John Alexander
John Alexander is a another TV real
estate guru that promotes his products with
flashy infomercials and outrageous promises.
His operation is very similar to
John Beck; in the sense that they both
employ unethical business practices.
John Alexander markets a relatively
inexpensive course, "Real Estate Riches in
14 Days," for only one payment of 39.95.
The contents of the course reflect the
typical recycled real estate material sold
by dozens of gurus. However John
Alexander uses this course as a lead in to
sell more products.
After the purchase of the course John
Alexander's telemarketing staff will began
calling your house, pitching additional
training. In some cases customers have
complained that their credit cards were
charged multiple times without their
knowledge for services they never requested.
John Alexander simply counts on people to not take
the time to jump through all their hoops to
cancel the charges. This process involves
spending hours getting a manger on the phone
and then resorting to threats of litigation.
Similarly, John Alexander's customer
service has been called out as being very
poor. Many people reported problems
while trying to log in to the members area of
the John Alexander website. The tech
support lines that they called were either
disconnected or busy for hours at a time.
In regards to the actual real estate
information released by John Alexander it
too has faults. He advocates tactics
like withholding information and lying on
loan applications, techniques which are
illegal.
John Alexander is also known for
developing the inverse purchase method of
making money through real estate. This
method has also received mixed results since
it is a clever idea and at times does net
profits. However, some people have
encountered legal ramifications after
procuring homes following the inverse
purchase method.
Overall, there are better products
available for real estate training developed
by people with ethical business practices.
There is no reason to put up with someone that
will blatantly abuse your financial trust. Note: If you came to this website because you're looking for a way to make money online then I suggest you take a look at my top recommendations. These are the best methods I've found that anyone can use to make money online, Click Here.

Comments to date: 10. Page 1 of 1. Average Rating: klaus Chi-town | 3:39am on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009 | I saw this program on tv, I have one question for you all, why wouldn't you just go to a Realtor to buy a foreclosure? |
Jim Portland, OR | 9:39am on Tuesday, October 27th, 2009 | I have an experience with the TV real Estate Guru's, along with other participants. Bottom line from my experience....unless you have good administrative and computer skills, presently a good or great job with sufficient money to live on, and extra money for gas and advertising..the "tv" real estate programs are not worth investing in..Most have "teaser" introductory programs to purchase..leading into more expensive programs or seminars..leading well meaning consumers...with little to no earnings for their efforts...BE CAREFUL...unless you are so driven you will make money..in spite of not because of the tv real estate course... |
A. Anfrews CA | 12:39pm on Wednesday, October 21st, 2009 | They billed by credit card for over $2,000.00 and I did not approve charge and now they put me in collections with their so called financial company Duvera Financial who act as a collection agency as well. I heard there is an attorney in Fresno, CA that handled consumer fraud cases like this but don't know his name. Can anyone help me? I hear he does fraud cases on auto dealerships but there are so many names to call. |
joseph atlanta | 2:10am on Thursday, September 24th, 2009 | Damn. Another scam. Thanks for the warning. |
Cher Picayune, MS | 8:53pm on Thursday, August 20th, 2009 | Me and my mom are actually not speaking at the moment because of this John Alexander Scam! We purchased the $9 start up kit and then we decided to call our so called "Start Up coach". The guy was very trained wanted to know our debt and our wants and goals talked my mom into letting them get $400 off her credit card. I did not trust it but decided to back my mother up and agreed to take the sessions or whatever...they were bogus! We called everyday for weeks only to discover they wanted $500 more dollars for some coaches to walk us through step by step. Now my mother who still will not accept the fact that we were scammed is mad because I will not continue speaking with the "Financial Department" and she will not speak to me! CURSE YOU JOHN ALEXANDER!!!! |
Cyndie L Poffenbarger Council Bluffs IA | 12:45pm on Friday, July 31st, 2009 | I purchase the $39.95 by telephone from an commercial on TV. I received the package, but did not open it, as I had family members going in and out of the hospital. I recently went to reconcile my bank statements and have discovered they have been charging my bank account every month since my purchase, which was 5 or 6 months ago. I called to find out what was up and was informed by their Customer Service Department I needed to cancel within 30 days "The Foreclosure Update" service. (You had to open the package to find out this was going to happen. I also had spoken to a Sales Rep and told him I had not signed up for or agreed to any ongoing service. No one mentioned on TV that this was going to happen. It's a big lie. Open the package if you ordered the CD, so you can cancel the charges you will incur, if you don't. God forbid you have any family tragedies happen. What a racket! |
Connie Barlow Lebanon, Penna. | 9:23am on Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 | I was trying to access the testimonials from John Alexander and couldn`t get it. So I thought I would type in John Alexander Real Estate course and here I am!
There`s alot to be said for getting from the horse`s mouth! Thank you very much for your comments it saved me from making a big mistake once again. I had purchased Armondo Montelongo`s course at the tune of $12,000.00 and they gave you teaching secessions, did not get what I was expecting for the money I spent. |
scott Panhandle, | 5:05am on Saturday, April 4th, 2009 | Yes like you Yvonne I also purchased the John Alexander course. I had a partner who was a real estate agent and we split the cost for the course which was some high dollars. Not worth the time or money. It is sad to see people continually trying to screw other people out of there hard earned dollars. |
Tom Cruise Teegeeack | 9:09am on Monday, January 26th, 2009 | These types of scams are like joining the Church of $cientology. So why not join me and John Travolta. We offer training classes for the same amount and you wont get ripped off, you will however get rid of the Body Thetans that are making you poor and miserable. It only costs $9,999.99 to get to Operating Thetan Level 3 where you will find out about Lord Xenu. |
Yvonne North Port , Fl | 10:27am on Wednesday, December 31st, 2008 | I have purchased the program as well a one to one training for $ 6000. Have followed exactly what they teach. Advertised several ads in various newspaper ( very costly) was not able to get one deal. I would never consider purchasing any Real-Estate program that is advertised on TV, it is a waste of money and time. I have learned a big lesson. |
