Im also happy I decided to check this out online before I purchased it. I spoke with Cathy West yesterday and she was trying very hard to get me to order one of the expensive packages. Here's a thought for you..If all of this hipe was so great, why are they working for someone else when they could be making "thousands" running their own business with ISpeedway. Just a thought.. I will however allow her to run through one of the gold accounts, I am intrested in seeing some of their products. |

i believe that i speedway is guilty of firstly naming this business i speedway and secondly of passing out supposed, free cd's you just cant do this type of thing in a world, not only full of negatism, and skepticism, but also in a world thats looking for a handout. However, this is what seemed to have drawn the common thought that i can speed my way, freely and effortlessly my way to riches and that if things dont go ones way for whatever reason being they whine, it has always been a known fact that nothing in this life has ever been free be it monetary, nor your time, moreover, that anything worth having is worth working for but first not only does one have to believe in him or her self but also in that of their endeavors...I have only experienced, honest, speedy, helpful, as well as good customer services with my speedway. May God bless to all. |

The guy that said Internet speedway is legit and people are sitting back wanting something for nothing probably works for internet speedway. He is the one getting something for nothing, he's getting our money for nothing. I ordered the CD and immediately moved money out of my account. My bank called me to tell me a company has been repeatedly trying to access my account for over $200. I explained to them about internet speedway and showed them this scam site. He promptly turned to his computer, put the insufficient fund charge back, wiped out all negative comments and wiped my slate clean.. then said have a nice day. I was lucky, its normally not that easy to have your bank save your account. |
Charlz South Carolina | 8:59am on Tuesday, March 4th, 2008 |
Heard the radio ad, spoke with Angela. She wanted my credit card info for 9.95 shipping. I told her NO - I would send them a USPS Money order. She said they cant accept that. I asked what the address of the company is and she said she was in a different location. I asked where that location was and we always came back to the question of "Whats holding yo u back today Charlz?" I told here I needed to research them first and not just haphazardly hand out my CC number. She made it sound like I would get 6 months for free then I could easily cancel. Warning, if a company gets your CC number and they wipe out your account, it takes 1-3 months to get it corrected. I had this problem with GOOGLE advertising and even though they admitted the problem was their fault, it still took 2 months to get that money safely back. For the internet, use a prepaid card or use an account with a limited amount of funds in it. For any online venture, search the name of it and add the word scam to it. You will get GREAT results if its fraudulent. |

All of this bashing on it not being free. Why do people expect to get something for nothing ?
If you look @ ispeedways website, ALL of this information is readily available. 9.95 non refundable shipping and handling charge, if you decide to keep the product, you pay the 5 payments, or you have a choice to pay it in one lump sum and get unlimited pages for your internet website, and you SAVE $100.
I've done my research, and I think that starting a business with Ispeedway is something that holds promise for me.
Business' take a lot of work, REAL WORK, you can't expect to get a free site, and it do all the work for you while you sit on your rear ends eating donuts just waiting for the cash to come into your account.
Internet business' take time, proper website development, like meta tagging, search engines, etc. As well as knowing how to market to the proper client base depending on who your target consumer is.
If I-Speedway was such a bad company, why do they have awesome records of good standing in 3 states ?
Just my .02 |

Hey thanks guys for the timely info ! I was sitting here thinking of calling for help to set up my website, until I read these comments. I am now calling to cancel my debit card. it's true, that when you call for the free CD, they clip you for $9.95 s+h, then tell you after 30 days free trial, they will bill the card $69 X 5. Sure am glad I found this in the nick of time. I am so skeptical of these offers, they are all out to take you to the cleaners. |

I'm currently dealing with Internet Speedway and have found that in analysis of their various options and current experience with their product which is the "intro package", that the product itself has a great deal of potential however, like many other testimonials that I've read from those who've had bad experiences with this company, I too must disclose that I've been pressured to invest several thousands of dollars more to get the full benefit of their program which in and of itself isn't contrary to the cost of professional web-development but, I've asked critical questions including asking for a "ball park figure" but was given nothing but a "ditch and dodge" approach, have had my intelligence insulted by a vast array of pathetically lame answers which weren't even an answer to my intitial questions but moreso a cheap sales psychology tactic designed for distraction (I know this because I've been in sales for a couple of the biggest retail companies on this planet and have had the full training in sales) and then having these people try to close me on dumping several thousands of dollars anyway after all of that. Additionally, I hadn't received invoices for the purchases that I've made and have had to pin them down to get even this most basic of all information for record keeping. MANY RED FLAGS WITH THIS COMPANY! |

