Google Pay Day Reviews
Is Google Payday a Scam?
Google Pay Day
is currently being advertised on many
websites and classifieds as a great training
program for learning how to make money with
Google. The advertisement makes a lot
of amazing claims about how much you
can make from Google AdWords and AdSense.
The advertisement for Google Pay Day encourages you to sign up for a free
trial of their money making software. They neglect to tell you the full
price of the software which is detailed in their terms and conditions.
If you sign up for the $1.95 trial you will receive their program for a
fourteen day trial period. From past experiences I know that the trial
usually starts from the day you request your package and not from the day you
receive it, so keep that in mind when keeping track of your days.
If you do not cancel within that time frame Google Pay Day will
proceed to bill your credit card to the tune of $39.85 per month for web hosting
and an additional one time fee of $129.85. The web hosting charge is
fairly outrageous since you can by a domain name for 8-10 bucks and get yearly
hosting for less than a hundred dollars. With them you would be paying
over $450 for the year.
Unfortunately, they do not provide a cancelation phone number on their
website, they only say that it's located in your confirmation email. If
you need to cancel look for that email in your inbox. Also they reveal
that Google Pay Day is not a US based company, they list their address at:
JRS MEDIA SOLUTIONS, 22nd Floor Raffles Corporate Center Emerald Avenue,
Ortigas Center Pasig City, Philippines. This is another enormous red flag
warning you not to do business with this company.
Overall this is just too much money to be paying to learn how to start an
online business. In reality there is no magic software that will have you
earning five thousand dollars a week as they advertise. Building an online
business takes time, effort, and research. The good news is
that it's not as difficult as most people think and there are legitimate
training courses which don't cost an arm and a leg.
Furthermore you want to learn as much as you can about working online in
order to become independent of companies like Google PayDay who want to
overcharge you for every little thing. I think that having to pay monthly
charges to learn about AdWords is outrageous.

Krishna Bangalore | 9:58am on November 14th, 2011 | My suggestion is do not pay any money online for anything without first googling it by using the words like "Google Adsense scam" "google pays me @67 an hour scam", is Google adwords pays me a scam? etc, etc. and you will never go wrong.
Don't pay nothing online if the website is not a secure website, even if it is not a scam if there is no https:// or a lock to show that it is a secure website.

Ekwunife Anambra | 6:45am on August 12th, 2011 | I received an email concerning this and since I have a Google acct and use it daily, I thought maybe this was a legit opportunity. When I click on their link to Policies and/or Privacy Policy it just reloads the page. I know it's not a configuration problem with cookies, etc. because I've tried it on three computers. Such a shame-when it comes to doing business on the net, scam, scam, scam-in several years I have yet to find any legit "work at home" businesses and all I'm looking for is a data entry pay-per-page job!

