If there is a class action lawsuit against this fraud, please post it. I invested $15,000 in this program and the "training" go me nowhere. Yeah, they give you the links to these properties, but many have many obstacles to jump to get them. Don't be fooled by this scam, I've had my LLC business for almost a year and absolutely no transactions whatsoever. How do the people that sell this crap go home at night and say Mom, Dad, Son, Daughter,Granddad, Grandma I just sold a bunch of crap to people that could "least" afford the junk they are selling? They should be ashamed of themselves !!!
I can't believe there are that many people in this once PROUD Nation that would actually buy this junk !!! I see they are even branching out into the Latino population.

Send your stories to 20/20 and Dateline, asking them to run a story on John Beck and his scam!!! Expose him for the piece of garbage he is!! An exposure of that magnitude might prompt the government to step it up and shut him down!!! Also, if his "sales team" calls you, say "could you hold for a minute" and then put the phone down and walk away. Also if they supply you with an 800#, call it demanding your money back-Daily!! This man preys on innocent people, shame on him for being scum!!
My heart goes out to all of you who lost money on this scam. For those of you who wrote about their experience, may it bring you a bit of comfort knowing you have saved hundreds and hundreds of people for falling for this scam. And for those who posted "you should have known better" posts, go away. Don't you think people have suffered enough? They are already dealing with John Beck's garbage, they don't need yours too!!

I bought the kit and did the mentoring program and paid them $15,669!! I was told that I would get it all back if I did 8 deals. The way they made it sound it wasn't hard to do. I thought I had a year to do it and found out otherwise. I am embarrassed and feel completely ripped off!
I saw the posting from Madison on July 7th and will contact the attorney in LA. Thanks for posting that. If anyone else knows of someone I can contact for reimbursement please post info.

WOW!!! I am so furious that I did not do research on this before I purchased it. I saw the infomercial probably like everyone, and decided that hey I can need money this sounds good. Didn't even think twice to research it, wish I would have. I've only had 1 coaching session, but can already tell that this is a waste of time. They make you seem liek you were picked randomly and should be lucky to get the "coaching" but you can tell that was bogus, but they still make you believe in the theory of making money. They basically say that in 2 weeks you should be purchasing a property, which I highly doubt since the homework you do shouldn't even really be HW. But once again they still make you believe that if you put you time and effort into it you will make more money than you ever imagined. They tried to get me to get a LOC which I can say, unless they were lying, was the most informative info you can get if you already deal with real estate. But they make you apply for a credit card to get this, plus to get the "coaching" you have to pay money down and get financed through a supposed company which if you research is actually them. The people they tell you to call is just a payment processing company who can do absolutely nothing but take your payment and make sure it gets to them. I hopefully haven't gotten too far in to where I can't get out. I haven't signed anything yet, so hopefully I can use that, but this is a SCAM. It sounds so beautiful and unbelievable, but it really is. WHO EVER POSTS SAYING THAT THEY MADE MONEY OFF THIS, EITHER WORKS FOR THEM OR IS AS CROOKED AS THEY ARE. All the info they give you is stuff you actually can find and I actually did already on my own. They do give you some good websites to look for properties, but you can google it and find it on your own if you really wanted to do this. Hopefully any who reads this is not too late. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!!!

It is a rip-off! Just about everything was to hard to achieve. I stopped after 3 sessions. I paid $6499. for the course after the books. They said to me first they would get real estate deals for me. I'm sorry to see that we're well into 2009 and people are still falling for this and he still hasn't gone to jail. I bought the books and only the books thankfully. When I saw how vague the info was in the books and how generic they were .. I knew something was up. The show mentions nothing of the thousands and thousands they try to get you to put on a credit card. They kept calling me for almost two years harassing me... the final call resulted in the guy on the phone calling me worthless loser.. now THATS professional. I hope he and all his accomplices go to prison for life.

He infomercial is very misleading and and mentions very little of what they really want from you. Its sad that people like this can get away with such a thing. All of you people need to continuously write to your governors, senators and congressmen until something is done... if you dont... then people like keep on lining their pockets.

Call your state and federal officials!!!

