to go to to do research do not exist anymore. I had to use a search engine to find the pages they were sending me to.

Questions asked of the coach were met with "Contact Support" .. I thought that's what she was suppose to be. Then at the end of 8 weeks and just when we were starting the marketing stage for my website I get an e-mail from them that my coaching time was up and that I would receive a certificate of completion.

I complained to the company and their answer was that the agreed upon eight weeks was finished and if I wanted more time then I could pay for it.

I was assured at the beginning that I would have and expert coach, that my site would be up and running and heavily into the marketing stage in 8 weeks and that my goal of hitting $5,000 in sales within 4 months was very very reasonable..

I've had $0 sales since I'm still trying to figure out the marketing side of things and I'm out the $5,500 I paid them for their expert help..

There you have it.. $5,500 out of pocket up front, $39.95 per month for 5 months now and hundreds of hours of my weekends and nights..

They're experts at selling you what they do not deliver..

I was foolish enough to get involved with Angela Penbrook/Penbrook Productions. I believe this company then sells your information to other unscrupulous companies like Tafiti Consulting/Media Learner LLC or whatever they are calling themselves this week. Never did I contact Tafiti. I was called at work soon after I discovered that Penbrook was a scam. I was told that Tafiti could have an Internet business up and running within 30 days or before the first payment was due on my credit card. How much was I willing to invest? I held firm at $3500. I was given a password that would not let me access their instruction videos. From what I could gather from their website, the company would be some kind of drop-shipping. However, the products were not anything I would want to buy, let alone sell to someone else. I tried to make the password work, but it never did. I tried e-mails and phone calls, but I was never contacted until an e-mail came wanting to know how I would rate Tafiti. I answered every question with "I WANT MY MONEY BACK." I had received credit from my one credit card from Penbrook, so I called the second company and to this day I still do not know if I am free of these leeches. I had to cancel the card and have a new one issued. I have received credit for the monthly $39.95 that I was being charged for a website that was supposedly set up for me. I never had any say in its design and never could access that either. You are right--they are very high pressure and there has to be a way to stop them from accessing your information.
