Internet Speedway Review

Internet Speedway is a company that has been doing some aggressive advertising over the radio.  They've been advertising their offer to give you a free CD and help you start an online e-commerce business.

Quite a few people have spoken out, calling Internet Speedway a scam due to the company's deceptive billing practices.  Most folks don't read the fine print which states that after you request the free CD's your trial period starts.  After 30 days your credit card will be billed 5 payments of $59.00, bringing your free Internet Speedway business to a total cost of $300.

Other complaints have stemmed from the fact that the Internet Speedway customer service phone line also doubles as a sales department.  Customers calling for support are often pitched and encouraged to buy the $3,000 platinum package.

There are many businesses similar to iSpeedway that offer e-store websites.  The same problem that plagues most of them also plagues Internet Speedway and that is that they don't provide enough original products.  This makes it very difficult to be successful because you have to compete with thousands of other marketers who may be more experienced.

Businesses like Internet Speedway will often put you in direct competition with popular wholesale sites like Overstock.com.  A company like Overstock can afford to undercut their prices and are ultimately impossible to compete with.

My opinion is that only an experienced marketer can really be successful with Internet Speedway, and if you're already an experienced internet market you really don't need them.

I just got off the phone with ISpeedway, after hearing their radio ad. The lady told me she would send me a free cd explaining their product, If I could just cover the shipping cost, and if I stayed with the program, after 30 days, I would have to pay them 5 pymts of $59.95 to own my own internet business. When I told her that I did not believe in sending someone money to start with, she was rude, told me I must really not want to go into business, that I was not serious. I hung up on her

I started ispeedway 2 months ago. I have not had much success because I really don't have much time on my hands. I just got around to registering my site today, and I am praying that this online business brings in some serious cash flow in the next couple of weeks. I really hope that I made the right decision in investing my hard-earned money in this business.

Well guys I tried the ispeedway money making machine and was excited to get started and know I am sad that I did.I actually had a vision of making money and they have demolish it for me. These guys can really f#@$ someone up / when there down to there last dollars thinking that the LORD above has actually send someone down here to help us to get out of debt or even for us to get started on something and then this goes down. Now I know there is an evil mind out there and one day will probable see him next on TV in front of the Judge for scamming the innocents. DON'T BUY INTO THIS MONEY TAKING MACHINE LISTEN!!! DON"T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been with them for 3 years. Haven’t made any real money. I am probably out of $12000 over that period, but I realize it takes an investment (and sometimes failure) to be successful. I retired from work 3 years ago and spend 6 to 8 hours a day on this. Didn’t have any problems with their technical support or customer service. They were always polite and helpful. The prices of the products from Warehouse Direct are extremely high. Cannot compete with an Overstock.com type of operation. Don’t recommend iSpeedway unless you have a lot of your own products to sell. Time for me to shut it down.

My brother bought into this a couple of years back and never really had the time to get it up and running. He was aware that he was billed for the program itself, however, he was NOT aware that they had also been charging him the $29.99 monthly website hosting fee all this time... he had never noticed it on his statements until now. So back in May he gave it to ME to see if I could do anything with it... since then I have had to "upgrade" EVERYTHING! Costing hundreds MORE dollars, and I have YET to have ONE SINGLE HIT to my website! They have a tool on there where you go to "submit your site to hundreds of search engines", yet, I have not been able to find it myself amongst ANY search engine! And they want more money {of course!} to get your own domain! They dollar and dime you TO DEATH. Every thing you DO on this site requires more money it seems... but we were/are "assuming" that it takes a little money to make a little money, so we were holding out hope in that regards, that is UNTIL I read these posts! I've had my site up and going since around June and have not sold one single peice of merchandise.. how can you sell things after all when no one can find your website??? I had been telling my brother {since he is the one who finances it} that I'm wondering if this isn't a bottomless money pit scam, now I'm convinced that it probably is. It's sad too because he is out of at least $3000 with probably ZERO chance of ever recovering any of it... and I am out of HOURS of time simply WASTED setting up this crap! The only people getting rich here are THOSE criminals.

After reading the comments and actually trying the program out for myself, I have come to a conclusion that it's just like any other business... In that most people will fail. However, I don't know what percentage that I fall into but I have had some really good success while using ispeedway and running my own business. I started out with the trial and after 3 months I upgraded to a superstore. Overall I have probably invested about $2500 and made over $10K in a little over 6 months. I couldn't be happier with my results. When it comes down to it, people have to realize that running a business isn't for everyone.

I Have paid them over 4000 dollars and still have nothing the web site wont work and now they want me to pay another 2000 dollars for an I acadamy which consists of 8 one hour sessions, this is nothing but a scam and I am sending everything I have got to my state Attorney General and to the consumer protection agency also the Arizonia Att. General and the U.S Attorney General. Something should be done with a scam like this.