Like everyone else, I share same opinion about John Beck "free and Clear" Program. I spent 8665 $
with 30 minutes, after I was blitzed by their telemarketers. They showed me big dreams of being a REal estate owner in no time. I am promised that I will get back my $ 8665 if I make 10 transaction in 6 months to 12 months. I was offered 15 sessions where I talk to a coach for 30 minutes over the phone, once a week. that is total of 7.5 hours of coaching - half of that time is wasted in clarifying basic concepts.
If we do the math, it comes out $ 577 per session(30min only) or $1155 per hour tuition fee- its expensive then any Private University in US that offers education. there sole purpose was to just talk to you for 30 minutes, educate you with basic theory of real estate, however that education is not enough to make yourself capable enough to acquire real estate. However the program is not totally impossible way to acquire real estate, however its not that easy either, During my 15 sessions, I have made enough efforts, and put in lots of hours to learn the process and make some acquisitions. however each time I use to get stuck at "title search" and the coach was not giving me enough guidance with that part, since it had some liability associated with it. I strongly recommend, not to fall for it. Even John beck's company marketer told me one time, that only 2 % of people who buy the package are successful. Rest 98 % just waste their money.

I have made the blunder, and I urge that you don't do the same.

I also want suggestions from someone who can help me ways to get my money back from John Beck. How can I approach them to get my money back ?

I'm a 72 year old American male living on social security and trying to supplement my income with an on-line business. I got interested in the on-line businesses in October 2008 when I saw an infomercial on TV about making big bucks in the real estate market. That was lesson one on how to get scammed. After spending $7,000 plus on the course I came away with NO INCOME and a hard earned lesson.

When I signed up, they sent a bunch of books and flooded me with information. I was assigned an instructor who called me every week with lessons and assignments to accomplish. I really cannot fault the instructions that they give because, IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY, you can probably make a success with this program. However, as I said, the course cost me over $7,000 which left me nothing to buy property with. After I was about half-way through the course I realized that I couldn't accomplish what they were teaching and told them I wanted to drop out. They then contacted me with an offer of a $2,000 rebate but I would have to finish the training. This I accepted. I had to use that money to pay down some of my credit cards that were on the brink of maxing out, which, of course, still left me nothing to buy property with. So I finished the training with nothing to show for it.

Even though, when I started the course, they advertised that If you didn't make your investment back in six months they would gladly refund your money, I'm still trying to get it back. Just trying to communicate with them is difficult. Their support is questionable, to say the least and they do not take criticism at all.

Unless you have a lot of money stashed away to invest, I would NOT recommend even thinking about getting into this field. Real estate is a tough racket, no matter what they tell you and John Beck doesn't care one iota about you. As long as you have the money for his course he'll take it!

For those of you who work for John Beck and give him good reviews on these sites, your just as bad as he is. One day you will get caught breaking the law with John Beck and you will be sharing a bed and jail cell with him. Yesterday isn't soon enough for me. Does it make you feel good about yourself to get paid to lie about the John Beck program? The people who are a service to only themselves, will answer to a higher power in just a few months. Good Luck with that. For people who are checking on the rip off scumbag to see if it's worth it, TAKE EVERYONE'S WORD FOR IT, JOHN BECK AND STRATEGIC FINANCIAL CO. (and any other company that works with John Beck) IS A VERY BIG SCAM being run by and owned by a lying, cheating, real estate lawyer SCUMBAG. The good reviews are written by people who John Beck pays to lie. The other reviews that are written, are by people who got scammed by John Beck and are telling the truth, and these people aren't getting paid to tell the truth. I was scammed by this ******* for alot of money and I Thank the heavens above that I got all my money back. Good luck to all the others out there who are trying to get their money back. I ordered the system over a year ago and I was called and I did buy the coaching. I have made over three hundred grand since then. It took some work on my part and it didn't happen over night. You have to do your part for it to work also. All i see here is a bunch of people who either thought they didn't have to work either of thought it would happen over night. For people who don't know the law, nobody can say anything on a commercial that isn't true, the FDC closely regulates this. So sorry you didn't get of the couch and try. just stop putting the blame on others. Three hundred grand in about ten months. Thank you for changing my life!

John Beck's real estate system is a fraud. The infomercial is full of lies and deceit and you will be billed monthly for something you refuse to buy (in addition to the 50 dollar scam).

It is impossible to get them to stop billing you 30 bucks a month without canceling your credit card.

John Beck needs to be investigated by the FBI for electronic fraud. He should be in prison for crimes against humanity. You are a scum bag, Mr. Beck. And I use the heading "Mr" lightly. You're not a man! You'll never be a real man.

Please avoid this scam. Buy a house for 300 bucks? Then sell it for 100 grand? Are you seriously believing this? Why is this "secret" not the top news story across the nation instead of an infomercial after 10:00 P.M.? You figure it out!!

I saw the infomercial last night and watched it for about 5 minutes. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I could tell right away that this was fraud.

