Income From Google Reviews

Is the Income From Google Starter Kit a Scam?

Income From Google, found at www.legitimatequickcash.com, by Tim Stewart is another program promising to make you rich from Google. They claim that by following their system you’ll be able to make $300 – $1,000+ a day doing minimal work that requires no special skills or prior experience. So is this really possible or just another slick scam?

If the website for Income From Google looks oddly familiar that’s because it’s brought to you by the same people who’ve been recently exposed on 20/20 for running the rebate processing scam. The name is different and the front man is new, instead of Angel Stevens it’s Tim Stewart (both not real just paid actors) but everything else is eerily similar.

The dead giveaway is that the parent company claims to be based out of Nicosia, Cyprus a corporate legal and tax haven as explained on the 20/20 program. It also appears that due to this recent media pressure the company is making changes to seem more legitimate.

For instance they’re no longer hiding what they’re selling which is a manual on how to make money from Google and not real jobs as they used to claim. However in this new program they found a new way to deceive their customers.

If you don’t carefully read "Income From Google’s" terms and conditions you’ll miss the fact that after you pay the $1.95 for shipping and handling you have 7 days to cancel or be entered into a payment plan of $39.95 a month.

So How do You Really Get Income From Google...?

First off, just to be clear the “Income from Google” program is in no way associated with the Google Corporation. In fact Google does not endorse or support this company in any way, many people automatically think that something is legitimate because it has Google in the title but that’s simply not true.

It’s also important to understand how you can actually make money from Google. There are 2 ways; the first is through Google AdSense which is one of Google’s advertising platforms which pays you for hosting relevant ads on your site for other advertisers. If you’ve ever been browsing a website and noticed something that says “sponsored ads by Google” that website owner gets paid a few pennies to a dollar every time someone clicks those links.

The other way to make money using Google is the method that is taught in “Income from Google,” and that is Internet Marketing using Google’s second ad platform, Google AdWords. Notice the clarification you will not be making money from Google just using their extensive Pay-Per-Click advertising program.

In simpler terms they’re going to show you how to get paid for selling products through Google’s search engine ads. Keep in mind that no matter what they say you will need an advertising budget to pursue this method of income.

So is the Income from Google Starter Kit Worth the Monthly Payments...?

While I believe in the power of internet marketing as a legitimate way of making money online I feel that the industry has been flooded with bogus opportunities and conmen making unrealistic profit claims and selling substandard materials.

The truth is that paying almost 40 bucks a month for this material is unnecessary and higher quality information about internet marketing can be found for free or for more reasonable prices. Also given this company’s dubious history I would recommend passing up on Income From Google and their too good to be true opportunity.

If you paid for the trial package and weren't aware of the monthly charges here's the phone number to cancel your membership 1-800-381-7820.

folks,
just go to your bank and fill out a simple form and they will credit back to your account anything that you have charged in the last 60 days that was not legitimate. then tell the bank you lost the card and get a new one, very simple.

no need to take the hit, your bank will always back you up on your credit card purchases this way.

Thank you all for the reviews! I was about to order it but I decided to check out reviews first. Wow!

Why make numerous calls to cancel an order when one could simply call your credit card or bank office and report your card missing. They stop all future payments to everyone thus the end of reoccurring charges. Think out side the box.

What a scam,Like others,I was charged $84.79 because i didn't read the small print,so after a lot of calls they canceled my order. That was 3 months or more ago and I had the same charge on my credit card show up again today, and after several more calls was told it was a mistake and that that it would not happen again.I won't count on that.

I was thinking of trying this venture but I am very thankful that I read these comments first! I will definitely NOT be trying this. I actually went to the 3 sites I found information on Google from home to try and post a comment warning people to go to this site first and 2 of them wouldn't let me post a comment and the 3 let me type my comment but would let it go through!!!! This just reinforces to me how much of a scam this is!!! Thanks for the head up!!!

once i found out, i canceled it the day after i ordered it! it took a bunch of phone numbers but once you call your credit card company, they give you the number from the company that shipped the "kit." the number is(as of now) 877-295-0058.

I would hope that anyone that is even thinking of falling for this SCAM clicks on and reads the terms of service before they even think of giving them their credit card number. Your card will be charged $89 dollars after 6 days and then $49 once a month. This is the only way this scam works, you get other suckers to give you their card number.