Hey people, Is there "ANY" for sure, secure, and dependable online jobs out there that is for real? Why is everyone after "ME" and "MY" money? Hey I'm in need here, and I want a job! I'm willing to work! Is it that? What they (the scammers) all feed off of? "MY" desparation? Yah, I'm pretty desprate alright! No medical insurance (unless) I "LIE" to public assistance for it! I want to tell the truth, I'd like to work, and pay for my insurance. However with certin things that are in my life, working a public job has been out of the question (for me). I really do need a "REAL" job ... NOW! I am asking if anyone can point me in the right direction? Or as for jobs, and making any money, is my computer pretty much worthless? I am so sad and feel very discouraged, and I LIED today! And they suspect that I did. But, I really need health insurance ..... even if I have to lie to get it. But, I'd rather pay for it. But, Where's the jobs at? Where are they at? I hate lying. And I want a job, God know the tears I've shed looking and praying for an OPEN DOOR. I am still in the 30 day trial period with ispeedway, and I've bought 2 upgrades (Turbo, and imall) but after reading these statements most of you made, I feel hopeless. Why should I have to lie? I don't do drugs, I don't smoke, I don't drink, I love God and my fellow man. I go to church, and that means something to me! I believe in living a life that is pleasing to God! (Lying makes me feel very guilty, and greatly convicted)....... And so, I'm a LAIR now, and I don't want to lie, that's why I want a job! I thought that ispeedway was an answer. I thought that ispeedway would be something, ... something that I could do. But now, I don't know! I guess I should get out of ispeedway while I still can, huh?! What am I going to do about lying for medical? As it is right now, I can not afford to pay for it. .... AND I'VE BEEN S I C K! Hart, lungs, head, tumors, blood clots, muscle weakness, anxiety & depression and so on, AND SO ON! I am not out for pity, but understanding. And help, if I can find it out there. (Without Lying)! I wish you all well. And I am praying for you all to find "YOUR" OPEN DOORS too. I know that I'm not the only one out here , in need. And if anyone has an/the answer to this situation please let the rest of us in on it. Thank You, ....... Kim L. in L. Ohio a.k.a. Lair (in self-condemnation). I want The Lord's forgiveness. And to be able to forgive myself too. A real job, medical insurance, and the truth will solve the problem, well that and my healing that The Lord already did for us all (if we could only believe, and trust in God, His Word and Work for it). ...... God really is Good, even if/when we're not.

well, i'm hopeful to fight it out with ispeedway on till i get back my $2000,is a scam, the so call superstore they charged $5000 for it but i gave $2000 first. and their main guy called Frank promised to help me anytime but never, they were rude and the so called products were too expensive and instead of 5000 items, i never see up to 50 items. even when i needed a laptop i couldn't see a single one in their so called superstore. the thieves again went a billed $250 from my credit card but i gave Frank the fear of his life and my $250 was refunded. but now the battle is on for my $2000, and i promised you i will get that money no matter how long but i will get. guy don't give up, we can publish about them on youTub and other popular site. is a scam, danger beware of ispeedway.com.

Just recieved the starter kit,to compare with another similar system.Ispeedway products are outdated and are pretty close to retail price.I could see why some people add thier own.I was up till four in the morning yesterday researching thier products and prices, templates, designs etc.For the most part as with any buisness you recieve what you put in it,but motivation and believing in your product is also key. After comparing Ispeedway with the other system I've researched, the products and prices are so much better than those of Ispeedway,Every item reguardless of price, members,(only one member type:),pay 1/3 of a descent retail price.Monthly member fee 10$ less a month, website included.I'm not bashing Ispeedway,I just think those of you guys making money with Ispeedway or at least putting in some effort would do really good with with this other system.

To anyone wanting to get into the e-commerse business or any other business, If you do your reseach first before you think about getting into a business that you see a advertisement in any media (TV, Radio, magazines, Internet) you will be able to make a wise dicision. I must say that anything that you get involved with from the ad's that you see or hear are businesses that thrive on the "average" person that is trying to make a better life for themselves are going to fail. They sell failure and the average are the one's who fail because they know that average will not do the work to reseach and find out as much as they can before they buy into something. Be smart,
don't be lazy. The internet has many resources to get information on anything! Doing research takes a little time and legwork but not your Money!

Hi there, I am in the trial period and want to say that the customer service could not be nicer. They have been so patient and helpful!! All of the people that are complaining were looking for something for nothing. This is your own business people!!! You have to invest great deals of time and energy into something to make something! You have to market your products, go to your town's chamber of Commerce, to maybe small businesses in your area and get your website out there, as well as search engines and maybe even adding your own products! Where else could you get your own website with an initial investment so low!! The negative comments are all by people that did not truely give this company a chance to make you some money!!

