Home Income Portal
HomeIncomePortal.com Reviews - Is Home Income Portal a Scam?
Home Income Portal is advertised as an all-in-one
home business franchise solution. They claim that this is one of the best
ways to make a living online and you'll have multiple streams of income coming
in from your turnkey website.
As a franchise owner what you'll get is a premade website that is hosted,
maintained, and updated by Home Income Portal. As part of this website you'll
get 106 "Portals," basically pages on your site designed to sell a variety
of products. For instance a real estate portal would sell how to invest in
real estate products.
The real basis for this program is affiliate marketing, which is the business
of promoting other peoples' products for a sales commission. When you buy
a website from Home Income Portal they'll be responsible for placing your
special affiliate links all through out your website so that you get credit for
any sales made from your site.
...So Is Home Income Portal a Scam or Legit?
I wouldn't say that it's a scam but I don't think that it's the best program
available for internet marketing training, simply because of their turnkey
website. Let me explain...
First off turnkey websites are not going to make you rich,
there are no successful e-business owners who are using a prebuilt website, that
is just a fact. The reason is two fold, mainly you want to be in control
of your business and know exactly what's going on, which is impossible to do
when you don't control your own website.
The other reason is that you are essentially shooting yourself in the foot
with a turnkey website. Since these sites are identical and share the
same content they will be disregarded by search engines like Google. So no
matter how many times they submit your site for indexing it won't be anywhere near the top of the
search results page.
...Why is This Bad?
Not being listed in the search results will force you
to purchase pay per click advertisements to get customers to your site. If
you had a unique site you could direct your efforts to getting organic traffic
which won't cost you a thing. So this hurts you because it forces you to
always spend money.
The other problem with Home Income Portal is the websites themselves, I
checked out a few of them and to say they're unimpressive is an
understatement. The site they give you has the design of an early 90's
website with the addition of a barrage of random advertisements for get rich
quick programs and CD's from Amazon.
I can tell you from experience that these sites don't sell well, and if you
search for customer comments of Home Income Portal you'll find stories from
folks who've poured in countless hours and dollars into their sites with zero
returns.
To make matters worse Home Income Portal charges $60 upfront and $60 a month
for maintaining this site. Purchasing and hosting a domain on your own
would cost you $10 or less a month.

Comments to date: 6. Page 1 of 1. Average Rating: Joe Bailey Germany | 8:33am on Sunday, February 21st, 2010 | Have been subscribed to Homeincomeportal for several years and have as yet to make a dime.
Has costed me endless hours of work before realizing that its not worth the money spent. |
charles carrico Ohio | 7:28pm on Sunday, October 18th, 2009 | I was with home income portal for two years--worked hard to make money--made zero. When I would emailed support they gave back stupid answers or no answer. |
Jack Da Bear Location unknown | 7:19am on Friday, September 18th, 2009 | Google has seen through hundreds of schemes and will never rank any HomeIncomePortal webpages high - because they are all similar in content.
Yes, they are different with each page load. But, the pages are identical for every person who owns them. ... And Google knows this. HIP will never produce what they claim for their renters of their sites.
After 6 years of no income of being a renter of the HIP 106 webpages ... and long promises of having had $150,000 spent on my site - so claimed by HIP to make it productive ... It has still to make the first sale of anything to anyone.
The only way I know that the accounts can process money is that I made some test purchases myself to verify that the e-commerce setup was functioning.
I would say that it - HIP is valueless. Do NOT ever give them any money - Ever.
They can not produce the first dollar for many people ... myself included. No matter what they say or how persuasive they tell it.
Buy - invest in Concrete producing companies. Physical building of roads and bridges will never stop. |
Richard W. Minnesota | 6:01pm on Friday, February 27th, 2009 | I fell for it to,but I am one of the HAPPY people who fell for it! Ive made money and learned alot, but I worked it just like you need to with ANY internet business..
Their isnt a internet business today that 100% of the people will be successful. Most dont learn anything or put in the effort it takes to be successful on the internet. No company on the internet is going to MAKE you rich, Only each individual can do that.
The Home Income Portal isnt a scam, they have been around for over 8 years, Thats a freaking long time on the internet,90% of all companies started on the internet dont make it a year!!
I have owned a Home Income Portal for over 5 years and am very successful, but I worked the business. Their will always be negative people regarding any business on the internet. Why, you may ask, because 90% fail to do the work and fail to do it long enough. I dont care what your selling or promoting, the key is it takes time and it takes work. You cant sit by and think you are going to get rich!

Pamella Georgia | 1:57am on Monday, February 9th, 2009 | I fell for the hype from May to December 2008 to the tune of $60 per month. Guess how much I made? Right --- nuttin' honey. So I gave myself a Christmas gift and ditched them. Those periodic e mails were compelling, I'll give them that. But they aren't worth a subscription or any type of attention from me or the public that they're sucking in. |
Randy Lacombe | 7:38pm on Sunday, February 8th, 2009 | I've been with these guys for over a year and still haven't seen one dime after reading your article I going to get out before I become even a bigger fool. |
