Maxwell Maltz

Maxwell Maltz (1899-1975) is known for developing Psycho-Cybernetics, a system for self improvement. He wrote many best selling books on the topic that influenced a generation of people and self help gurus.

Maxwell Maltz also had a very successful career as a cosmetic surgeon before he turned to the well being industry. His first book was released in the late sixties and his teachings have been followed by many to achieve and maintain personal success.

His theories contain many methods for realizing your goals, of which the most recognizable is visualization. Although a simple technique research in psychology has shown that under certain conditions it is a scientifically valid method.

Even though Maxwell Maltz began teaching at the age of sixty and late in his career his works have proven to have staying power. He dedicated much of his life to studying and perfecting Psycho-Cybernetics and the methods are based on countless case studies and much research.