I PASSED UP THE TRIAL AND UPGRADED TO THEIR SO CALLED "SUPERSTORE" ( A CUSTOM DESIGNED WEBSITE, SO THEY SAY),BECAUSE CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID YOU WILL NEVER MAKE ANY MONEY USING THE TRIAL WEBSITES. ALMOST EVERY OTHER WEBSITE I CHECKED THAT WAS A SUPERSTORE HAD BASICALLY THE SAME FORMAT. NEEDLESS TO SAY I BIT THE BAIT AND TRIED TO RUN. I SPENT COUNTLESS HOURS ON THIS BUSINESS THAT CAUSED ME COMPLETE FINANCIAL TROUBLE. FIRST OFF, THE PRODUCTS YOU GET FROM THEIR WAREHOUSE,(WAREHOUSE DIRECT)ARE WAY OVER PRICED. I LOOKED AT THESE COSTS, THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE WHOLESALE, NOT EVEN CLOSE. I COULD BUY 98% OF THESE PRODUCTS ANYWHERE ELSE AND GET THEM CHEAPER. SO TRY MARKING ITEMS UP THAT ALREADY COST YOU AS MUCH AS RETAIL OR MORE, OR VERY VERY CLOSE TO RETAIL, DO THE MATH, YOU MAKE NOTHING. YOU CANNOT NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO COMPETING TO ANY OTHER BUSINESS IN THE INDUSTRY. THE PRODUCTS THAT I WAS ACTUALLY ABLE TO SELL, I HAD TO MARK DOWN SO LOW TO COMPETE. BY THE TIME YOU PAY FOR ADVERTSING ON GOOGLE, YAHOO, ETC.(PPC, PAY PER CLICK), YOU ARE IN THE HOLE, AND NOT GETTING OUT. THE ONLY WAY I HAD ANY SALES ON MY WEBSITE WAS, PAY PER CLICK MARKETING, WHICH I SPEEDWAY DON'T TELL YOU. THEY MAKE IT LIKE YOU ARE GOING TO PUBLISH YOUR WEBSITE, AND WATCH THE MONEY ROLL IN. YOU GET VERY LITTLE OR NO TRAFFIC TO YOUR WEBSITE, WITHOUT PPC. PAY PER CLICK (PPC) DOES NOT INSURE YOU ARE MAKING ANY SALE. YOU PAY EVERY TIME SOMEONE CLICKS YOUR AD, AND THE CONVERSION RATIO IS EXTREMELY LOW, BECAUSE AS I SAID BEFORE, YOU HAVE THE HIGHEST PRICE PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET!!
I HAD CONSUMERS CONTACT THE BUSINESS AND EMAILING ME "ARE YOU INSANE?" "ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE OF GOLD?" "WHAT MAKES YOUR PRODUCTS SO SPECIAL, THAT YOU CAN CHARGE THESE PRICES?"
AND THEN THERE IS THAT THING THEY SAY YOU CAN SELL THESE PRODUCTS ON EBAY. HOLY COW, WHAT MISTAKE THAT IS. YOU ARE NOW THE VERY HIGHEST PRICE IN THAT MARKET. OTHER EBAYERS CAN SELL THE SAME PRODUCTS FOR WAY LESS THAN THESE PRODUCTS COST YOU. AND DON'T FORGET EBAY'S LISTING FEES,YOU PAY EVEN IF THE ITEM DOESN'T SELL. AND IF YOU DO GET LUCKY TO SELL SOMETHING,YOU GET THE SELLER'S FEE.
OVERALL, THERE IS WAY LOT MORE IN THIS BUSINESS THAN ISPEEDWAY TENDS TO TELL. I SPENT $2500.00 ON MY WEBSITE, PAID ROUGHLY $100.00 A MONTH FOR FEES TO ISPEEDWAY, FOR NEARLY 18 MONTHS.I PAID, APROX, $20,000.00 IN ADVERTISING COSTS, AND WENT NOWHERE.I NEVER WANTED TO GIVE UP, I THOUGHT I HAD A CHANCE. BUT FINALLY AFTER GETTING KNOCKED TO THE GROUND, MONTH AFTER MONTH, WHEN YOU GET THE CREDIT CARD BILL. I FINALLY PULLED THE PLUG ON ISPEEDWAY, AND MY WEBSITE. AND EVEN AFTER I CANCELLED, THEY STILL WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR THE WHOLE MONTH OF SERVICE. NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM IN COMPLETE FINANCIAL DISRAY, AND NEAR BANKRUPCY BECAUSE OF THEIR MISLEADING PRACTICES.

I ordered ispeedway and everything was fine at first then at the end of when I had to make first installment payment they told me I was to late and took my money out account. But,get this they told me I had to have a web site design person.I said thats not what your commercial said. So,they took 69.99 the first month and they said they would cancel. The killer part was that I talk to some one every week and they said everything was allright. But,when Iask for my money back they said I needed website back round. They had false ads.