Well I have just read the comments from everyone and decided to cancel my order by canceling my credit card I have had nothing but problems ever since I started with the promotion from ispeedway. the initial sales pitch never informed you that if you do not take advantage of their special offer the cost will be substantial later and when you do call a sales rep they are constantly trying to get you to up grade especially if you are trying to set up your own web site I can also say on many occasions I could not even reach the site anyway so why have it. Thank you all very much . |

I was so close to signing up with them. I am so happy to found this site and I will not fall for this scam. I knew it was too good to be true. The commercials are way too sleazy. I will also call the local radio stations where I have heard the commercial. Thanks to all of you!! |

I thought it was to good to be true--a free CD to start your own Internet business. When I ask the representative to give me their physical address (so I could check the BBB), he said, "he had to check his business card because no one had asked that before!" If that was TRUE, I am shocked that someone would allow a business to bill their credit card $9.95 for shipping a 30-day trial product ($69 x 5 months or $350 total) without even knowing their physical address. He fianl gave me the physical address. I told him that I would research the company and call him back. He tried to pressure me into purchasing the product, but I said, "I will call you back!" This advertisement has been running on an Atlanta radio station that features a national known African-American radio personality--I am SHOCKED!!! |

Just had one of those pushy, fast talking, light on for hard facts, wont take no for an answer sales pitches on the phone. BIG RED FLAG The conversation went from "free" except for the $9.99 to don't you want to sign up now at $29.99 to adversarial when I said "no,I want to research the information first". Thankx to this site my research was quick and decisive. PLEEEZE call your local radio station and get this crap taken off the air. |

This is a bunch of crap there is nothing about it that is free. They want $9.95 for shipping and handling then they proceed to convince you that you can make tons on money if you purchase more crap from them. When you call the so called free tech support. They want you to purchase a personal made ready website for thousands of dollars. In the process of canceling I pray I can stop them from billing my card they say you have 30 days to cancel. |

THE NAME "ISPEEDWAY" IS SYNONYMOUS WITH "SCAM" AND "FRAUD". THEY ARE CORRUPT IN EVERY FACET OF THEIR ABUSIVE BUSINESS. IT STARTS WITH THEIR SO CALLED "NO RISK" FREE CD RADIO OFFER WHICH COSTS $9.95 AND ENDS ONLY WHEN YOUR FORCED TO CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD TO KEEP THEM FROM TAKING EVERY DOLLAR THEY CAN FRAUDULENTLY STEAL. |

WOW! I am glad I found this site! I ALMOST fell for this scam. It SOUNDED good on the phone. Luckily, I did not have my credit card with me when I called. He had me almost hooked when he told me "we advertise on radio and because the sales people reviewed us, we must be legit" - that was a red flag. |

My dad and I canceled our credit card, before they could charge us, so we weren't screwed over.
Why should we have to send a 'free CD' that we paid 9.99$ for back? It's a total scam. The best thing to do is call your credit card company, explain what ispeedway is, and they will back you up 100%.
We got our credit card canceled, so that ispeedway couldn't pull fake recordings, and make us pay things that we never ordered in the first place like they've done to billions of other citizens. |
Power to the people USA | 11:29pm on Friday, January 25th, 2008 |
I repeat in capital letters. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS CROOKED COMPANY!!!. They are a fraud and should be put out of business. You invest time and effoort in this investment and when you call for help, they hustle you to get more money. Their so called professional built websites are mirrors of each other and they are not up to par with the latest in e commerce technology (ex. search engine optimization). I too was scammed into thinking that this program would work. But how are you going to compete when your wholesale costs are higher than most other retail priced items sold by other websites. The thieves make their money charging higher wholesale costs, bogus warehouse direct membership charges and inadequate websites.
Does anyone know if internet speedway provides annual report of their successful merchants or how much internet speedway is making scamming people. They should be held accountable for their deceptive methods and unethical customer support practices! |

Just a comment that I did not see in the first 10... is there any way to engage the credit card co. by disputing the charge? And of course, the best recourse is to cancel the card, as mentioned already. I'm sure glad to have stumbled upon this website bec. the radio ads are sooooo enticing. |

