Good experience but expensive
I had LSAT prep with Tom and my score went up an adequate amount. But I paid $1500 which was, in my opinion, a rather
unreasonable sum in light of this current economy.
But if you can pay for it (or borrow said funds from your family, as I did), then you have my recommendation for Jefferson Prep.
They Suck - Stay away
I had private MCAT tutoring. My MCAT score was a 19 before signing up, and after 70 hours of private tutoring, it went to 28.
This was not enough to get into ANY medical school. I basically wasted a year and $4000 and didn't get anything.
I demanded a refunded but they refused.
They are crooks and not smart stay away.
Terrible Experience. I hired a tutor for myself. They're policy was to send me an EXPERT tutor.
but they sent me some foreign woman who spoke with English accent. She said she was a professor in a university. Ya, please. As if a university would hire someone with this accent.
Stay away from these punks. After the package I told them I wasn't happy and they were rude.
Jefferson Prep insists on a priori full payment, for which it does not offer reimbursement under any circumstances, even if services are not delivered, DESPITE a "guarantee". The company did not respect its contractual obligation, namely to provide the hours of tutoring for which it received payment. In my case, it neither provided me with a tutor nor reimbursed me for the untaught number of hour. They take advantage of students in stressful situations.
Total scam, spent 2300, only to have tutor quit a third of a way through. Second tutor was totally incompetent. Tried to get money back, but could not get a hold of anyone. DO NOT USE!!!