You need to call the television stations that air this nonsense and threaten to include them in your lawsuit against Mr. Beck. If you tried to sell a legitimate product on television, you'd have to go through vigorous processes, trademark searches and solid evidence that what you are selling is legit. How is John Beck getting away with not going through that process? The television stations are just taking his word for it?

Please don't be fooled by someone trying to sell you a dream that seems too far out of reach.

I can't believe that JBeck is still making millions off people with his SCUM SCAM program. He scammed me for $7810.00 back in Nov. 2008. Well I'm happy to say that I got ALL of my money back. It took a fight and a couple of months but I got every single dime of my money back. I have faith that one day JBeck will be sorry for taking so much money from good honest hard working people. Heck he may even be working with the Government their doing a good job at taking hard working tax payers money. One day they all will have to answer for the evil they've done to all the honest good hard working people. If your reseachering John Beck, best advice, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM JOHN BECK. For those who's already been had from JBeck, I feel your pain. Remember, the only way to stop him is to fight him and not give up. why do you think these crooks are on tv very late at night? when they show success stories they present people that appear to be below average intelligence and minorities, some who are new to the country and aren't familiar with this b.s. they're target audience is the desperate, the poorly educated, the retired trying to supplement their income etc. they know that most average or above average intelligent people realize within 5 seconds that this is a scam. they prey on the least able to afford to lose money, and they have no conscience at all. I often wish Id meet with mr. beck and debate him on live tv. He has vast real estate knowledge and i have just a little, but i am good at undressing a phony and i think i am twice as smart as him. Of course he would never agree to a debate, nor to meet and debate any of his victims. he has no defense; in his twisted mind he would try to double-talk his way around the truth but we all know he is a phony and gutless chump. I am totally against violence in general but i might make an exception in his case, and someday one of these filthy scumbags are going to get yanked from their car and receive a little reality in the form of an ass kicking. They will understand what is real and beg for mercy and instantly find religion if someone ever gets hold of them. I just saw the Infomercial and had to check the online reviews. I had a gut feeling it was a scam....i can't believe some of you people buy into this. Come on! This guy is so full of sh*t I can smell him through the tv. You people who buy into this almost deserve to get scammed. But still, nobody deserves such fraud. This guy needs to go to jail, I am surprised no one has murdered him yet....he is scum, plain and simple. Don't waste your money on this. If a property is up for tax sale, it is public record. Besides the lists that John Beck is selling are not all true. One section of the list is a group of properties that are not even up for tax sale and wouldn't be for at least 3 more years IF the taxes are not paid. This is a list of new delinquent taxes NOT TAX SALE properties.

A few years ago, about 4:00am, I ordered John Becks Free & Clear
"SCAM". And this is the #1 reason
why it is a scam. After giving my
name, address, phone # and credit
card, i became suspicious and
opted out by telling him to cancel everything and do not put
this order through! A few days
later my wife gets John Becks box
in her name, as if she had ordered it. She Was Furious! She
Chewed Me A New A--hole! But, she
really wanted to get her hands on
that low life scum bag of a #&%$.
We have a joint bank account
with a visa/debit card in each of
our names. The Buck Stops with
John Beck, so he is responsible
for the operators actions. That
Operator/Order taker kept asking me for my name at 4 different times during the order, even though i spelled it out to him
each time, he still seemed confused and that's when i said, "Cancel everything" and "Don't
charge my card"! What he did was, he/they conducted a reverse check
on our home phone # i gave him,
and found it listed only in my
wife's name and sent the "free &
clear" package to our address in
her name after charging my VISA Bank Card. We sent the "box" back un-opened, went to our bank and
filed a complaint and because it
is Visa/debit, we were credited
the $60.00 "overcharge price" and
not the 49.95 as was advertised.
The Bank also put a "freeze" to stop any "pending" 39.95 monthly
"fees". We took action with our
Bank almost immediately and it
conducted an investigation and
John Beck refused to refund that
$20.00 shipping & handling charge.
My GOD has a special place in
Hell reserved just for"JOHN BECK"!
The phone calls from John Beck
did not stop however. It seems
that his people never got the
word and at least once every mo.
i'd get a phone call asking to
speak with my wife about the john
beck program she ordered. These
calls lasted months and were just
harassment calls by them because
I was cursing them out each time.