OMG- I was dumb and didn't do total research, IS there any recourse? Money was all ready taken out of the bank not even two hours ago. I so wish I would have found this sight. I am so upset with myself right now. |
Omar Sayed Arizona | 5:01pm on Monday, January 21st, 2008 |
About 18 months ago, this company started charging my wifes credit card out of the blue. When confronted, they immediately went into a script of how we ordered their program and didnt cancel in time to avoid monthly 70 dollar charges. We never ordered anything. They pulled their recordings and it wasnt us that ordered it. They still refused a refund. I had to call the company CEO about 6 times to get a response, but the money kept coming out. I was finally issued a refund check after leaving countless voicemails for him. I received just a check, no apology or explanation.
If you do a search on Google for "powered by internet speedway" you get all of their sites. Ask the owners of the sites how they do, none of them are happy, I never got one positive response.
It used to be that on Google, if you typed in Internet Speedway, you got a question back "Did you mean Internet Speedway Scam?".
In addition, at one time, they were stupid enough to have their "testimonials" on their site be registered to the company that owns them.
They also used to run a site that asked for complaints about them to keep them off the internet. I shared my research and ideas for legal action with this decoy site and the next day I was contacted by their customer service manager offering a refund.
That should convince anyone. Funny thing is that if they'd have just refunded the money when it was apparent that we didn't sign up, I wouldnt know all of this, and neither would you. I think the moral is that once they get their claws into you, its almost impossible to get away. |

Internet Speedway is a joke!!! It has been such a disaster from day one. The First guy I spoke with said that I would only be paying $29.99 a month for 6 months after the CD that I ordered was shipped. Well it turns out that these guys have been hitting my credit card for $69.99 a month. I sent them an e-mail to cancel and they said they do not except e-mails, so I got stuck with them. I have tried canceling with this company and they told me they would call me with the tape recording and no one ever called me back.......WHAT A SCAM |

I bought the cd, well at least the s/h part and than I found this sight and found alot of disgruntled people and I immediately canceled my account and I had to mail them back the cd. Thanks a bunch, you saved me 300 dollars and probably a whole lot more! |

I also called them for the free CD but have learned from other scams that when you call for a free anything give them a name that is similar to your own but letters off, that way if other stuff comes with that name, they are the ones who sold you information. Then I have a separate email account that I made for junk mail or email that I don't care about like a hot mail account. Now I know that it is a scam I am not fearful that they know my name and info. Just a thought. |

After closing a credit card or other account that IS or any other company has been billing fraudulently once you cancel, remember to file out the "Affidavit of Fraud and Forgery" with the bank. The banks will need this in order to assemble a case against unauthorized billing practices. When I asked the IS rep to send their business contract for my attorney to review he declined. I also said that I was recording the conversation and he hung up. If you record the conversation, let them know you are doing so in order to use the recording in a court case. |

I have sent them this notice the last week of my trial period so they would charge my account 59.00 for nothing!! I feel if the company was on the up and up they give you 30 days from the time you activate your account, which by the way I never did! More to follow if they still Charge my |

I wish that I would have read this blog first. I called to cancel my membership today and was told that I still owed 69.99 for two more months. I told them that I was going to call the bank and have them stop the payments and they told me that if that happens the account would go into collections and they would call my bank and let my bank hear the conversation where I agreed to pay for the package no matter what. I told them that I should have known that they were to good to be true and that I would never do this again. What a learning experience. The lady said that yes it was a learning experience for me. What a bunch of scam artists. I hope that someone does make a class action suit on them. I have to talk to my bank and see what I can do. |

I too was scammed by internet speed way. I sent an email to cancel and had believed i had. then I got their package well after the trial period I was told that even if I hadn't activated the account I would be charged $69 for 5 months because I agreed to pay for the license. So even though I canceled and told them that I would not authorize payment after that date they continued taking it. I asked if this company was registered with the BBB the man who was very rude said no. I said well there you go you must be a scam! This program is just a front to get peoples money. And they have NO PR. I say everyone should file a class action, just getting them off the web would bring me great joy! |

I just heard this ad on the radio and thought why not it sounds good. Almost ordered it after all its only like 10 dollars to get the details. Good thing I had to keyword it for the website and found your info right under it. WOW what a scam, I usually dont fall for scams like this but since it was on the radio being advertised by DJs I listen to all the time I didnt think anything of it. When I viewed the site I realized that while the info they will send is free the set up isnt. You first of all need to buy a domain, buy a hosting plan, subscribe to various search engines to list your site, get charged monthly for accepting credit cards, pay for building a shopping cart and do aggressive advertising like the ones that you get in your spam mailbox and all the other garbage that belongs in spam along with the junk I'd be selling from the speedway. Thanks for posting this, its a great read before you buy for anyone looking to save themselves from real legal scam artists. |

