Thanks for the comments, I received an email on data entry but I thought it might be a scam just like all the others. I do know of two on-line jobs that are good and one that a child can even do. Check these out as well. Thanks guys.

I thought it was too good to b true my own time, work when ever I want and determine how much I will earn as well. My co worker told me to find out if it was legitimate or not. TY for the info. and the recommendations. The work from home jobs that I know for a fact are legitimate, because I have worked with them are liveops.com (requires a $50 BGCHK fee but it's worth it), westathome.com and 1800flowers.com(only in certain states). and liveops offers certifications to work with 1800 flowers, pizza hut etc. as well. There are some more there just hard to find. GOOD LUCK |

Yes, they have added this to the Careerbuilder website, however for those of you who are familiar with Careerbuilder, there is an option you can click on to "Report this" and explain the reason you are reporting it to be a false business opportunity. I would personally suggest we all do this, as I agree that Careerbuilder is for people looking for work, who have little money, and need a real job. |

Thanks everyone for saving me from spending $97 I didn't have to spare being unemployed! Google people you meet online too. Had I done that I wouldn't have gotten ripped off by a famous scam artist that was featured on NBC Dateline!! Google Amy Ost Cumbee and Amy Slanina and read all about her. |

NO wonder she has all these "luxury" items. All the money some people actually pay for this SCAM of a program, she can buy anything she want's! ie... luxury car's, big home, boats, and so on! With the way the economy is nowadays! How can someone "in there right mind" even think about trying to scam us out of the HARD EARNED MONEY we make!
If you ask me TOO many people in this world are just out for them selves. There's a limit on being out for your self people! |

I signed up for this program and the same day I canceled it as you only had a short period of time to review it and I sent them 3 emails demanding that they refund my money, doing so within the required time limit, and they did not cancel the account and charged me the $197.00 and when I attempted to contact them by the phone number given to me by my bank, it was disconnected. To this day, I have never received a single response from them, nor my money refunded. Stay away from this one!!!!! |

I just receive the email from the online data entry institute too. I learned a long time ago to check things out first, especially when personal information is required. Usually when I receive UNSOLICITED emails I just delete them. I got curious and opened it.
I’m glad I found this site. Lesson learned, I will continue to delete unsolicited emails and unknown senders, it’s safer no matter how disparate you are. |

Well im unemployed and thought I would give it a shot. When I realize the price I said no which was 97 then I try leaving and the offered it to me for 47 and i said no the final one was for 27 and that when i went ahead and did it (LIKE A FOOL. Well I check my account and made sure that there was only 27 taken out at that time there was. When i woke up the next morning and checked my account they decided to take out 47. I was so clueless what to do. So i decided to google the company. I found a phone but the people who answer it all a bunch of dumb asses. They say they cant find my account and they cant tell you the name of the company or the name that they debit. Please if anyone reads this don't do it. |

WOW!! I too was very (VERY) interested in this program but because I am currently unemployed and severely in debt, I thought I would do some research first before dishing out $97 (YES, my cost was only $97, not $197). This site was the 1st one I went to and after reading everyone's "Negative" comments on the program I decided to continue w/registration but w/bogus information (legit info, but not mine), hoping there would be a section for my notes or comments and then I would tell them what a bunch of RIP OFF SCAM ARTIST CREEPS they are!!! But no such luck, on finding a message area, so I decided to cancel out of registering and got a pop-up box that said are you sure, if you stay we'll give you and additional $50 off...that's a Total of ONLY $47. Ha, Yea Right!! So I proceeded to Cancel and got yet "another" pop-up box that said Continue and pay a Total of ONLY $27...I thought maybe if I tried again, I might actually get it for FREE..but I just closed out of it all...Not worth it. But I have Thank You ALL for your inputs, they helped GREATLY!!! |

I just got an email from them and I decided to Google their name and I found this site. If it sounds too good to be true, then IT DEFINITELY IS.
Just think about how many people today have a computer in their home. If they could sit at home everyday making this type of money, then EVERYONE would be doing it! There would be people quitting their jobs to do this..its way too simple.
They give themselves away when they say "no experience" required.. |