These sharks thrive on us fish
because they know we buy and will
never succeed with "their" kits.
But, what they really thrive on,
is their 29.00-39.00 monthly fees
they charge your card for their,
so-called expert advice.
People who've charged my card
for months after I've canceled,

Worst yet, when you get your
credit card statment listing the
charge, all it shows is a www web
site address and when go there
all you see is a blank page with
a window asking to enter "your"
code or some other such number,
your suppose to know. Of course
"you" have no idea what "they"
"whoever they are" is talking about. This is "free and clear"
money to these guys and they want
to keep it that way as long as they can. That's why they hide behind a little unknown website.
When you first order their course
they automatically put you into
the monthly "fee" saying, You can
cancil at any time and when you
do cancil their program they continue to charge you the monthly fee and never make any more communication with you, like
you don't even exist on the face
of the earth anymore. So, why in
Hell are they still charging your
card each month, if your not doing anything with it, they're
not communicating with you, your
NOT recieving they're "GetToWork" weekly e-mails, because you've camciled with them and YOU DON'T
EXIST ANYMORE! WHAT THE HELL ARE
WE PAYING THE MONTHLY FEES FOR?
BECAUSE WE LIKE THEM? WE WANT TO
BE GENEROUS AND HELP THEM OUT TO
BUY SOME GROCERIES EACH MONTH?

Never bought the product but it said someone bought a house for around $300 and sold the same house for more than $150,000. Hahahahahaha... What kind of bs is that? One lie leads to another and one thing they are consistent in besides scamming people is lying. Most infomercials are not reliable anyways including Russ Dalbey who is a scammer too. He and John Beck must be good friends since they always cheat people. And this 30 day money back guarantee is crap too. They just say that so you have nothing to lose and once they get your credit card number they keep charging it until you cancel. I hope they all end up in the slammer very soon.

I ordered Johns system and within 24hours called the sales team to access to their so called propriety software. I had 1 hour of motivational lecture first, then the speaker constantly insisted on me providing credit card information, which got me suspicious and I said no, now I am reading all this here, I am happy I stopped in time. Now all I have to take care of is to cancel the credit card that I used to order his system

I'm out over $17,000.00 I ordered the course, paid $14,995.00 and did the 10 week coaching and even flew down to Florida for a 3 day seminar. I worked Beck's program really hard for 6 months and never found a deal I was comfortable buying and feeling confident I could resell it for a profit. The coaching was terrible. They really kept me running in several different directions, my coach was even sending in bids on properties in counties I was researching without directing me towards any properties that I could buy. Do not order the program, do not pay for coaching... it is a waste of money. Also NO ONE out of several hundred people at the conference in Orlando last August 08 had even purchased one property, let alone bought and sold 8 properties and gotten their money returned. No ONE!!!! That should tell you something. Also at the conference John Beck himself was almost accosted by some very angry customers of his. They were asked to leave.

I got the phone call that offered me special assistance on making lots of money. They asked how much money I had and what my limit was on my credit card. They were getting to the big pitch when I decided to look John Beck up on th internet. If I had not read this web page, I might have gotten suckered into giving up my entire savings.

John Beck's Free & Clear program is a SCAM!!! I wish I would have read the comments about
this program before I ordered this product from the Infomercial. I chose to share my
experience in hopes that YOU won't get SCAMMED like I did. I ordered the kit and when I
was on the phone, they asked me if I wanted to buy the DVD $19.99 extra that gave Secrets
to Success which are the guarded secrets needed to get a jump start. So I added that on to
my bill with a total spent of $74.70. I was told that you can get all your money back
in 30 days if you find you didn't like the program. After I ordered the program and have
not received it in the mail in a timely manner, I start getting this call from a realistate
coach with caller id "MOA". Very High Pressure sales people. I told them that I haven't
received the product yet so I haven't reviewed anything in the program yet to discuss
anything. When I got the product finally, I was very excited and I played the DVD
called the Quick Start - find your first tax foreclosure property today. I read over all
the materials and books just to find they really don't tell you much of anything, it is all
very vague. I was furious when I played the "Secrets to Success" DVD that I paid $19.99
extra for, it was the exact same DVD as the "Quick Start" DVD that comes with the program.
John Beck has the same clothing on and everything and they just changed to orders of the
topics but it was the same DVD. That was clue #1 that this was a SCAM. Clue #2 that is was
a SCAM was when I talked to the Coach, he asked me how many credit cards did I have, what
type of credit rating did I have and how much was available on each card. To pay for their
expertise coaching skills to walk me through the program, I had to pay $10,000 to them and
if I was aggressive I would pay $25,000 to open a business. They said that John Beck would
pay me back my money after I had 8 deals. When I started asking this coach a thousand of
questions challenging everything, then he got very angry at me and his voice went up several
levels and he said I wasn't serious about the program. I told him I was upset that I got
ripped off because of the DVD that I ordered for $19.99 was the same as the Quick Start
video. Also, why do I need to give you $10,000 when the tax information is free at the
court house. Clue #3 this was a SCAM, "The Vault" is suppose to be free for 30 days then
after 30 days, they will begin charging your account $39.99. I had to cancel "The Vault"
before the 30 days was up. I tried calling the number they provided me to cancel and
I never would get a person to cancel it. I would be put on hold forever then it hangs
up on you. I tried calling the regular Customer Service Number and I was unsuccessful with
that too, no answer on hold for a long time then it just hangs up on you. I also sent
tons of emails to the email address they provided me to cancel the Vault. When I
looked up this product on the website and saw all the scam alert comments, I panicked.
Luckily, I did not give up $10,000 to the Coach and I Cancelled my Credit Card that
John Beck had on file and opened a new one. I sent numerous emails to cancel the "Vault"
with a return read receipt which I did get for my records. I got burnt for $74.70 that I
orginally spent on this worthless kit. I knew I wouldn't get my money back and that would
make me even more upset if I mailed back their products and they don't send me my money back
and I have nothing to show for what I paid for.
I am still getting harrasing phone calls with caller ID "MOA" which I ignore. Take My Advice ...
DO NOT BUY JOHN BECK FREE & CLEAR PRODUCT IT IS A SCAM!!!