Here's another reason for not buying the i-speedway. I canceled a year ago and I was still hit with two charges of $268.00 on my credit card. WATCH OUT SENIORS, THEY ARE AIMING FOR YOU
Wow, I am glad i came upon your site.
I agree this Ispeedway site is a load of BS!!!. My mother who is a Senior, got involved with this company after hearing it advertised on the Christian radio station. So she thought that it was ok. She is not internet savvy or computer literate either but she thought i would be able to help show her what to do. From right off i could see that this was a scam. She did not believe me an said I was too closed minded. She tried to cancel it but they become threatening and hostile then continue to try to offer more help to set up traffic to her site and to buy more from them. She has call customer service to cancel about 5 times but for some reason they sweet talk her into staying. It has been over 5 months and the only people viewing the site is us. Plus the products look cheep I wouldn't even buy them myself. I am glad I saw your site and had a chance to see all the other reviews.I will show her what every one else has written. Maybe now she will believe me. |

Well, thank you all for your posts. I called to cancel my membership immediately! The only reason I gave a "Fair" rating is because the cancellation call went fairly smooth. I was asked by the first person, "Why do you want to cancel --problems setting up, you don't like it..." But after I gave a very firm and adamant response, I was immediately transferred to someone else who was less aggressive and offered NO additional sells pitch. And since I'm still within my 30-day trial period, and hadn't received my package yet, I was promised a refund for the initial $9.95. We'll see what happens when I check my account. |

Wow...
I own a reasonably successful eBay consignment business and was looking for a way to boost sales. Apparently, this isn't it. The biggest challenge in this business is respectable inventory that brings profit, and the biggest risk is having that inventory be less than promised. While I don't have the issue of becoming "visible", I do need the assurance of viable profit margin and fulfillment, and based on the few experiences noted here, the "magic" of drop shipping is mostly smoke and mirrors. Thank you all for sharing your pain. Happy (and a better) New year to you. - |

Well they got me. They got me past the 30 days. We would call for support and they would offer us another deal for bigger and better products to sell. NOTHING EVER SOLD. THEY HAVE TAKEN 269.55 AND 66.00 OUT OF MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT OF WHICH THEY WERE NOT AUTHORIZED TO DO. AND IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE I AM GOING TO GET IT BACK. BE SMART STAY AWAY. I read these reports on how bad they were and they told me they knew about the reports but the bad reviews were due to people not following thru. Did they see me coming? DON'T DO IT. |

In all of my years as a business owner I have found one thing to be true. The ratio of successful new businesses that succeed is 10%. Ninety percent don't make it, plain and simple. You get out what you put in. To think that your wallet is going to get fat by just waking up and looking in your email for money.. Is not realistic! Being a business owner is not for everyone.. Best of luck to you all!!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! |

Hello Everyone! How Dreadful! I Joined ispeedway Sept 12th 2007 up until now I have not made one cent! They charged me $350.00 for the site.
One mouth later Oct 12th 2007 I called them and told them that I see no one buying anything I advertised at their TrafficBuilder Page Well I fell again they convince me to purchase their ispeedway Guaranteed Traffic! @ $295.00 for One Year of advertising That's 10,000 visits in one years time. Well the site is getting Traffic all right 40 here,30 there, ect...per day. But no one buys anything!!! Then I called them again...
They tried to convince me to purchase a SUPER STORE! at twelve hundred dollars. I told them NO!
Oh! twelve hundred dollars and a brand NEW FREE Lap computer they tried to luer me in with that pitch. And More FREE! advertising thrown in too!
I told them No. Everytime I tried to get some help for suggestions they were always in a hurry. They gave me the round around and pushing for their commissions. BEWARE FOLKS! BEWARE... |

First of all thank God I found this site and to all you guys posting your stories. Actually it was an accident to find this site from google, because I was looking for actual site that I can login to their website and then I found this site. I'm already a member with them and I'm just waiting for my package to arrive at home. After doing a lot of research on them I decided to cancel. I called their toll free number and transfered me to different extension number, while I am on hold I was thinking they will give a hard time canceling my membership. I was afraid that they would not cancel my membership and will continue deducting five payments of $69.97. After waiting on hold a customer service responsed, I told him that I want to cancel my membeship. He said he can do that, but I can't get my $19.99 for shipping because they already shipped the package to me. I am ok with that as long as they wont take five payments of $69.99 from my VISA. After that he gave a confirmation proving that my membership is canceled. |