Good Luck

I signed up as well, but my card was charged $157.00. I called within the trial period, and was told that the kit charge was only 39.95, and the "extra" fee was from a separate billing company, with (of course) a different 800 number. After two days, and several HOURS on hold I was successful in getting a refund for the entire $157.00, but had to go through three people to get it. Then I see my card has been charged $12.95, and $9.95, including a fee for international funds transfer. Again, calling another 800 number I'm told that with applying for the trial offer of affiliate rebates, I automatically was signed up for Identity Protector and some other service. Since I called to cancel the "rebate" kit, but didn't specifically ask to cancel the other two trials (that I was unaware of) I was charged for these services, since the free trial on them has now expired. Buyer Beware!

The number to cancel this 'Google Scam' is 1-800-497-4988. I had to get it through American Express. Make sure you get a confirmation number for your credit card company.

I too was taken in by this scam. I never received any merchandise and called to cancel my order.

I was assured that the order would be canceled and no more charges would appear on my statement from my credit card company.

I have been unable to get an answer on the 800 number.

I also thought I had 7 days after I received the kit to decide if I wanted to do this. I signed up for this on 5/18 & only received the kit yesterday, 6/5/09. After they had already charged me for 1st month's membership of $39.95. So I certainly didn't have time to try it. I decided to not even open the kit & return it. I had already been trying to contact them for days & nights, before the kit came, to cancel but I couldn't get through on 2 difference phone numbers or e-mail address. I finally called my credit card company. They couldn't get through either. They are going to make sure I don't get charged in the future but can't do anything about the one already charged. This is really some kind of scam.

Well, I was taken in as well. However, I did receive my $1.95 trial CD from Tim Stewart and by that time they had already charged $39.95 and $9.95 on my credit card. I did not get through to customer service and was on the phone for over 30 minutes each time. I attempted to contact both 800 numbers (1-800-381-7820 and 1-800-645-0406)with no luck.

Let me ask, were you able to cancel your subscription with Legitimatequickcash.com by Tim Stewart since your last post? If not, here is what you can do.

First contact your financial institute or credit card company that you used to purchase this program with. What they will do is they will put the GOOGLEMAN and ONLINESERVICE accounts located on your credit card companies Transaction Details page, and FLAG it under the "Lost and Stolen Report" under their fraud department which will investigate them. Plus they will close your old credit card and send you a new credit card with a new card number; usually within 5-7 business days.

Hopefully this will be helpful to anyone out there that has fallen into this trap. Good luck.
God bless

Well, I was taken in as well. 7 days had already past by the time I saw this site and, while I had not yet received the "free" CD, i had been charged 39.95. I did finally get through to customer service and was ranting about this being fraud and that I was going to dispute it with my credit card company. This apparently seems to have worked. I waited a very long time, but got a confirmation number and a promise that in 5 days that money will be refunded. We'll see.... I'll keep you posted.

I just signed up and canceled maybe 15 minutes later after reading the $39.95 club fee and receiving Online identity Protector Membership for $9.95 a month. I knew I should have look into this before I spent the $1.95 I was on hold for a while but I did get through and was given a cancellation confirmation Number. The number I called was 1-800-645-0406. Thanks to all who posted before me and hopefully this will help someone else.

Ordered $1.95 trial CD from Tim Stewart containing info about income on Google for a trial period. Received "trial" CD. And was immediately charged for the full amount of the program, thereby negating the so called trial period. Also later that week was also charged for a "ID theft" policy I did not order and was not discussed in info provided by Tim Stewart.

DO NOT ALLOW THIS BOZO TO GET ANY INFO ABOUT YOU!!!!

I ordered a "Kit" from this Website paid the "shipping fee" and never recieved anything but a phone call making no sense whatsoever. I called to cancel, but, all I get is hours of elevator music, and my account has been billed $39.95 once already, now I have to go to my bank to get this stopped!

They will cancel your membership after stiffing you out of 40 bucks, but they wont refund your money.

I was stupid enough to try this too. I was under the impression you had 7 days after you got "the kit" for the free trial to begin, but it is 7 days from the day you order. So I am out the first months fee, but I did manage to get it canceled. When you call the 800 customer service number MAKE SURE YOU GET A CONFIRMATION NUMBER!!! Be patient it takes awhile for them to answer.

Dear Steve:

Thank you for investigating Legitmatequickcash.com by Tim Stewart. A person would think this Website is legitimate because they use the word "Google" but it not.