I tried to get my money back, but only got $800.00. Ordered off tv. I declined all extras on the initial call (like express shipping) but I received the package in 3 days. Declined the cd roms and got them anyway. Then 2 days after the package arrived got a call from them and they ask for 15,00 dollars off my credit card and apparently unless I immediately agreed to this they wouldn't even give me a rough outline of their plan. What a scam. They probably will charge me for the property vault even though I didn't order it. Don't fall for this complete bogus scam.

Have you ever known anything on an infomercial to ever work or be legit? Anything that is on late at night is just simply bogus! Just remember one thing you can't make thousands to millions of dollars within just a few days by just purchasing a bunch of CD's or books, unless you are the one (John Beck) selling the CD's. If that was the case, then everyone would be doing it. From the guy that scrubs toilets at fas food joints all the way up to teacher's, policeman, lawyers, etc. I never called them, but I so wanted to see the comments and reviews behind this what I had obviously thought to be a scam. I myself haven't fallen for this scam but I have a brother in law who is suffering from terminal cancer who bought into this stuff and wanted me to get involved to help him with it. My sister has been so excited about it. These people have been telling them the exact same thing that I have been reading that has been told to everybody else that has invested their time and money hopes and dreams. Obviously, this is a scam for sure. He is in the process right now of applying for a new credit card and extending the limit on my sisters so they could get started in this "program". Their going to be heartbroken when I show them this.Worst thing about is they know he's got cancer. How heartless. I am going to get them on the phone and tell them I have a credit card w/a 50,000 limit. When they ask me for the # SOMEBODY is going to get cursed out good!

I'm sorry to be the bearer of unpleasant news ... but if you really think that you can purchase a home worth $100,000 or more for less than pennies on the dollar, you deserve to be scammed. Is it right that this happens to good people? Absolutely not. But people, come on!!! Haven't you ever heard the saying, "If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is"?

If people did just a little bit of research before buying into this scam, they would find that all foreclosed property, whether bank-owned or city/town owned due to non-payment of property taxes, is public information. By investing a little time and effort, you can find this information on your own.

Another point ... if this is such a "gold mine" as Beck claims ... why would he divulge his secret? As P.T. Barnum once said, "There's a sucker born every minute ..." Unfortunately, John Beck tapped the market and this is how he's making his millions ... by ripping people off.

No one makes a quick million ... there is not easy way to becoming a millionaire. Work hard ... do not live on credit and/or credit cards ... "act your wage" That's the real secret to becoming wealthy.

Next time you want to "make money" try listening to someone who'll lay it all out and tell it like is really is ... Dave Ramsey. No slight of hands, no smoke and mirrors ...

I bought John Beck's initial program package after listening to his infomercial. At first it seemed like a really good deal, but then I really got suckered. At the end of the program, I was offered the chance to buy his next step program for $8000. This program, promised to make me a millionaire in 30 days, was too difficult to comprehend. You need a degree in real estate law, and be licensed practicing real estate agent to understand of its nuances.
I later found out that most of the techniques outlined was boderline illegal.
Bottom line, I'm out $8000 with no recourse. Buyers beware. John Beck is a fraud.