Ispeedway is a scam! Buyer Beware! I called Ispeedway as a result of their radio commercial. The free product info turned into an aggressive sales pitch. I agreed to pay six payments of $60 for a website. The site i had was pitiful and I called to cancel. I was then given another sales pitch for a free "superstore" upgrade. I didn't realize that it was just a delay tactic, because my 30 day trail period was almost up. The "superstore" didn't have a web listing, when I expressed my concern I was told I could upgrade for $00 more and this would put me on my way to 6 figure income. Bottom line is I canceled and was still hit with $280 dollars. What a scam. |

Ispeedway internet store: Be aware before you by it...
I purchased the thirty day trial version of Ispeedway on 12/05/07. And of course an extra package for $29.90. I have yet to receive my package and it is now 12/19/07. I tracked it on the 13th and they had just processed it on the 12th but my trail started on 12/06/07. If my guess is right, I should be getting it today but because I haven't even been able to navigate by page to get fully set up yet, I'm not even going to open the package. As soon as I finish here I will be making a call to Ispeedway to cancel. And I hope they don't try and charge me for a domain name that I never even registered (as stated in one of the reviews) because I never could get my page up and running. You are not told by Ispeedway that you really need to know something about e-commerce and may-be even something about setting up a website before you try their trial version. When I called customer support each time it was about them trying to make more money. I never fail for thinking it was going to be easy as they lead you to believe on the phone. Ispeedway sells their internet store to average people like me and pretty much you are left hanging unless you have more money and time to spend, because they do lead you to believe it doesn't take much of your time or money.
All I can say is beware. Know just what is needed before you try it. Don't take their word for it. And I to heard about the FREE trial CD on the radio. |

Forget the $300 range of scam - I was talked into the $3500 package. It's been a year and I supposedly have 100 -200 "hits" a day and not one ever wanted to purchase I thing. ever. for the first year, the counter said I had 400 to 500 "hits" a day. the iSpeedway redirects. More like, the Ispeedway phony "hits". I have marked all the prices to only get enough profit to get back my $3500 - still none of those "hits" purchased... I resubmitted - nothing happened. I changed out products over and over. I am still trying again - hoping to find a way to make just one real sale - so I won't feel totally and completely stupid for falling for this. There's been no follow-up, no mentor as promised, nothing. I do get a lot of calls and emails from other organizations to spend even MORE money on all the things I thought Ispeedway would provide. OH - and then I resubmitted to the free search engines again and ended up shutting my system down due to a virus threat from - guess what: one of those search engines. I am disabled and that was my last $3500. I didn't even want to make a lot money - just enough to help the sudden reduction in income. YES, it's a major scam. I even found another site that looked exactly the same as mine - even the color scheme. So much for original look. I urge everyone to just say NO to this Ispeedway. |

Ispeedway got me too...Scam Scam Scam- I too upgraded to the 3500 package had them set me up a unique site and load it with 1000's of "great" products. The VIP support was upset with me when i asked why the site was not HTML so it could be easily searchable to a product instead of the home page. The VIP support was pissed when I ask how to upload other drop shipper on to the site and gave me I think the most difficult process to do it. A receive numerous call for e commerce companies wanting to help drive business to my site so i bit and out $475. i have not had hits other than ispeedway guarantee hits of 10 to 35 all at 1 to 7 am less than 2 seconds and not sales. I put stuff on ebay and lost there too. The few sales did not make up for all the listing fees of the stuff that did not sell. My one high point is I have a $5000 tax write-off. |

Ispeedway No Earning Potential...I have tried to start an online biz through ispeedway, and there has been no sign of earning potential, only spending. You have to pay for a merchant account, pay to be on a search engine, pay for upgrades, it does not end. I was hooked by the free cd advertisement as well. I told them I want to make money and not spend it. I was then told well if you would like to make money you have to invest in your business. The investment would have cost me over $2000!! I laughed and said if I had that kind of money to blow I would not be trying to earn an extra income.
Within the 30 day trial there are so many links and steps to go through in order to have a successful site, you will not make on cent within that time spend, but the representative would tell you,you can earn $5000 in real income within that time. I figured it was a good idea, but once I saw the hassle of getting it started I washed my hands of it. |