A freind of mine tried to get me a job there and I went through the week long training. I have to tell you I knew from the first day of orientation I was not going to work there. They are well aware of the fact that there radio ads are decieving and really have no intention of sending you a CD they really just want to send you a email
with info, sell you a sub-domain and a membership to a warehouse filled with old products anyone can buy at overstock.com for less. Once you find out that its not worth anything they pitch you on a custom site and a better warehouse membership for obscene amounts of cash. All that week I was thinking what a scam, when they showed us examples of two of there customers that actually had success with them, the two site were selling their own products that they created not ISW warehouse products. They actually tell you in training the only way to be successful is to have your own thing. Needless to say I hung in there untill the training was over, got my check and never came back.
P.S Ispeedway is actually illegal in a couple of states because of there shady practises.

i haven't even open the box that i have got yet. i have had some hard ships that lead me to completely forget about the program until i get a call saying i owe them money. when i wanted to cancell they said that i can't because i was over the 30 day trial. and i didn't agree to that but the said that i was on the back of one of the papers, but how was i supposed to know when i haven't even opened the box, and why would i read it. the whole back of the sheet is filled from corner to corner with small print, that contains mostly bullsh1t. i speedway can burn in hell. they are vary rude and make no exceptions.

i speedway is a vulture, there just out there to suck the life and money out of you, and they don't care about ruining people's lives. There customer service is very rude with none stop talking not allowing you to get a word in, even if you are talking they wont stop and just talk right over. this company is horrible and i don't know if they teach people how to be heartless bastards, and if that is just what they look for in an employee. i hope there company burns down with everyone in it.

Internet Speedway stoled money out of my account after I canceled. I finally had to closed the account so they would stop stealing my money. I lost my wife to cancer and wrote them a cancelation letter. They told me I cancelled the wrong way. After several calls and emails I had to close the bank account so they would stop stealing my money. They are a number one scam ring. Hell is waiting for them.

LOL LOL the Lord works in mysterious ways it took one crook clearwire to save me from another crook hehe. God Bless you all for writeing the Reviews because I would have sent my new card number in and got money took out of my bank account I can't aford.

It is sad that some of you have had issues with ispeedway. But in all honesty alot of it is probably your fault for getting involved in something you dont know how to do and cant follow simple instructions as to canceling BEFORE your 30 days are up. I ordered i speedway over a year ago due to a family illness i cancelled after 2 weeks. 6 monthes later i gave it a try.Since then i have made well for myself and got a lot more out of it than i put in. If you have common sence you know in order to make money you have to invest money.Ispeedway has done well for me and i since have got a friend involve who does well too.

Bought Platinum SuperStore for 8000 Thousand dollars. Big mistake. I didn't do may homework.Part of this package was 9 coaching sessions which included how to run a store.Never received any training in marketing, seo, adwords,PPC, E-mail opt-in,Etc.Took 4 weeks for store to be custom designed and after seeing it looks generic and like any other of the stores they have designed. This store was the best store they sold and it was to be a complete turn key operation. Store was loaded with 3500 of best selling products from Warehouse Direct,( which is nothing more than middle men buyiny from wholsalers and selling back to the store at a vary thin profit margin),which looked vary similair to the inventories of other stores they built for other people.Do a search on Alexa which ranks web sites and shows links that are associated with a site. Went to the national BBB and found similiar information about Ispeedway as previous postings.Ispeedway also has full control over your wed site even if you have a registered domain name.It appears that if a search was done for xyz.ispeedway.com it would look like any other of their web designs for a person wanting to run an e-buisness but in fact a site ran from ispeedway to be used in sale promotions. Part of my package was 1,100,000 gaureenteed directed visitors to may site which turned out to be a software generator program that makes hits to my sight on a time bases, about 2 hunbred hits a day not counting ispeedways hits to my site from them checking it.I could go on in great lenths. If you would like to see my wed site go to pinchnsave and see what 8000 dollars buys you feel free. you could try to contract me at that website with sugeggestions on what to do but the funny part is I have never been able to recieve e-mail or I have tried to buy something from a friends computer and coudn't. So other than looking at my web site if anybody knows of a e-commerce attnorney please have them give me a call. Not too many Bill Lehmans that live in Kenosha WI. If anbody wants more information on ispeedway I will be glad to help out.But for now I have to figure how to turn a 8000 dollar loss into a positive.Oh ,I voiced a complaint with ispeedway about a month ago and never heard from them.

I answered their radio ad and was asked for my credit card info for a small charge for postage.Once I gave that he went on to tell me about another package that I could get to get started sooner and I had 30 days to return it without charge.I agreed and when I got it I decided I didn't want it.The return instructions said I had to call an 800 number for a confirmation number to return it.I CALLED FOR 3 DAYS AND KEPT GETTING A BUSY SIGNAL !!! Finally I called the number that I called to order it and was told to send it back to the address it came from(I think it was in Kentucky) with a return signature confirmation label.I had to call my credit card bank and tell them to stop payment to internet speedway. This was about a year ago,and our local radio station,WBEN,is advertiseing them again after I wrote and told them of my experience with the company.

I'm sorry if I'm suprised by the negative comments i've read but this almost seems like a joke. I've had my business for 2 years now with ispeedway, I have nothing but great things to say and have had great fortune. A friend of mine was going to sign up recently when she found this comment page and told me about it. While it's true that I've invested about $1000 into my business (software & upgrades w/hosting & additional product access), I've made easily over $50K over the past 2 years. I sell their items and my items on my website and on Ebay. I can't understand what went wrong for anyone that has negative things to say but I do stand by my decision to use their software and work with this company.