Another victim to the scam!!! I knew i shouldn't have but did anyway. With instant access online to the "member site" found this and others to be the same story different person. Others in this blog mention error messages after the credit card info entered, I never had that, but the charges before the trial period was up had me at aw! Thanks to my bank it was caught and I was given further info to refund my monies. Thanks to this blog I can better determine the companies success. |

THANKS B TO ALL WHO SEND A MESSAGE ABOUT THIS COMPANY!!!!! I also wanted to start w/them, Googled the 411, and found this. I recently lost my job and thought I found a way to make a living while staying at home since its hard enough to find a job now, so I borrowed the money from our savings with a promise to pay it back with interest!Well as soon as I completed the process of sending my card info through she (Mary Anne) said I have a gift for you for your purchase, try my 14-day trial system that automates everything for you on autopilot and after the trial it's 39.95 a mo. So I clicked on the other option to take the trial after 10-12 unsuccessful clicks of NO THANKS Mary Anne and was redirected to a section that said complete your info and we will email you within 24 hours. After finishing the section I got a bogus error message telling me to contact the site administrator but who would I contact when I went back to the site through my e-mail there were no numbers additional site info nothing on CONTACT US, tried to type in onllinedatainstitute.com kept getting "Mary Anne's" fake mug. So I gave them 2 days and called them today after getting an email from an outdated sites help desk (Automated Income Wealth)to call customer service at 1800-381-7820 because they were 2 different things they claim to be the 14-day free trial and said contact data institute because they help you to process rebates in data entry. On hold for 15 minutes, spoke with a guy named Rex and told him I needed help finding out more about program also asked when I would get info that would teach me,he never confirmed what receipt of any info in 24 hours and told me for more info i needed to visit supportonlinedatainstitute.com my system started doing what it had several days ago telling me I typed address wrong or the site doesn't exist,REX said take off the www, same result, I then typed website into good ol' google, didn't know at the time I would get this kind of feedback when I did. I saw all the complaints, the longer I was on the phone the more angry and hesitant I got about waiting for some success coach to call and coach me through a site my computer said was non-existent. I then became upset and began asking for a supervisor and a refund because this site and its administrators were a phony scam or I will find a way to sue you guys, he said its not a scam you bought the product a couple of days ago, don't you want to give it a try I told him no persistently and he offered all kinds of (free) trips etc. and said there was not a supervisor available because they don't talk on these phone calls. I advised him I'm unemployed that money was apart of savings from my household and I was in customer service and back end collections I don't care what you have to do but someone needs to give me a refund immediately and back on hold I went but after 41 minutes of being placed on hold repeatedly for 5-6mins at a time and not budging on my decision he came back to the line and said, "I spoke with a supervisor and he gave me a refund code," he was still hesitant to give me the code and once he gave me the code he said it will take 2-5 business days to put the money back on your card, I said ok and I told him I will call back if its not there within that time, but I'm also taking it upon myself to call all the news stations here and tell them about this internet scam, contacting the BBB and writing a letter to the consumer protection agency like "A guy who knows lawyers in Virginia" advised everyone to do because as bad as the economy is no one can afford to be stolen from and hopefully this will have them shut down and have less and less writing in this blog, its ridiculous DON'T steal from someone else to help yourself! MAKE YOUR MONEY THE HONEST WAY LIKE EVERYONE ELSE WHO SIGNED UP FOR THE SCAM WAS TRYING TO... I HOPE ALL OF YOU ARE PERSISTENT WITH YOUR EFFORTS OF GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK AND YOU WILL ONE WAY OR ANOTHER BUT THEY WILL BE SHUT DOWN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER AND HOPEFULLY NO ONE TRIES TO HURT THAT MARY ANNE LADY BCS IT IS STILL HER FACE THAT'S ON THE SITE AND VOICE MAYBE NOT HER NAME BUT I KNOW SHES STAYING HIDDEN SOMEWHERE. I'M GLAD I FOUND THIS SITE I WILL DEFINITELY USE IT FROM NOW ON. |