THANK U ALL! I am so very happy that I decided not to buy and check the internet for comments on this company. I placed a call yesterday (12/14/07)after hearing one of their great commercials on the radio. The sales person made her spill but something didn't quite set right with me. She told me about the 9.95 charge (S&H) and then she told me about the 5 easy payments of 69.95. And, that I would be set up today to begin to make money. It sounded too good to be true so I told her that I did not have my CC with me at the time and that I would have to call her back. She gave me her direct tele#/ext. After hanging up I switched the radio station and heard the same commercial on another radio station. I then decided to check this out before calling her back. I am glad that I did. THANK U...THANK U...THANK U ALL! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! |

ISpeedway is a SCAM I ordered the "FREE" CD for $9.95 S&H and after receiving the "business in a box", glanced over it and promptly lost interest. Imagine my surprise, when a full year later, I got a letter from a collection agency owing $369.00! I was charged a monthly maintenance fee for a website I never created! Three of those months I was out of the country and didn't even have internet service connected. What a bloodsucker this one was! BEWARE! |

Thank you for sharing your stories....,
I got an email from them (uh they say they never spam.. ha! It was in my SPAM folder on AOL) I looked at the pitch sight and then somewhere lost in the you can make tons of money BS was their policy page. I hit select all and copied it to Word. On that page I found the 5 payments of $69 would be started immediately! Wow, the come on and buy it now page didn't mention a thing about this obvious bank buster. Thank you so much for sharing your stories of horror at their hands. I had a similar incident happen with another warehouse web site. I posted some items on eBay-they sold-I went back to website to order and ship-whoops.. they were sold out! So I had to buy the items elsewhere to keep from being charged with fraud and it taught me a lesson. I asked for my money back-they pointed out that after the trial period. which is always very short with these scam artists.. I was locked into a year contract and couldn't get my initial $100 back. I told them they were in breech of contract.. they skillfully pointed out the policy page which gives me all the risk and them none. Buyer beware is all I can tell you. Read the policy page!!! thanks again. |

I guess I wont bother calling that number, and I'll just use Google to get info on setting up a online business, after all, Google brought me to this review site cuz I did a search for "internet speedway" before I did anything else. "Have a marry Christmas"....
First off I want to say thank you to all of you for taking your time to post your stories. They have changed my mind. I heard the adv. the other day on the radio thought I would call hopping to listen to a recording ha-ha, how many times will you hear someone say that, but instead someone answered very promptly so I hung up cause I didn't want to listen to a sale pitch just want to hear what it was about.
Than the other day on my way home from work they call me now how did they get my number?, caller id I guess, so with nothing else to do but drive, i listened to the sales pitch. The sale's person was very pushy and he never took a breath, Oh one thing to remember when a sale's person ever calls you asking for your full name never give it them.
I was trying to be nice with him and when it came time to buy the "free" CD for the shipping i said no not now it's a bad time, he said "it's a bad time to make money", I laughed don't they always try to get you with that?. Now every time i told him i wasn't going to do it right now he would keep trying, I told him when and if i am ready "I would call them". He said "sir if you have any ?'s i can answer them for you ", Then i said no if i have any ?'s I'll write them down and ask the person i call, but not Now thanks to y'all.
When it was all over i told him listen man i listened to your pitch I'm not interested and "Have a marry Christmas". That seemed to piss him off and he said screw you man. and hung up the phone. So ppl do ur home work on Ispeedway and don't do it. |

Don't Do It..., I can't wait until this nightmare is over. I wanted to earn some extra money. At the time it seemed just as interesting as eBay. This is embarrassing to say the least. I can't tell anyone that I have been scammed, and each month I am out of 69.99. I too went for the bait and switch, I called to cancel and was conned into setting up a store....stuff was out of my character, knives galore, cheap. Let me tell my pastor about my website....CANT! the dollar store better ???? this is not worth my time. I can't wait until the 5th payment. the radio station would take this off the air if they knew what Ispeedway was about. Another thing they do not mind taking your money right away. insufficient funds fees.. I've never had so many in my LIFE. I have to close my account. I've never been so broke in my life. have you gone without lunch at work and said at dinner time. I wonder what my kids will eat tonight. You miss that 69.99 because it has made the well run dry. Internet Speedway - Scam..., In August, 2007 I ordered the so-called "free" CD. Due to health reasons I didn't get to it until after Thanksgiving. I thought this might be a good idea. That same evening, I was checking my credit card statement and noticed a $69.99 charge from Ispeedway. I called customer service and was told they were charging my credit card $69.99 since September. I don't remember agreeing to any of this, especially since I ordered this free disk over the phone. |