I fell for it as well and have been billed $279.96 for the past 4 months, and now they are turning it over to collections. This is happening to alot of people and something has to be done about it. I hope all you people wont just stand by and let it happen. 1000 people filing complaints and wanting refunds has alot more weight then just me doing it. I am filing a complaint with the state of Florida, the BBB and with Suceed Corp itself. I will be refunded money withdrawn from my account no matter how long it takes or what the cost. Its people that do nothing that allow companies like this to take advantage of anyone they can get on the phone!

I've heard their radio spots for quite some time but never let them "set the hook".
It seemed odd to me that a company that dealt solely in internet sales gave a phone number to call and NOT a website address

I goofed when I wrote this the first time and didn't fix it so I'll fix it now! I'm Sorry!

Full comment
As of yesterday, my account was debited for $800. This is about all I have to buy food, pay bills and meet other expenses since both my wife and I are totally blind and are on fixed incomes. I have been looking for some means of making money on the internet which would enable me to keep up with expenses much better than I do presently! I wouldn't care if I made enough to no longer need the fixed income so long as I could keep up with all my expenses and maybe better my life! I'm afraid I'm a bit desperate though at this writing! I had my bank put a stop payment on them and hopefully I'll get my money in order to pay my bills! I really should have known better! I figured since I heard it on the radio both regular and satellite radio, it would be a reputable company! I'm wondering now whether some people are making money at the expense of others! I should have read these comments here before proceding with my own investigation. Well! I guess I found out the hard way!

It is not proper for people to withdraw money from my account without my authorizing them to do so! This isn't right at all and I don't care whether you call me lazy or not! This isn't right! I'm certain if I withdrew money from any of your accounts without your approval, you wouldn't be happy either! I really should have googled this before I made any calls!

Another challenge I have is trying many of these programs with screen reader access technology! Some of these are very difficult if not impossible to work with at times! I too have seen the data entry programs or rebate processing programs. I question whether I could even work with such programs especially if I had to deal with graphics! Enough for now! I'll write back if I get my money back!

I called when I heard the ad on the radio. I talked to a guy named Kevin Swingel. The guy told me that I would be making hundreds every day and assured me that by taking the upgrades I would double my earning potential. I tried it for 20 days and wanted to cancel. I didn't have to pay more than the 9.95 and 29.95 for the upgrade but I only made about $75 during the entire time I tried it. This guy should have been more honest with me.

I got ripped off by this company after losing my job. The sales person told me that I could sell brand names like "sony" and "x-box". In reality there products are after-market and mediocre. I canceled and they still charged me the following month after the person I spoke with assured me that I would not be charged. Now I'll have to deal with that mess.

Does anyone out there know the physical address for Internet Speedway. I think it is time that we report their "scam" to the authorities in their home district. Like so many others I fell into their Lair. They never gave me the help they promised in even putting up a web site but continued to not only charge me $300.00 for their bogas program but started charging me $29.95 a month for "hosting fees" for a web site that wasn't even up and running. these people are BAD and need to be dealt with from a criminal basis. I intend to file a complaint with the Florida Attorney General as well as the authorities in their location- If I can find out where they are hiding. Can anyone out there help?? Thanks

Okay, I listen to the major radio stations and its amazing on how they do the sales approach on the radio.

To get your free cd just call 1-800 number

I even have it in my phonebook. I spoke to the gentleman who actually was cool with me on the phone and I asked him why is it $9.95? b/c he told me the information on the cd its free but its not free. $65. per month after that which means after 12 months if I am correct on this is around $800 a month.

From reading others on here it does sound like you are putting in 1000's of dollars and not getting anything done correctly.

Also he did mention that 65 - 70% succeed b/c the other 30% are just "dumb". I don't know what that means. he told me that people think that they will make a million dollars.

"Okay, so now that we went over this are you READY TO MAKE REAL MONEY"

i told him now that I am not buying into it at all.

For me, iSpeedway is just an average program..you just need to have a lot of dedication in order for it work..also the over all is not so expensive well unless if you upgrade your account..also the interface is very user friendly..one of the problems I've noticed though is that the free templates made the sites look a bit similar with one another..also the way they market this program is for novice only..which means that more experienced Internet Marketers when they used this program find it a bit boring and too easy.

I'm going to talk to my bank about putting alerts on my account because I don't want them taking anything. He asked me if I bougth things online. I'm paranoid that maybe he can get my info with only my name and address so imma cover all my bases. As for those of you on here talking about it working for you. I don't trust you guys. I believe you work for the company and cannot be taken seriously.
I'm sorry for those of you who feel for this. As soon as he asked me for my money. I said let me research you and see what's really good. I wanted to trust them because i had heard their ad on a Christian radio show, but lest face it yall. They get paid to advertise just like anyone else. I didn't trust them from the get-up. There's always a catch. I have no problem sending 10 bucks to get what they were claiming to give you, but their ad said the cd was free. So after I got thru the good talk he asked me to pay the shipping and handling. I said I wanted to make sure they were legit and he was really adamant about geting me to commit to the ten dollars before I got off the phone. He gave me a number to call him back, but I don't think I will. This business is too shady. It would be something if it were only a few of you complaining, but most of you are. So thank you for saving me ten dollars and a headache.
I'm also skeptical about these so-called "success stories". I wouldn't be suprised if you guys are sales associates for the company. You have the same tone of voice. " If you don't do it you're just lazy..." Nope! I'm good. I'll start my business legitimately.
Also guys, the man (Sony) tried to be very misleading. He tried to send me to his website like that couldn't be fraudulent and was very pressed for my ten dollars.
If you're legit, you would encourage looking up your credentials. He was really pressed. Please beware... They are a company, but from what I'm hearing, a crappy one.