I realized this was a mistake as soon as my card number went through and the screen went to an "Error" page. Regardless, the company already had my number, and I had to cancel my card. I called the 800 number from your site to cancel everything, and the first person I spoke with was extremely rude and difficult. Finally, I spoke with a supervisor, and he agreed to give me a cancellation number. I don't know how this all will end because my card has already been charged, but I really appreciate your help on this site because it confirmed what I already was feeling--that this was a scam and to run fast in the opposite direction! |

I rating this program as poor because without researching this program I was charged $197 and receive no product. When I call the customer service I get the run around about I didn't complete the registration. But at the time of the registration the website time out and when I tried to redo the registration it was duplication. Now I getting this we can't send you the information to complete your website. After 3 tour of Iraq and getting ready to retire from the military You would think a woman who comes on saying she could help people start a better future is trustworthy. Right now I wish there was a way to sue the company for false advertisement. If a person can sue a dry cleaner owner for losing a pair of pants. Why can't we honest working folks sue the scam artist for false advertisement. This will make the scumbags think twice about cheating someone. If there is a Maryanne Kennedy who is on the advertisement for this website she should hang her head in shame. |

I'm An Almost Sucker here today. I read the Warranty section and started laughing. It reminded me of the USA 1950's joke about how "the large print gives you everything... and the small print takes it all away" At the last page of the disclaimer it mentions that any legal action would have to be pursued though CYPRUS (as in the Eastern Mediteranian sea) Courts!!! Not quite a desert Isle.. but getting there.

Just to see if this was a scam, I paid $197 just to check it out and actually try to make money. The ads they expect you to make are ads that people don't even click on. So it was pretty lame. After pestering these people for 85 days for a refund I finally got one. They kept telling me to go through the 7 weeks of training... lol. I threatened to go to the BBB to get my refund and that's when they finally gave me my refund. But I guess I pissed them off so much they gave my e-mail out to some other data institutes to spam me with constant e-mails. Hahaha this company is such a joke. |

I've been scammed by an online pyramid scheme. I invested $1,200 total and the states attourney could only recoup $300, which took 5 years to get back. A scum bag named David Franklin Comer in Missouri sold gas debit cards claiming they would purchase $300 of gas each. Never got the cards. This guy never even went to jail. The state gave him probation for 7 years and he only had to pay back a fraction of restitution to the people he ripped off. I'm looking for him. I will find him and he will pay one way or another.
I could tell this was a scam from a mile away. Once you've been scammed you develop a sixth sense to detect them. There was no phone number listed on this site that was absolute confirmation it was a scam. Long claims of easy money, go figure.
This site was probably conjured in the Bahamas or somewhere in the Caribbean. They are known to send your money into an off shore account. It's impossible to recover. I hope we can find the scum bag who started this scam and put them in jail. Probation is a joke for such a wide scale cyber crime that affects so many. |

Thanks for your review page and I've been telling people to stay away from these scams. If there is no address, no contact phone number listed in "contact us" page please stay away and don't trust. I purchased this program also a couple of months ago. As soon as I got off the page I checked it out, and realized I had been taken! I called customer service immediately, and was told it was pending, but he would try to cancel it. I then called my bank, told them what occurred, and they were going to do what they could. 3-4 days later I had money back in acct. Yeah!! Then someone called me yesterday saying I signed up and wanted to know if I was interested in being led by hand and taught system! Now I realize who it is again! Oh my! Sorry charlie, not again!! Hope it works out with others getting $ back! Shame on these people!! |

I emplore all of you to file a class action lawsuit as well as write a letter to the consumer protection agency for your county. This would be the fastest way to bring proceedings. Time is everything, I'm sure they have people who scour the web looking for posts such as this, marking the time at which they need to pull-out. However, I hope we all know "pulling-out" is not an option, abstinence is the best route. I'm sure you who have been mislead needed that. Seriously though, as soon as their records are seized, a class action lawsuit can be put together. I am not a lawyer, I have many friends in NYC that are. You should all be able to get back your $197, if not at least $100; but the satisfaction of stopping scams like this is the major benefit. Just to let you all know, the first one to initiate the class action lawsuit gets the most back, much more than $197. Good luck, have fun with it, and God speed. |