Trouble With Refund...
Hello Steve, my name is Roseanne and I feel like I have been scammed hard by Internet Speedway. I got suckered into buying one of the web-store packages back in July of this year, only to find I needed to purchase other services in order to get the web site working (such as a domain name, search engines, etc.) I canceled the one service with-in 30days and now they are refusing me a refund. As of the middle of Nov, the web store is still not completely up and running. I thought maybe you might have some suggestions or even someone you could refer me to so I might be able to get some of my money back from this. |

the information he asked "WHY, I JUST TOLD YOU WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT." I told him that I just want to have the information you told me e-mailed to me so I can review it later with my wife. Because I had no knowledge of the charge or that it had been posted, I incurred a $35.00 overdraft fee from my bank that day and then 3 more separate snowballing $35.00 fees for small items I had purchased that day....thank you ISPEEDWAY for not refunding me my $69.99 promptly so on the next two days I incurred two more $35.00 charges from my bank! I-SPEEDWAY WHAT A BIG" RIP-OFF!!!!!...,I wanted to try to inform others of the scam they are getting away with. Just don't believe the lies they tell you, this is supposed to be this big sales while you sleep, so easy it takes very little time, the more you invest the more you'll get out of it. I have spent endless hours, more than my regular job which is full-time and have not been able to get back my initial investment. Then they tell me I haven't spent enough time and effort on it, which was why I got this c***.. in the first place. Then I automatically get billed for a Domain That I didn't even want anymore and they said it was authorized to be billed without my permission for the next year, due to the agreement I took out when I first got the domain, so beware they have tricked people into getting authorization for products they don't even have...I have washed my hands of them and warned them if any further transactions are made from them they will be investigated. It is a shame that these days its hard to protect yourself, read the fine print, they sure aren't going to tell you till its way too late. good luck, and be careful!!!!!!! |

I was hopeful...There are so many scams out there, and people who want to bait you with a low start up price. But when nothing seems to work, and you call the number the fun begins. I was told since I couldn't figure it out, for only $6000 their team of marketing gurus and designers would get my website up and running with 1500 products. Then they would help me get a mentor. I cut him off before he said how much the mentor would be, but the other similar scams wanted anywhere from $6,000-$13,000. I paid the $9.95 for the program and the $29.95 for the internet mall(?) which I never found. So I ate $40.00, and my hope is that you read this before you make the same mistake. When I canceled, the woman who took my call said that a lot of people do not mind dropping $20,000 to get their own business up and running. You do the math! |

Internet Speedway Rip-Off...I ordered their package on my lunch break around 12:30 after hearing a radio commercial and thought it sounded pretty interesting. The order taker was pushy and did the old "bait and switch " routine, by saying the free CD was, but there were shipping/handling fees of $9.95, and oh, by the way, to make a lot of money, get the upgrade package for an additional $29.95. Well I reluctantly agreed to buy instead of hanging up the phone. Plus he assured me that they have a money back guarantee if you return all the materials within 30 days. Back at work , I did some investigating and didn't like what I was finding out. When I got home at 4 pm, I called and canceled my order. But lo and behold "it already shipped" . They said just follow the instructions in my email to return the package. It arrived 7 days later and I returned the unopened material per their instructions the next day.
That night , they called and was wondering why I canceled and I replied it wasn't for me after all. The guy was very pushy and persistent and then informed me that my $39.90 was "non-refundable" and that he implied he had it on tape. During the initial call, I do not remember any mention of "nonrefundable costs". The "free" CD isn't and the trial starts 7 days before you even get the materials! The return info says they must receive the materials back "within 14 days" . They tell you that you have 30 days to test drive their system when in fact you actually have a 7 day window to ases the program. This is deceptive and they are making it extremely difficult to get your money back even when you didn't get anything for your money. I'm doing a dispute with my CC company for their charges which I just know will end up being a battle to resolve. My advice is don't get involved with this company. If it sounds too good to be true, then it most certainly is ... sign me , disgusted in MASS. |