I have had the program now going into my 8th month. I can't understand all the negativity and "bad mouthing" of this company. They have all been polite, helpful, and encouraging during the entire time I've been running my business.
I was recently on a message board when I saw someone say that they were charged for $69.99 from "Ispeedway" without permission, I asked more questions to this person and came to find out that they were already past the 30 day trial and was billed the first payment of $69.99 on day 35. They then decided to quit the program and wanted their money back, from what the person said, at first they were unable to get a refund but after repeated emails to the owner, the guy got a refund and he still got to keep the $400 he made while trying out the system. I second the notion that "Running a business isn't for everyone" but I couldn't be happier with my decision to try this. I am currently making an average of $3000 a month and I'm also selling a combination of the warehouse items and my own items. I have exceeded all my expectations and Ispeedway helped me do that. It's my belief that some/most of the horror stories are made up by people that are too scared to try this opportunity and others that are bitter because of their lack of success.

I just heard Ispeedway's information on the radio and called them. Having been thru alot recently investing in real estate with an investor group that advertises similarly to this co, I told the guy on the phone that I would never, ever, buy something without researching it first. I kept asking him to send me something in the mail. Nope. I asked him for a list of products that I could sell. I couldn't get anything up front - no information at all except what he told me on the phone. Weird, I thought. Finally, I harassed him enough that he gave me the co.'s web site address. Then I googled it. Thank God I did! It is fraudulent criminal activity for a co. to use cc #'s without permission (i.e., charging more than the $9.95 before the 30 days are up). If such were to occur, I would refer them to the DA. Also the BBB. I am sorry to all of you who have gotten such a raw deal. It seems like this co. can work for a few people, but not for most people and that their products are crap, which is why they don't provide any info up front. Thank you for saving me from yet another horrible headache.

TJ   Butte, MT

How Ispeedway works is actually different then described above.
I love my website and was proven wrong when I thought that I couldn't run my own business and make good money. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
I paid $9.95 initially for the shipping and handling, after my 30 day trial I made a little over $600 and decided to keep it. I called them back to pay the software in full for $350(otherwise it would have been 5 monthly payments of $69.99, totalling $350).
Not long after starting I was contacted by a marketing person and asked to upgrade to a bigger store package. I declined and figured I would be fine and I was right. I'm not going to lie though, I had to put in some time and effort to make this work but I'm glad I did. I'm making about $3500 a month while still working at my full time job, the extra money not only covers my house payment but also gives me extra money to send to my son at college. Enough about me, stop complaining and realize that running a business isn't for everyone.

I recieved an e-mail from this company, and I called in to inquire about hoe to make money online. After talking with them I spent the 9.95 shipping for the business. I did happen to upgrade to the turbo version. They claim you can be a millionaire (i am far from that) but I have had some realistic success. The first couple of months I only was making around 2k per month. After working with their marketing consultants, they have hellp me raise the monthly income to over 4k a month. I would suggest this to anyone who wants to supplement their income.

I have had some decent success so far with this program. I am not yet a millionaire as the radio ad mentioned but I have been able to make an average of $2000 a month in revenue for the past 5 months. I have not upgraded to any super store options but I do have the "turbo store" and "IMALL" (both which I paid $30 for as part of a promotion). I would reccommend it for at least a test drive.

Stop bitching because you couldnt get a business for free.... what other business could you own for 350 bucks... seriously.. but whatever, think what you want.. im making tons of money!

Chas
After reading your comment, it seems I have renewed hope that I could make some money from this business. I paid $5,000 for the superstore and I have not been able to sell a pin. I wonder if you have some advice for me on how to make this work as I have ran out of ideas. Being unemployed when I signed on, I thought it would work for me to borrow the money and invest in this. Since I have already invested, I am just trying to make it work. Please any advice you have on how to succeed in it will be appreciated.

The ispeedway academy is not just it for me now. I need some real advice from somebody who has succeeded.

Worth a try...
I read these comments right after I agreed to do "the free 30 day trial". I was very worried and felt I had been duped, well I got my password and link before I got the package, I just decided to make the best of it and try it.
I can tell you that I have been doing suprisingly decent with my site, I've been selling a combo of my own items with some of the available warehouse items. A good tip that I can advise is to mention your site on myspace and/or facebook pages.
Obviously I don't know how much anyone actually put into building and running their sites but I found it pretty easy to set up and run without having to buy or upgrade into what the "marketing person" was trying to get me to do. I would reccomend at least trying the 30 days, if you're serious about dedicating some time into building your site and making some money, it's worth it. I called on day 28 of my test drive to cancel and was about to do it but I figured I had already made $250 so I might as well just keep it. Hope this helps.