Just wanted to add a beware to all that are considering this. Apparently there are a lot of names that operate with Maryanne Kennedy. Found several names and companies for her at ripoffreport Thought it was interesting. I worked for a company (not to my knowledge) that was like this and they change company names and owner names to keep the FBI off their trail Be very aware, you should never have to pay money to earn it. Think about it, do you have to pay to work outside of your home? |

i used one of the #'s provided on this page to call their service and cuss them out. I went off on the first human voice i heard. Just reading all these stories of people being taken pisses me off. I think i'll keep calling and harassing and cursing at them. I know that won't help anybody, but at least i'll feel better. |

I am so glad I have the ability to google something like this. I have received a couple of emails from this MaryAnne and some on processing rebates from home. The bottom line is this, there are no free rides in life and this almost makes it sound like there is. You have to work for your money, earn it, prove yourself. I am sure there are some legitimate ways to earn money on the web (although I have not found one yet). I hope more people read up on this before just spending their hard earned money on it. You would do better by putting that $197 in the stock market. |
waylon ca | 2:55pm on Monday, December 29th, 2008 |
I got scammed by these m*otherf$#%&*s also. Has anyone gotten a hold of their $197 yet. Every time I call 1-800-381-7820 I am told that they are updating their system and to call back in 24-48 hrs. Lets bring down these scammers!!! |
Sara Texas | 1:58am on Saturday, December 27th, 2008 |
Well, I found this review too late. I signed up because I thought I finally found something that was legit and could help my family; I am such a fool.
The charge of $197 is pending on my credit card as I type this. : (
I tried to get "help" from their help desk and was redirected to the start page of the whole scam. Then I tried to call the helpline b/c their info said they have a 24 hour customer service to help you get started and when I called it said they are onlu open Mon.-Fri. until 5:00.
I don't even believe I'll get the information I supposedly paid for now. |

I am sooooo glad I googled this horrible, exploitation of good hard working people!
Maryanne Kennedy (whoever she is) will be brought down! No doubt! God looks down upon people who are dishonest, with no compassion for people, don't worry, "this too shall pass". To be so ugly, in this tough time in our country is an abomination! Dear, God, please comfort these people who were scammed, just because they were trusting in a complete "LIE", "Thy Will Be Done" |
Bob Colorado Springs, Co. | 2:18am on Thursday, December 18th, 2008 |
I got the email. I got laid off from my job making good money for the last 8 yrs. Jobs are not plentiful. I read the ad email and it bothered me that it stated, Maryanne Kennedy was not her real name in order to provide privacy for her family. I googled it and came here. Wow, what a bunch of crap. I hope this lady goes down in the flames of hell! People that prey on people need to burn. I am glad i checked it out. Saved me some money! I hope you all can recoup your money and get this bitch busted!!! |
Dana Charlotte, NC | 6:34pm on Wednesday, December 17th, 2008 |
I thought this was a scam....Glad I didn't buy into it before checking them out. Been burned too many times for it to happen again. Thanks for these warnings!!! Best of luck to all that got scammed. |

The initial advertising for this program is a scam. For the girl from Glendale, I know how to get in touch with them and I am receiving a refund. I also made a call to the office of the NC General Attorneys Consumer protection and they WANT people to call and report these scams so they can put a stop to it. Steve, thank you so much for this site. |

Just an update: It's not over yet guys! I've been through hell and back with these people since I first wrote. Now, they keep calling me asking how the "program is going". They are harrassing me now, just trying to piss me off. This one guy called telling me to enjoy all the future "annoying" phone calls I'll be getting from them. I've got the option to block calls on my phone so I'm hoping this works. These people are from HELL. There's no other explanation. |

I just learned about the program today. It sound really interesting that i was about to purchase the program. Thank God i googled to find out if this is really legit but after seeing all the comments i had a great relief that i didn't just enrolled. Im just a housewife wanting to find a home-based job to help my husband pay off our monthly bills. |