It's Not Ispeedway, You Reap What You Sow...I have to agree with Pamela on this one.. I have just started my own online biz with Ispeedway and call me crazy but I think its more about the educating of oneself before getting into something such as this. I think some of these people want to get a free c.d., insert in drive, click a few buttons and let the c.d. set up and run their store with NO effort on their part. I disagree with the opinion of their quality of merchandise. My clothing that I sell is high end and I'm very proud to have it on my products pages. Until I took the time to investigate the clothing line, I myself thought it was a no name brand, was I fooled. Look, you get what you give in life. And anything worth having is worth working for. I am very well pleased and with a LITTLE education and time, anyone CAN be successful. Instead of taking the time at the computer to bash, maybe that could have been time well spent on clicking on any search engine for simple free marketing strategies for your new website. |

I Fell for It...I was referred to the BBB and found a number of complaints. I am in a major financial bind working two jobs to pay off the debt. I am still not getting any sales and minimal visits. I have been completely taken advantage of. I wasn't comfortable doing it, wanted time to think about it, the staff heard my desperation, they ran me around to other pressure placers, and I fell for it (hook, line, & sinker) because I only wanted to make a little money.
I had very reasonable goals. I don't know what to do. I asked for a refund and they had me listen to a audio and denied my request based on that. I am so stupid. I have just always wanted to own my own business. I had just gotten out of a situation where my ex had all the business, credit, etc. I had nothing and was given nothing. |

Yes, I totally agree this is a scam and needs to be stopped. where do you go to get these crooks stopped from what they are doing. I rcvd a call today from an 800# on my cell while working. the number was not familiar so I didn't answer it. I figured I would call back once I got off work instead of interrupting my work time to talk to whoever was calling. I called the number once I got home only to find out it was a collection agency advising me the internet speedway had sent a bill of $369 for their product.
I informed the agency I will not give these idiots any money and will do all I can legally to have this info removed from my report. Me and my Husband have been in the process of cleaning up our credit report in the past month and now we get this mess. the idiots called with the advertisement advised we could get a free CD .. then after speaking with them we find out we need to pay $9.95 for shipping.... on a credit card .. we figured what the hey we will do this just to see what this was about since it was only $9.95.
They advised we could purchase other products later and would not be obligated or billed any further unless we were interested. where did this $369 come from we didn't even use the free trial period and now we owe for something further we didn't even use. this is another company scamming and getting rich from pushing garbage. is there a way to get relief from this... |

Beware of Ispeedway!!!..., Internet Speedway is a Scam in sheep's clothing. They send you all this junk and tell you that you can earn lots of money w/ little work, the radio commercial claims you can "earn money while you sleep!" What a bunch of baloney, you are supposed to do this "easy", and "effortless" job on the side with minimal effort, well the truth is this "job" is more work than my full time job! I don't have time to do all the marketing it takes to gain traffic to my "store" I haven't even made back the $370 start up fee. What's more is there are other companies like Overstock that can do it better than Speedway gives you the means to. If I could I'd give this Co 0 stars... |

Ispeedway is Not a Scam...I own a Ispeedway store and I can tell you it is not a scam. how ever most of Ispeedway customers do not realize just how much work a online business can be. they believe that if they open for business thousands of people will automatically flock to their new store. the truth is maybe one or two family members or friends visits their store once. they certainly can't make money like that, the problems are Ispeedway sets it's customers up with a good site map however most customers don't know what those letters and numbers are on their home page and so they delete them within a few days of owning the site. honestly like me most Ispeedway customers don't or didn't know what a URL or a SEO is and most don't take the time to learn. another thing Ispeedway does is they have a page for site submitting to search engines yet they do not tell their customers how important it is to have a good description and key words in place before you submit to search engines.
In a way I believe they do set their uninformed customers up to fail. yet if the customer is intelligent enough to to find their own information on how to do business right on the internet money can be made. as far as their products I have found them to be top quality. as well as I have not heard from any of my customers about Ispeedway trying to sell them their package. I also have a store with yahoo and i can tell you Ispeedway was a snap to set up and a lot more eye catching. where as yahoo only had 12 templates, Ispeedway has 200 to choose from. to all you Ispeedway customers or might be customers do your home work any internet business is hard work and if anyone tells you it's easy they are the scammers. even the best internet businesses have to drive traffic to there site Ispeedway is the same way. it is not a scam. only hard work produces results in any business. |
