Joe Crump is
an investor that has several real estate
courses out on the online market. He
has been involved in the real estate for
roughly twenty years, and has experienced
both the ups and the downs.
Joe Crump graduated from college in 1981
with a degree in Film Production (making
movies) and moved from Chicago to Los
Angeles. Joe Crump worked in the movie
industry for the next 5 years as a "Grip."
Joe Crump started real estate investing in
1986 in LA, California. Three years after he
started he bought $17,000,000 worth of
property. Even though his first property's
value had gone up 20% and the resale made
him lots of money Joe Crump claims it was
just good luck.
After that first success he started doing
rehabs, buying HUD and VA foreclosures.
He would fix them up, wait a month or two
for the values to rise, and then sell them
for profit. Eventually Joe Crump
would move on to construction projects.
Despite his rapid success the real estate
business that Joe Crump built came tumbling
down. The real estate market drop and
the LA riots in the early 90's forced
lenders to call in his debts, which he
couldn't pay off. The situation left
Joe Crump bankrupt.
He still knew a ton about real estate and
on his road to recovery he would develop a
system that worked with no money and no
credit. The system evolved into the "Safety
Net" method and the "Millionaire Matrix."
The courses that Joe Crump sells have
received some criticisms, people have
complained about a lack of specific
information. The consensus is that
these courses don't provide enough for a
beginner investor and merely lead them to
Joe Crump's more expensive mentoring
programs.