I am so glad I "googled" this site. I pretty much "echo" all what has been said about this so called "oportunity". All I want is to make a little extra money to get out of debt. Is that too much to ask. Are there any On Line data entry business that are legit? I don't want to be a millionaire, or drive fancy cars. I just want to be comfortable and not have to worry, worry, worry about bills, and "robbing Peter to pay Paul", as the saying goes. Thanks for the "heads up" on this business. |
Frank Los Angeles | 8:36pm on Saturday, November 22nd, 2008 |
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR COMMENTS! I ALMOST GOT SCAMMED. What kind of world are we living now! These people do not know the meaning of integrity! All we ever want is to make some extra cash. God knows we need it now more than ever. I was going through my email and out popped a very attracted email offering a chance to make SOME EXTRA CASH! I've been looking into earning some money from home (computer/internet based) and thank God I googled the INTERNATIONAL DATA ENTRY SUITE from DEVIL KENNEDY! (that's what her name should be) I wonder where she is at at this moment. She should read all of the above comments and feel bad for what she is representing! I guess desperate people can do the imaginable (like ripping people off) just to make an extra dollar! SHAME ON YOU MARY ANNE KENNEDY! To all of you people who were just thinking a way to make some extra cash, I wish you the best and hope you get your money back and then some for the troubles this company has brouth upon you and family. I'll finish with just one comment: INTERNATIONAL DATA ENTRY IS FRAUDULENT!!!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FELLOW AMERICANS!!! |

Just another scam... sounded too good to be true. I keep wondering if there are any real work at home things out there. Almost ready to stop searching for the answer. |
James Alabama | 3:36pm on Saturday, November 8th, 2008 |
There is another program, do surveys make money. The information you pay for is a list of companies that offers surveys for companies. It is legit but you arent gauranteed money. When I read this I figured it was the same thing. You pay for a list of companies that hire data entries people and probably some other useless list of things offered.
My cousin does data entry, or in the real world transcriptionist for doctors. She went to school, bought the equipment, and does it at home. She makes descent money. I have another friend who processes rebates, emails, and complaints from home for a travel agency, she does it at home and makes descent money. There are work at home jobs that are legit.
When playing on the internet alot of people use the "work at home and be with your family" as a hook line. You can make money online with affiliate companies or with google adsense, or with a "list" The one thing people dont realize is it does not happen over night. I work online for 2 years with a company, and was making 97 dollars a month. Yes my check was growing, but it did not happen overnight. And I am now writing for blogs and websites for a set amount, this is called freelancing. It depends on how much I write what I get paid.
There are alot of companies out there that now hire non commuters. It is possible to find work at home jobs, not "opportunities" that is the key. Just look and beware of the dream they sale. If there is a huge house, a nice car, and a promise that it can be yours beware... If they try to sell the 2000 dollars a month or more, beware. LIke many above said, if it sounds to good to be true, caution. But some people have to learn the hard way..
Good luck |

I guess I was scammed too. As I was reading , It felt like the samething has happen to me. I want get upset I have learn and I believe we all have learn. It cost's me $197.00 to understand , the web is out to get you and I got Got! And to MaryAnne Kenedy You will have to answer for this. Remember, You Will Reap What you have Sown! And to All whom have got caught by this web, Be Aware. |

I just opened the E-mail on this company and googled Online data Institute scam or real and clicked on this site.
Why waste time reading their garbage. Just google and find out.
There are legitimate companies involved in work at home opportunites as per a local tv stations little report.
Just Google these words:
Arise Convergys Elance LiveOps Westcorp Workhomeadvices Working solutions
The trouble with these legitimate companies is that the hourly rate is very low and there is a lot of paper work involved.
Be real people, any mindless data entry or customer service is already outsourced to India.
You have to become educated in HTML and blog creation and come up with something or subject that truly interests you and proceed from there. |

I was scammed once and I do not want to ever feel like that again. I went to the BBB of Massillon, OH and read what was said about Online Data Institute and Maryanne Kennedy. Guess whose name was also involved with this company--ANGEL STEVENS--THE QUEEN OF ALL SCAMMERS. Stay away!! |

