RebateProcessorJobs.com Review
...Is Cindy Dalton a Scam?
RebateProcessorJobs.com by
Cindy Dalton is a
relatively new work from opportunity.
She claims that her company can set you up
with a job getting paid top dollar to simply
process rebates at home.
This program sounds like a real job but
unfortunately just like with the majority of
data entry programs this one is all smoke
and mirrors. After you sign up for $39
you do not get access to a list of companies
in need of home workers.
RebateProcessorJobs.com is nothing more than a
clever twist on what the data entry programs
have been doing for years. Cindy
Dalton simply tells you to
start marketing digital products online and
offer a rebate on them.
So for instance, if an eBook is selling
for $50 with an affiliate program that pays
50% commission they advise you to offer a
rebate in the neighborhood of ten bucks.
Thus, if you get a sale you make 25 - 10
with a profit of 15 dollars.
However, in order to attract customers to
your rebate proposal you will have to
advertise on the major search engines like
Google, Yahoo, and MSN. This
advertising is done on a cost per click
basis and if you follow the system you
should be prepared to invest several hundred
dollars into this.
So basically, you're not paying for a job
but for a sales strategy that can be applied
to affiliate marketing. It is possible
to make money with this method but it
requires money to invest as you will be
paying close to one dollar every time
somebody clicks on your advertisement.
Within one day this can quickly add up to
you spending $40 - $60 if you don't know
what you're doing.
I wouldn't call RebateProcessorJobs.com a
scam but their advertising is grossly
misleading. Yes it is true that you'll
be "Processing Rebates" but that's only
after you have spent money, referred a sale,
and avoided a refund.

Graham quebec | 10:05pm on August 30th, 2010 | watch out for a couple of other scams from cindy dalton called daily cash jobs and instant cash jobs they are a total scam wanting only 10 bucks for a out of date and totally useless pdf file don't waste your time or money |
Philip Houston | 12:50pm on August 3rd, 2010 | The FTC should regulate these scammers
by creating a program where they have to submit their program and documentation as proof of income from the program to the FTC along with a $5000 dollar review fee. The FTC would review every thing they submitted and determine if it was legitimate or not.
An FTC database could be created showing all legitimate opportunities. The database would be made accessible to the public over the internet. The Govt is as useless at controlling these scammers as they are at controlling immigration.

Phil Houston | 12:37pm on August 3rd, 2010 | I bought something from Cindy Dalton and the
Paypal statement shows the merchant being
R. Vinoth Kumar. I googled on that name
and found somebody who is a college student in
India. |
michael quad cities | 1:28pm on March 10th, 2010 | Thanks a bunch for the insight, and saving me some money. It seems that this Dalton person has reduced the price of this scam. My e-mail asked for ten dollars for this program. With the people i know we will catch this person real soon. |
R Chen San Jose | 7:44pm on March 10th, 2009 | Be careful of this scam. This Dalton person seems to be really shady and she actually has another scam site, www.mydatajobs.info. The sicking part about this is while most people found out about this site online, i found this is one of my College's buildings (San Jose State University) So it is possible the perpetrator to this scam lives in the Bay Area, but thnx for the review, none of my money has been wasted |
diana ma | 11:53pm on February 20th, 2009 | Thank you so much for putting this up for us to see. Thank goodness no money was lost here. Very frustrating in this economy that nothing is real...
Thanks again |
Doreen NH | 3:03pm on February 19th, 2009 | Thank you for letting me know that Rebate program is a scam. I checked out both the $197 and the $39 one. They all sound so good. Im glad I read the reviews first. So is there a legit program out. |
Don NC | 5:14am on November 18th, 2008 | I'm one of those people when I put my mind to something I give it my all. Except when I get scammed.I paid Angel Stevens $197.00 and the first thing they do is tell you your going to get a FREE website for 14 days to start selling things so you can process rebates on things you sell. Good lord, another scam. Then I was approached at least another 5 times for more money and they charged my CC without my permission for the website I never opened up.As I got further into her program one of her staff told me as I couldn't find the videos on rebate processing that there was no rebate processing it was just a glamorized sales pitch to make you work hard and give away a portion of your money. What a rip off, this has got to be the biggest scam Ive seen yet. Then they tell you you need to proceed with their college course at why thrive if you want to make the big bucks ,that only costs 3-10K. |
Rosanne USA | 12:40pm on September 20th, 2008 | I got suckered into DataEntryMadeEasy in 1/2008!
I want/need a legit work at home job (not a business) and running into dead ends!
Anyway, there is NO address or phone # for DataEntryMadeEasy and I sent them over 3 dozen emails and no response and they NEVER sent me anything!!! Truthfully, I am P.O.'ED!!! |
Isabella sa tx | 5:39pm on September 7th, 2008 | Fortunately, I did my research before paying any money to any of these scam sites but what I don't understand is why the BBB will not help the people that have been scamed or the their local Police Dept. As long as people like Cindy and Angela get away with doing what they do they will continue to do it. How can these people be stopped? |
Jo Epperson Texas | 11:38am on August 30th, 2008 | I, too, got sucked into the "make $1,000's" daily. I paid the $197 for Angela Stevens Process Rebates from home!! What a SCAM! Does not deliver what they advertise. I'm fighting for my refund. Have also filed a complaint w/the CA Online Better Business Bureau. I will continue to fight for a refund. DO NOT buy a thing from her. |
Jameson Vancouver, B.C. | 11:56pm on July 24th, 2008 | A few months back I got suckered into this Cindy Dalton thing, and realized almost as soon as my payment had gone through that I'd been scammed!!! However, there is hope. Almost immediately I got on the phone with my credit card company and insisted that the payment be halted. Although it had already gone through, they promised (at my insistence) to investigate it in the upcoming billing period.