In June of 2008 I fell for the John Beck's free and clear mentoring program lies. John Beck and his sister company scammed me for the total amount of $7613.10. I got it all back. I had to fight like a pack of dogs, but I didn't give up. Here's what you do. First, call and file reports with the FBI, FTC, BBB, in the city that you live in or where ever his office is in your state, and file a report with the Division of consumer protection in the state of Utah, where John Beck is based at. Then write letters to your bank, credit card companies explaining that you have been frauded by the John Beck Mentoring of America most of the credit card companies know who he is. Then go into the Utah public records and look up the class action law suite taken against John Beck in April of 2006 and send a copy to your credit card company or bank. I did all the above and I got my credit cards credited the money John Beck and his sister company scammed me for. If everyone who has been scammed by John Beck got together and filed complaints with the FBI, FTC, BBB, and the consumer protection we might be able to put him out of the scamming business. This person and his people need to be STOPPED and writting about it may warn others to not fall like we did, but filing complaints with all the above just might. When I talked to the FBI agent in Los Angeles, he told me the reason that John Beck keeps getting away with this is because not enough people file reports and put up a fight. Let's do this people, let's put John Beck and his sister company out of the scamming business. I'm up for a fight to stop this person, is anyone else? As said by someone else, contact Tony Martini, he's trying to get enough people together have another class action law suite against John Beck. I'm not looking for money from John Beck, I already got my money back. I just want to STOP him from scamming others like he scammed me. The list that Tony Martini is getting together for the class action suite has my name on it. Let's stand together and stop this person. I just wanted to let all you know that your credit card companies should have some kind of protection against this kind of thing. Last Christmas my husband ordered something from a website that was a scam and we called the credit card company and they were able to refund us the amount we paid and they put a watch out for any additional charges that might come from that company. You might want to look into something like that, it saved us a lot of money!!!

I am about half way through the John Beck "personal coaching" and $20k in the hole between John Beck and the corporation they convinced me I needed. Yes I know I'm really dumb but I desperately wanted to believe in this product and thought this would help change my life, how could I have been so wrong. Now I'm facing much greater financial problems and am getting next to nothing out of the coaching. They won't answer direct questions and see to know little to nothing about the different states and processes. Would someone please post how they made out in their law suit? I want to know if there is any chance of recovering from this before I risk losing my own home and destroying a good credit score. How can companies like this be allowed to go on doing business, it just isn't right to continue to prey on people that only want to make their life better.

I fell for the suger coded words and the quick talking reps. I got taken for $8556.80 between the John Beck Mentoring of America program and their sister company Strategic Financial Tax Service. I was told that I would make money in the first month or two depending on how much time I put into it. I sat on the phone and at my computer from 6am to 6pm three days aweek, starting in June 2008, doing all the steps the professional coach told me to do. It is now the end of Oct. 2008, and the only person who made money was John Beck, his people and Strategic Finanical Tax Service. How can people like John Beck and the people at SFTS, feel good about themselfs? I have learned a lesson in this, a very expensive lesson, but a lesson none the less. That is DON'T TRUST ANYONE. Do the research before buying anything on tv. To be a property invester go to a real estate school. DON'T CALL, AND DON'T FALL.

Just call your credit card company and say that your card was lost/stolen, then shred your card. the bank or credit card company will send u a new card. My husband and I were suckered into this back in March of '08. I sure wish I would have thought to google his name before ordering. Then the high pressure sales people called me up. I should have hung up right away when they asked me how much available credit I had on my credit card. I guess I was too trusting. Now we are $7500 in the hole, plus I have my own LLC and nothing to use it for....Bad bad choice. I still have people from John Beck calling me to this very day....Last call, they wanted $3500 to personally walk me through 3 buy/sell property transactions - guaranteed. I told them no way. Then he said he see if they could give me a deal or some kind of "refund". He said he'd call back, but never did.

Just saw the infomercial on TV and of course ran to the computer to read reviews. thanks for the reviews and for helping others not to make the same mistakes you have made. as far as money not returned, just open a dispute with the credit card company. every single person that beleives they are owed refund call and open a dispute. another idea is to contact CNBC and other channels and voice a concern over the type of infomercials they choose to show.

I purchase this program, and after I opened I didn't see anything good in it, so, I decide to returned the very next day, that was around 5 months ago and I still don't have my money back, and every time I call to see when are they going to return it, they said that they haven't received.

Also the BBB has both satisfactory and unsatisfactory ratings about John Beck so pay attention to the nature of each business your reading. His Real Estate Consultants business in Arleta, CA rates well but they are not the actual sellers of the Free and Clear system. The John Beck, Free & Clear Real Estate System in Alameda, CA is a Real Estate Sales & Financing business type and rates unsatisfactory with the BBB. They claim that this company has an unsatisfactory record because of unanswered complaints. The point is to watch what your reading while investigating this vulture. And thank you all for such detailed comments!