THANK YOU ALL WHO POSTED THIS UP!!! I am 20yrs old live with my parent's an they wanted me to find a job i've always been interested in the online work from home deals so i can make a lot of money an have more freedom to hang with friends an not have to worry about bills etc. i almost got my credit card out i went read everything on INTERNATIONAL DATA ENTRY WORK FROM HOME website everything looked perfect which it was too good to be true, but me bein kinda young i thought why would someone waste that HUGE page of alllllll that information typing all of it an having everything look sooo perfect, if it wasn't true. I was getting ready to call my mom an tell her hey i have a job an tell her it was for data entry an she would say ok not knowing it was something online that involved my credit card.
i decided to get on youtube to do research i saw some crap on GDI or something cause i found nothing like this on "BBB" (better business buereau.) so then i decided well maybe it is good an i found some similar names, but i decided one more try an did google. this was the first page to pop up an wow..... thank you for saving me from getting a beat down from my parent's lol seriously i would of been so stupid.
so i went back to the site that i clicked from my email an X'ed out. an then some chat pops up an says OH WAIT WE WILL GIVE YOU A BETTER DEAL an crap. so i got all these pop up things thinking a person was clicking the paragraphs that has all the stuff so i thought it was a computer so i decided to have a little talk with her Lauren or w/e her name was.
and it was sooo funny i keep saying this is a scam an everything else and i would write big paragraphs to her an right when i hit enter she would start typing like she just had super powers an read that stuff i typed so i keep saying did you google Maryanne Kennedy it says scam all over the internet. oh this is not a scam an would repeat half the paragraphs that are saved in her little chat box. then i said this isn't a live person an she would like this is a live person with a smiley face. wtf thanks too you all you saved my life |

WOW!!! Thank you all for saving my honey some money. He was looking into this the other night and thought it sounded really good. I'm glad I googled to find this info. I decided to read the Warranties, Disclaimers...at the bottom of the site. Hmmm lo and behold...they claim the company is governed under the laws of Nicosia, Cyprus. Yet the address is in Ohio. Thank you for alerting us to the fishy works here. |

Is anyone interested in a class action suit where we all get together and sue them, and put them out of buisiness??? Seriously.I had called to get a refund, got conf.#, and that was on 9/18. I still have not gotten my refund. I am absolutely livid by now. I have called and emailed so many times its not funny. The last time I emailed them, they sent me to esellerate, who as of the day BEFORE was no longer affilliated with them at all. So, now they have forwarded and acclerated my info to their corparate for 2 weeks now (nonexistant), and still no refund. They won't even answer my emails anymore. |

I ordered the program from Online data Institute and immediately noticed that I got no receipt. There was no E-mail to confirm my order. That was over two weeks ago and I still have not heard from them. I contacted my credit card company and got a new card. Today I received another E_mail from this brazen pearson. If we all report this scam there will in future be one less online and we will help catch up with this thief. |

Marie: Try calling 1-800-381-7820. I signed up for this on Oct 22 and realized right away it was a scam when I couldn't get through for help. Finally, the next day I called and (surprisingly) got through to someone. After a lot of arguing, I told him I wasn't interested and wanted my money back. He gave me a confirmation # (which I'm sure is fake). I immediately called my credit card company, told them what was going on and they said they would dispute the charge for me if these people continued to charge me. I also closed that credit card account because I really don't know what these people are capable of. On that Friday, some guy calls and asks if I'm progressing and when I said NO, he hung up on me! I got another call from someone on Monday wanting to know how I was getting on with the program and I let him have it with both barrels. I told him I knew it was a scam and asked him if he'd Googled Maryanne Kennedy's name. He said no and I told him he should. I also told him he should be ashamed of himself for working for this so-called company. I demanded my money back again and got nowhere. I tried calling back the number that was on caller ID and got no answer. The phone disconnected after about 20 rings. I'm complaining about this company to the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Fraud Reporting, the Attorney General's Office, the Federal Trade Commission and the Rip Off Report. They pissed off the wrong person. Don't take this people. Fight for what is yours! |