Sure enough, (a couple of months later mind you) I got a refund credited to my account. My CC company imformewd me by letter that they had investigated the transaction, and the company in question failed to provide a legitimate sales recipt! (since it's a scam) So take hope--you can fight this and win, and most of all hit these scammers where it hurts them the most--in the pocketbook! |
Tim N. FL | 6:27pm on July 8th, 2008 | I too have spent $197 on the angela penbrooke system of "Do-it-yourself" rebate processing method, you would spend a month trying to set up a method of getting your message out and figuring out how to get traffic to your products that your affiliating with, and cindy dalton lied even better in her pitch page, "guaranteed to make money". Angela's had a 90 day money back guarantee that I have already requested and am still waiting for(there is a couple of days left til it's up but I have filed a charge back with my credit card co. too! Always a good idea to pay with a credit card online for that very reason. Use a debit card, and there's no recourse for your money)
Hey, if you have a highly traveled web site in play that you can put some affiliate links on, then be my guest. You'll make a little or alot of residual money. This all depends on what you are marketing and if there is a high refund rate due to poor products or e-book "bait and switch" techniques, as I am dealing with and you are trying to avoid. If you have oodles of time on your hands and a thousand dollars to fart around with just go to clickbank and set up your own free affiliate hoplink name, follow the directions and simply copy and paste to a clipboard page on your computer and then to your blog or setup a pay per click thing with google and you have your business to promote your rebates to process. Now, are you willing to give up half of the $10 that you made being the affiliate? Well if you offer a "re-bait",as I call it,(which I think that the ladies in question should start wording it that way on their pitch page, since that's how they "get" you) Then you can hand over your five dollars that took you two months to earn. Maybe after sitting around all that time you too can figure a creative play on words, and make a 40 page book describing how to pick jam from between your toes and use it to help save money on your power bill... or whatever!
Well, all that was probably worth $1000, too bad I said it for free. I am a self employed contractor that is trying to find some relief with the economic slow down only to almost give more than I can afford to away to someone that twisted their words to get me to fall, hook line, and sinker for their program. If your going to process rebates online, they will be your own, because I've searched and I'm pretty sure that there aren't any legitimate companies that are paying you more money than the actual rebate to the customer for the item that they purchased. That's stupid, you do the math...there is currently computer software available to recognize human handwriting and translate it to text(watch modern marvels, the US post office episode to see a demonstration), so even if the rebate form was handwritten, a computer can still generate a rebate check, and a envelope WITH postage. No human intervention is necessary, so...heed the warnings posted, and if you think that it is for you,go ahead take the plunge, but you'd better be ready to hang on for the ride! |
Jenny NC | 7:09pm on June 9th, 2008 | Thank you for allowing people to comment on this page. It helped me save money! I almost did the Cindy Dalton scam... but did a search for her business with the Better Business Bureau, no such company... then I did a search on Cindy Dalton herself and found this page. I just want to say thank you for saving me $39. |
Tony Cara Rialto Ca. | 7:20pm on June 2nd, 2008 | I live near the address given at the bottom of RebateProcessorJobs.com website (415 W. Valley Blvd, Calton Ca) so I went to take a look to found out that there were no office of this company, I even talked to the building manager and some of the neighboring store and all told me they have never heard of such a company. So be careful everyone!!! |
rox arkansas | 3:15pm on May 27th, 2008 | thanks for telling the truth & saving me $ |
Jay NY | 12:10pm on May 21st, 2008 | I got the rebateprocessorjobs.com only paid $39. I gues I got the same information the others got for $200. So I don't feel as bad. Lots of interesting extras and a big member's area but not what I was expecting.
Whats the web site for the $200, I am curious. |
katrina meridian | 6:58am on May 20th, 2008 | I signed up with data entry and lost 97.00 i also lost 39.00 dollar rebate processor with cindy dalton any way of getting a refund.these woman should be stopped |
anynomous Denver | 4:03pm on May 1st, 2008 | I am a broke college kid and was SERIOUSLY thinking about doing this program to try and get through everyday. So glad I decided to do research and find that almost every work-at-home job seems to scam hardworking people out of their money. Thanks everyone! |
Antoinette Basss Thomaston, GA 30286 | 6:11pm on April 14th, 2008 | Cindy Dalton and Angela must conspire together and come up with scam strategies and
prey on those of us who fail to check them out before giving up our hard earned money. I learned
after the fact... but I'm trying to get my refund... not only did Angela Penbrook take one
$197 from my credit card, but it was taken out twice on the same date.. and they claim they are investigating the status of my refund... I would love to find work to do out of my home... my
husband is ill, needs dialysis every 4 hrs. and I have to be home 24/7..its too bad something can't be done about those two dead-beats... Thanks for your space. |