I have been trying to contact customer service to cancel my order for weeks and keep gettig put on hold, no one ever answers no matter what time I call. From $39.95 to $6,500dlls??? How is that possible!? Well, they promise you to guide you every step of the way with a "personal" coach, which you never meet in person! If you are one of the "lucky ones" selected, run away! This is what they tell you so you can cough up more money! The coaching program price varies depending on how much money you have at your disposal! I told them I had close to $8,000 at my disposal and they wanted to bill me for $6,500 hundred. I actually made a mistake and only had about $4,500, and magically, the price dropped to $4,200 (they said the rest of the money would be given to em as a scholarship, and I would pay back whenever I made the profit). Anyways, the quickest way to stop them from charging you is talking to your bank, and not to them. But if you want your money back, CALL THEM ASAP! And keep callin them...just like they to do people...

THIS PROGRAM DOES SOUND TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE (I SHOULD PUT A RED FLAG) INSTEAD I DID IT JUST TO THINK THAT IF I JUST BE IN IT AND LEARN HARD AND WORK HARD AND SEE SOMETHING REAL, MY HUSBAND WILL SLOWLY GIVE IN AND HOPEFULLY WE CAN MAKE A SECOND INCOME IN OUR HOME JUSST ENOUGH TO HELP ME RELIEVE A LITTLE BIT OFF MY TINY HEAVY SHOULDER AND GAINS HIS CONFIDENT BACK, BECAUSE HE KNOWS MORE ABOUT THE WEB AND KNOWS HOW TO SEARCH THE WEB TO GET INFO. AND MOST ADVANTAGE HE HAS ALL DAY LONG TO LEARN AND DO IT JUST LIKE A WORK FROM HOME JOB.
HERE'S MORE THEY (JB'S SYSTERM) ALSO HAVE ANOTHER BUSINESS (COMPANY)INVOLVES (WORK WITH THEM OR SOMEHOW CONECTED) AND THAT'S PART OF THE IDEA THAT HE SAID JOHN BECKS COMES UP TO GET ALL THE HELP AND PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE TO HIS STUDENT TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE SUCCESS WITH HIS SYSTEM AND PREPARE ALL OF THE HOMEBASE BUSINESS CORRECTLY AND SUCCESSFULLY. THE COMPANY THAT THEY ARE DOING BUSINESS WITH OR PROVIDES TO THE STUDENT CALLED STRATEGIC FINANCIAL COMPANY; THIS COMPANY IS HELPING TO SET UP A LLC FOR ME/ THE STUDENT AND HERE COME ANOTHER $$$ RIPPER. AS A NEW STUDENT AND I JUST THOUGH THAT IF I WANT TO LEARN SOMETHING I HAVE TO TRUST THE COMPANY AND LEARN AS WHAT THEY ADVISE ME; SO HERE ANOTHER $3,450.00 (THREE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS) ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT MAKE ANY MONEY FROM JOHN BECKS BUT THE COACHING AND THE PEOPLE OR THE PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT TO IS REAL BECAUSE WHEN I CALLED I GOT AN ANSWER EVEN THOUGH VERY BRIEF BUT I GOT TO TALK TO HUMAN SOME NICE SOME NOT. BUT WITH STRATEGIC FINANCIAL COMPANY IT IS MY NIGHTMARE!!!
IT WAS THE WORSE LESSION I HAVE EVER LEARNED SO FAR (AT LEAST FOR NOW) RUDE PEOPLE, THEY SAYS WHITE IS BLACK AND BLACK IS WHITE, AS I REQUEST TO CANCEL AND DEMAND FOR FULL REFUND THEY TOLD ME I CANNOT BECAUSE I AGREED TO THE CHARGE AS OF NONREFUNDABLE; WHICH IS NEVER TRUE, THEY HAVE NEVER MENTIONED ANY OF MY RIGHT OR MY OPTION TO CANCEL OR WHAT SO EVER. THEY ALSO TOLD ME THERE IS A TAPE RECOREDED OF THE CONVERSATION. i TOLD THEM TO REVIEW IT BECAUSE RIGHT AFTER I HANG UP THE PHONE WOTH THE SELL REP I HAVE OTHER QUESTION NEEDED TO BE ANSWER SO WHEN THE PERSON CALL TO CONFIRM I REQUESTED HER TO PUT IT ON HOLD UNTIL MY QUESTION HAS BEEN CLEARED AND ANWERED, ...TO MAKE THE STORY SHORT I HAVE PROMISE AFTER PROMISE OF REVIEWING AND RETURN MY CALL ......LONG WAIT AND ALL THEIR PROMISES FAILED AFTER ONE ANOTHER. I FINALLY REQUESTED AND SUCCESSFULLY SPEAK TO AN ACCOUNT MANAGER HE TOLD ME THERE WAS NONE OF MY CONVERSATION WHICH I HAVE REQUESTED TO PUT A HOLD OR HAVE QUESTION/ CONCERNED NEED TO BE CLEARED AT ALL ON THE TAPE. I WAS SO SHOCK AND ASKED THEM WHAT DID THEY DO TO THE TAPE????
I AM DISPUTE WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY NOW FOR THIS, AS FOR JOHN BECK IT IS TOO LATE IT PASSED MY 3 DAYS CANCELATION POLICY. THE MONEY BACK THAT THEY PROMISE IS IF I SELL 6-8 PROPERTIES AND WITHIN 1 YEAR THEY WILL GIVE IT BACK TO ME BUT IN A TRADE OF TO KNOW MY FINANCIAL AND "SUCCESS STORY" IT'S BEEN 3 MONTH NOW AND I WORK MORE THAN THE HOUR THAT THEY SAID FROM THE AD BUT IT IS VERY HARD.
I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW STACY FROM TENESSEE AND HJKL (WHOSE POSTED THEIR COMMENTS) AND HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME TO GET SOME LEGAL ACTION LIKE YOU ARE DOING, IF IT POSSIBLE.
I'VE LEARNED A VERY EXPENSIVE LESSION WHICH I FEEL I DON'T AND SHOULD NOT DESERVE IT BECAUSE I AM A HARD WORKING PERSON, I HAVE A CHILD IN COLLEGE AND A 9 YEAR OLD TOO. I HAVE NO CLUE AND NO KNOWLEDGE OF THOSE BAD BUSINESS OUT THERE THAT I HAVE TO WATCH OUT FOR.
ALL I NEED IS MY MONEY BACK SO I CAN PAY MY CREDIT CARD AND SAVE THAT MONEY FOR MY KIDS.

