This company is one of those scams that are talked about so often. I was one those people who fell for the scam and have been getting ripped off for the last 2 to 3 months.Needless to say we all fell for the "small print" advertisement, you know the small print that get's us everytime.Anyway, let this a lesson for us all. |

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! BAD BUSINESS!
THEY SENT CD INFO PACKET SO I RECEIVED IT AFTER 14 DAY TRIAL WAS OVER!
I signed up for a FREE Trial paid $1.97 on June 5th online, it ended up costing $9.95 for meSurplusAl CLEARWATER FLUS (I did not even know I sign up for this additional service) and $39.95 for Dollar Days!
I just got the CD software today Monday June 22, 2009. They purposely sent the software CD out so I would receive it after the 14 day trial was over. They have lousy products no one would want to purchase, so I decided I was not interested, I called them to cancel and they still charged me. This so called free trial cost me $51.87 for absolutely nothing! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! BAD BUSINESS |

This company is cheating me out of money each and every month without my authorization.
I only recently looked at my on line checking account and see where you are taking out $39.?? and $.40 each month. How do they justify doing this from my checking account without me giving you permission. This is down right stealing my money. |

OK update for all the non dollarshop believers. I wrote that post yesterday about waiting for my check to come. Well after I wrote that post I called the dollarshop people and got the scoop. First of all you will not get anywhere with the 800# they list on the website, that's the number for product inquiries etc. Secondly, the 800# is based out of Chicago and she told me to talk to headquarters and they are aka Technical support.
So if you have any problems call the 800 number and she'll give you the tech. support number.
Headquarters I have now found out is not in the Caribbean it is in Clearwater, FL. Dollarshop was owned by people in Caribbean but purchased from them and now is all US based. SO I am still hopeful that all is cool and I will wait to get my check in the mail in Feb. for I made over 200.00 in Jan and I am quite tickled about it! Cheers. |

I have had this store now for over a month, and just got charged my 39.95 fee however when I placed my order for this business it was CLEARLY stated on the home page that this was FREE for a limited time only (14 days) and after that your card would be charged 39.95 a month. So not sure why so many of you thought it was always free how could that be?? You think the warehouses that are shipping this stuff are working for nothing? Anyway, so ok I understand that people have had issues on getting the charges cancelled on their card however, I have to tell you guys, I have been advertising this business for almost a month now and I have made over 225.00 and did not put alot of effort into it AT ALL, I have only placed little ads here and there. So MY main concern is when I get paid my check (which will come next month for the commissions earned in January) will that check clear??? That's my biggest fear right now and yes I saw that the address of the home office was in the Caribbean which is why I got worried in the first palce. So at this time I am going to wait it out, see if that check comes to me and if so if it clears, if it does then I guess I'm ok....if not oh no!!! I will repost once I get paid to let you all know! |

It is better to use a prepaid card on sites like this and others. If you have a problem just call and it will be fixed right away I have this site and find it interesting to learn from. Indead the fear out there. Don't let it stop you. I have been truly happy with the people who helped me set this up. When I called them with a problem they were understanding and fair with me . I ordered items for my self to see how fast and good the items were. I was very happy with the order and the time it took to receive that order. The things I'm reading on this site are what your going to find on most all sites. Alway protect your self and use a prepaid card. It's simple as that.... |

The word misleading does not do these people justice, I would say they are deceptive, and should be banned from doing business on the web. That's what's wrong now with some web businesses and why they and others will ultimally destroy confidence in online shopping. There are other good sources to work with. |

i signed up on 9/24/08, immediately went to the back office to view all the terms and conditions, found the recurring monthly charge and immediately sent an email notifying them to cancel my service at once. i have since been billed 39.95 3 times. never got anything in the mail from them and can't get anyone on the phone or any response to my emails. this program is a ripoff and a scam. i am presently disputimg the charges with my credit card co. perhaps i'll get my $120 back, but i'm not holding my breath. |

Wow. I just signed up, and after reading all this, I sent an email stating I want to dissolve this whole thing.
I clicked on the icon that says,'how to contac them'. Is anyone aware? ..that 'a hidden' address will come up on the screen, and the real address is located in the East Caribbean.
I may have to do some talking with my bank now, like the rest of these people, who thought this company was honest. Close my account, I guess. |

Hi,
You would think that this program would help people have some pocket money to make ends meet..for this not to work out? I don't understand why if you want to make some at least decent money for those that can't find employment and to get ripped off!...I can't believe it. Especially right now in today's economy. I really want to work at the very comfort of home. |

I just order the mydollarshop, and read what you guys have said and I immediately called them to cancel. The number I used was 1 800 931 3082. I see they only took the 1.97 from my account, but I am going to close my bank account and start a new one, just to be on the safe side. They did send me a cancelation email. |

This billing practice sounds very similar to FreelanceWriters.com where they claim a $2.95/mo initial charge but in fact have a $47.95/mo statement hidden with the same trigger - edit or change anything in your account and the billing begins LEGALLY! |

I was tricked into thinking the kit was free. I am elderly and my eyesight is not that good so I guess I missed the fine print about the 14 days. I thought that it was something to watch and then if interested I would find my own items to sell. Very misleading!!! By the time I got my bank statement, I had been charged $39.95 for nothing. Then when I contacted my bank, I was informed that I had been charged again the night before. This is robbery!!! |