The majority of the negative comments I see on here are only about the mere shipping and charging which only grazes the surface of what this company could potentially be...This is not near enough to convince me that this company is a scam. Have any of you taken the initiative to actually follow up to the full extent of what this company has to offer? Starting a business takes a lot of time, money, and the will to take a risk, that is simply common sense. Those of you who make all of these assumptions before actually putting in the time and effort to see what this company really has to offer should not be entrepreneurs. As a matter of fact, if you aren't willing to put in any time or money to follow through with starting a business then you should go back to working your job. But no offense to that, it takes all kinds. Have any of you actually done anything with this besides the first step? If so, I'm all ears.

This program is all about the bait and switch. Sure, you can get a generic template site going selling complete trash that no one will buy for a small amount of money. But any of the products worth selling require MUCH more up front capital, that you could be using in a myriad of better ways (IMO tossing it on 00 at a roulette table is a better investment). I have one very gullible friend that I attempted to help with this program for months, telling her that is was a scam the entire time. Eventually, she believed me...

Thank you for your comments. I was just on the phone with them as I was reading the comments. I tried for 5 minutes to politely hangup, but he just keep on trying to get me to invest that $9.95. When I told him no thank you the last time he hung up on me. Thanks everyone for saving me $10.00

*****DON'T DO IT - DON'T DO IT - DON'T DO IT*****
INTERNET SPEEDWAY IS A TOTAL RIP-OFF NO MATTER WHAT PLAN THEY ARE PUSHING ONLINE TODAY
I fell for the hype in Jan 2007 and paid approximately $1400.00 for a "professionally done web-site" and all I got was a generically templated site that I could have probably gotten for a lot less elsewhere. Working with the web-site was tedious and really time consuming and when I called for the "free" assistance, I was given a song and dance to move up to a $3000.00 dollar site.
The products that were advertised were for the higher level site, but that wasn't revealed until I had already joined and been scammed. The products that were available to me at the lower level were inferior and over priced.
Customer service was less than helpful for the most part. It consisted mainly of being handed off to a salesman and being pounded to upgrade and always at higher and higher dollar amounts.
I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Texas Attorney General, the Arizona Attorney General, and the US Attorney General and received all but $400.00 back from the company and felt lucky to receive that.
If you were scammed by these people, fight for your money back and keep on until they at least give most of it back. It can be done.

You have to admit that it sounds good...until you call and get sucked into spending $300. My first phone call to ispeedway resulted in me purchasing a free trial...wait a minute I just paid $300 for a FREE trial!! I was told that I would be able to sell products such as Playstation, XBox, Sony, etc. When I asked which particular models he was talking about he didn't have access to that info. Lets face it no one wants to buy a Playstation 2. That didn't stop me though. I bought the package anyway. Minutes later I received an email with my activation #...called a marketing representitive as I was directed and her advice to me was to click on everything and learn about the website. Which I did and still was unable to build a website that was even remotely appealing. The most exciting part was building my store (briefly) until I discovered that I only had access to a very limited amount of product. I called to return my package and was offered the free upgrade to 500 products and a professionally build website as well. I think I'm gonna have to pass and return my package. I can only hope that I can get my money back.

Ispeedway is big RIPOFF,everytime I called for support or technical advice. I got a sale pitch from a high pressure salesperson. Most of their merchandise is extremely over priced. I personally didn't have any good dealing with them.
My daddy always told me the best way to double your money is to fold over and put it your pocket.

BEWARE!!!! INTERNET SPEEDWAY IS OPERATING UNDER A NEW NAME" INTERNET CAREER KIT" Notice, that the men they use for testimonals are the same! Then notice, that they state in the Internet Career Kit, that the first man says he made over $175K well that would be hard since that company website site was developed in 2007! Don't waste your time or money. All of the products I price compared with OEM and other EBay sellers were higher than retail and they are offering them at wholesale. You are doomed from the get go with an up-side-down inventory cost.

Hi everyone I just received an e-mail from ispeedway and called them immediatly. They talk a good game. After reading all of your comments I now have mixed emotions about it. I am a single mother of 5 and I could use the moneyif it is as good as ispeedway claims. If I had to spend anything over the $300, it wouldbe a problem for me. They are uploading some information via-email until I get my prepaid visa card loadedto pay for s&h. Could someone give me an honest heartfelt opinion pplease?

i can not tell you how disappointed i am with ispeedway. they have the right name because they sped away with my hard earned money.the traffic that is promised to you seems to me like some type of computer generated hits, for they never look beyond your home page. this means your product is never seen. don't be fooled as i was. want to double your money, fold it in half. stay away for ispeedway.