I must say that the program is well presented, it is a daytime infomertial, and it caught my interest. I listened joted down the information, then my husband and I discussed it. He did not see the commercial. We are looking at buying property for summering somewhere other than Arizona. We love it here, but would like a little someplace to spend some "hot" time away. Well I decided that I would get on the internet to check this John Beck thing out. I don't like calling 800 numbers, I would rather go to a web site and order. Since they didn't advertise a web site, I just typed the info into my search engine and got this site. Glad I decided to do a little research. There has to be a better way to get the Government info on tax forclosure property.
So Thank you all for the information, I will take a different direction.

I got harassing calls from them even after I cancelled. Now they have sold my info to another company that is harassing me on my cell phone.
She was rude and trying to get me to say something I would never say to people and she told me she was recording it. They are looking for money from us and they will do anything to get it, including harassment , just like those paparazzi who won't let celebrities walk down the street while they jeer at them until the celebrity does something stupid and they get sued.

I've bought and sold realestate many times and as soon as I saw this on TV I said, "What a rip-off." Being able to purchase property like advertised in the John Beck commercial is like finding a needle in a hay stack!!!!! You're better of taking the $40.00 and playing the lottery. You'll probably get better odds!!!!!! Kind of lets you realize how disconnected is law enforcement to scams that are taking place and ripping people off.

I THINK I JUST SUCCESSFULLY CANCELED: I agree this is a crooked scam but THE RECORDED VOICE SAID "YOU WILL HAVE NO MORE CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD." After calling and emailing daily for two weeks with no response, I called 1-877-636-2014;got a recorded voice and "Some more recorded lies" to stop me from cancelling. Then the voice asked for my reference number. I gave it & was told the above message. I'll see when my credit card bill comes in, but it sounded good.

John Beck's program is a total scam. If you do a search on his name the first site to come up has hundreds of complaints against him. I'm glad I researched his name before I purchased the program. I decided to see if I could find a program that teaches the same thing for a lot less money and I did. I don't know how he stays in business with so many complaints.

Thanks for all, you blew away my doubts. First, if there are auction items, Mr.Beck gave just initial price, and what it was after several bids-that was secret. He gave only half of true. Really, on Ebay many valued items have initial bid &1. The same do some dexterous Real Estate auction sellers. Often final price on EBay reaches &150.00 (retail price in WallMart is $75.00) and the RE property up to $300,000.00 instead of twice less on retailing.