Do Not purchase anything from ispeedway!!! They will take your money and will do nothing to help after that but give you a run a round. We were one of the idiots to give them over 3000 dollars and make zero dollars after much time and more money spent paying for other services to help our web site. They say that they will direct buyers to your site and we did get visitors (scam), but no person looked at anything behind the first page which we talked to them about and got another run a round. Please donot fall for their line of B. The products that they give you to sell are overstock type and no great buys on the customers side

I received the software package and determined it was not what I was looking for. I had decided on an alternate vendor and contacted the company for authorization to return what was received. Authorization was received and once I returned the package I continued to be billed every month.

Upon receiving the on-going billing I contacted the company and was told they did not show any return from me and would investigate. They would stop the billing the date of my call but would not refund any amounts prior to my telephone call.

I was told if I could not prove that I had returned the package or if they could not find my telephone number in their customer service data base there was nothing they could do and they would not return prior charges.

Had I not returned the product within the specific time frame I would be more understanding but I had followed their directions to the letter.

I wonder how many others have gone through this same situation and how much the company had made based on not fulfilling their stated advertisement of full refund?

Sorry Guys,
I haven't had but good results with ISpeedway, Inc. They have been more than helpful to get my Superstore set up just as I want it. I had choices of what color and background and everything. I'm looking forward to my online store sales very soon. They were VERY nice to me, explained everything I was getting with the silver superstore upgrade. I took my time in deciding IF I wanted to upgrade because of the prices. They were very patient with me through it all. Sometimes I DID get a response for me to go ahead and give them my credit number so we could get started. But like I said before you have that option to decide when and they allow you to take your time when you are ready. Afterall, They have to make living too. But no pressure sales whatsoever in my experience with ISpeedway Inc.
Good Luck in your adventures.
A word Of Thought: This takes VERY hard work and lots of reading and analyzing the situation as to whether it's for you personally.

It's too embarrassing to admit to the monumental stupidity I excersized by getting involved with ispeedway. The salesman was great and I bought the program hook, line, and sinker. Too bad I wasn't smart enough to have found this blog B4 getting into this monstrous scam. God help me in trying to get a refund from my credit card company.

I ordered my CD from Ispeedway back in Feb so now my 30 days of free trial is over. I had to work very hard and long hours to set up my website but I did it all myself. I have never done anything like this before also. Added products and made my website appealing to my customers. Yes, I had to pay $9.95 for the P&H of the CD. I also paid 199.99 to set up to have the ability to accept credit cards and transfer money if I have a sale on my website. Applied Merchants Bank was very helpful in getting the account set up so I would have the ability to send and receive payments to and from my customers. I'm sorry guys but I think I have something going for me here at Internet Speedway Inc. But it takes a LOT of time and patience and determination on your part to get it off the ground. I have added lots of beautiful jewelry and cosmetics to my website. I haven't upgraded to a Super Store yet. But in time I will so I'm looking forward to that very soon. But I did learn a lot setting up my "tiny" website that I didn't know before. So when I "do" get upgraded to the super store I will have already known the basics. I think I will do great. I have plans to do LOTS of advertising, word of mouth, flyers, newspapers, and online. It takes money to make money and you definitely don't get anything free.

Listen I just started with Ispeedway and I've talked to several account executives since I ordered the trial and to me there customer service has been superb for me, I called today and after research I really wanted to upgrade and get my site built professionally, well while I was talking with an customer service rep. I told him I wanted to cancell my membership and he said ok, was there any reason why I wanted to cancell and I said yes, that I would not be able to get the upgrade because I would not be able to afford it, well he said I'm going to upgrade your account up 500 products and have it professionlly built for me for free, and I said wow, now that was cool becuase to upgrade is very costly, so I didn't cancell because I finally got my site on google in the number one spot for all my SEO efforts. These people at ispeedway have been nothing but nice to me since I first ordered, I have no complaints, and I'm so sorry that things have not been working out for all the other people with bad experiences, I think if you talk to these people like you have a little knowledge about online business, to me it seems that they have gone out of there way to really help us out.

I have recently heard the internet speedway advertisements on the radio and I decided to give it a try. Sure, the CD was free, but I had to pay $10 for shipping. I have not once used the CD. They gave me all the information I needed to get started via e-mail.

So here's the catch: You can only put products on your page from THEIR warehouse. They don't exactly have the best product inventory. As you browse through the categories and products, reaching the 4th or 5th page in EVERY category, you'll start noticing a bright "Upgrade Membership Now" logo on every product. You can not add that product to your page until you upgrade for approximately $3000. And most of the products you will view on the first 1-4 pages that you ARE allowed to add to your site to sell, aren't the things people are searching for on the internet. I even paid an extra $15 for a traffic-builder for my page (which, by the way, doesn't work) I have had 0 visits to my site and 0 sales! I will surely be sending this back during the trial period!

I have been reading everbody's comments and am truely not certain what to think. I was self-employed for several years and do know it takes a great deal of work. I still think I can build an internet business and have some ideas but not sure which way to go. Thanks Pamala from CA i was just reading your comments from back in sept. and that is what i thought.