knossos Austria | 1:47pm on January 25th, 2011 | When I look on this page and see how many people are commenting here, being successfully scammed or not, I can't help to think about how many others are out there who paid and are still paying. There must be thousands.
And so I too cannot help thinking, the best way to earn the promised amounts of money is to raise such a scam by yourself. Create a webpage and an ad for your poor services, invest a little money to place your ad on various pages, and then wait for the money coming in. I've never heard that any of these scam makers went to jail or were even accused.
But THAT's the way to become rich. Think a little. If there are 1k people around the world paying their first full bill, how much $ would that be ? - And there are probably MUCH more out there than 1000.... |
Dan Chicago | 1:44pm on January 20th, 2011 | People need to understand what Google AdSense is. Google does not pay or hire or contract anyone to "post ads" for them.
This and similar scams encourage you to set up your own non-Google-endorsed website, place AdSense ads on it (AdSense is a service offered by Google, the appearance of their ads is not a sign of endorsement) and then spam the web trying to get traffic to your website. The more people visit your website the more chances your AdSense ads generate some revenue.
In reality you'd have to have an enormous amount of traffic to make any significant money from AdSense. It's best to just start a website on your own and blog about some topic about which you have some knowledge to share. Or, look for a job/money elsewhere. |
ryan Los Angeles | 11:17am on April 14th, 2010 | thanks for the review. I almost fell for it. |
another person who knows the truth Charlotte, NC | 10:14am on April 12th, 2010 | It works and if it didnt work for you then the chances are you probably didnt know what you were doing in the first place. Every fee and everything else that you want to know about this program is right in front of your eyes and its not one of those deals where you have to read pages of fine print to find it. So dont be mad just because you were one of those idiots that put your credit card number out there and kept hitting the next button without even reading whats on the page in front of you. By the way, you cant make money unless you a have money and thats true for every business out there. |
Ozzy Clearwater | 10:41pm on April 7th, 2010 | Thank you everyone for the posts. I almost fell for this one. The email I have received can be found here: http://cnbc8.com/.
Before I signed up, I did a search for "google payday" and your posts popped up. Thanks! I hope everybody is smart enough to see what else is written about "google payday" before they sign up. |
mondo cape town | 2:43am on October 27th, 2009 | Thank you for your good knowledge that you have imparted us with. money scammers Earth | 2:57pm on October 26th, 2009 | Google does not sponsor, endorse, and is no way affiliated with Google Pay Day!™ or this promotion.
Like G money says. |
Jocelyn Ontario | 3:30pm on October 12th, 2009 | After posting my last comment I called VISA and they pointed out that the numbers in the company name beside the payment appeared to be a phone number. The phone number I called was 1-800-462-9883. They were able to refund the second payment easily as well as cancel the account. I am stubborn even about a dollar when is a dollar that is being stolen from me so I insisted on being refunded this as well...this required being transferred to a supervisor...but again she refunded it easily. I have confirmation numbers for both and now waiting that they follow through. Lets hope this works!!! |
Jocelyn Ontario | 2:44pm on October 12th, 2009 | I have a brother who used to make decent money posting ads for google, so when i saw a local paper with a news story about a woman who lost her job due to the recession and was making a living this way I thought it may be a similar deal. So like everyone else...I considered the $1 info deal...got scared off when they tried to submit for $60, and closed the whole thing without confirming anything. They have so far deducted both of these amounts..I haven't received a thing...and not sure how to cancel. I see this question over and over but does anyone actually know the answer to it?????? |
Dal US | 1:15pm on September 22nd, 2009 | In the promotion sign-up web page, pay attention to the bottom words:
"Copyright © 2006-2007 Google Pay Day!™ - All Rights Reserved. You must be 18 years old or older to order.
Google does not sponsor, endorse, and is no way affiliated with Google Pay Day!™ or this promotion."
"Google Pay Day!" company has nothing to do with Google company, but just uses the Google name. |
Glenn Latrobe Valley, Australia | 5:22pm on September 20th, 2009 | For the 'special get it now before September-30' for just $0.99, the offer looked worthy of risking such a small amount.
But, I too read the 'fine print' before clicking the SUBMIT button and alarm bells immediately rang long and loud. Under a new tab, I searched for more information and was disgusted to learn that there are many so-called legitimate websites giving support a scam by having links on their pages!
Why hasn't Google done something about the use of their trade name by a pack of thieves? |
Breanne California | 7:27pm on September 8th, 2009 | I was about to sign up for this SCAM!!! but I decided to not do it and clicked the red "X" to close the window but a "live chat" came up so I decided ok I'll ask a few questions. The whole conversation was animated. I kept asking questions and the stupid thing kept saying "Are you still there?" All they wanted was for me to click the link to sign up for the SCAM!!! Don't do it! |
Kelly Spanish Fork, UT | 4:52pm on August 24th, 2009 | I never got the phone number to cancel my order when i signed up. I didn't get anything in the mail then my credit card statements came in and I have charges for $67/mo each month and I have called my credit card company to not allow this charge but how do I get my money back that they have charged? |
Brad Melbourne Australia | 10:16pm on August 17th, 2009 | Just cancel your card and lodge a credit card dispute with your bank to have the charges reversed. |
any ga | 4:11pm on August 14th, 2009 | SCAM! DON'T DO IT. I GOT RIPPED OFF... |
Frustrated Adelaide | 7:24pm on August 10th, 2009 | Okay so I had a look at Google Pay Day... $2.70 wasn't too bad to investigate... however I never clicked submit... it did it by itself and has deducted the amount twice from my account. Further, the supposedly Australian version still requires a US postcode that unless you input you can't get software download or receive any postal mail...
And what confirmation email??? I am still waiting!
And how do you make inquiries when there is no available contact and the company that operates it has a website containing no information and no contact details.

Roxanne Canada | 10:03am on August 2nd, 2009 | Thank you so much for this review i was this close to actually go through this google crap. |
Dennis Southwestern US | 12:56am on July 29th, 2009 | I too almost fell for this garbage... I turned my pop-up blocker off yesterday briefly for a legitimate reason but forgot to turn it back on.
In addition, I've been unemployed for about two months now. I must hand it to these scoundrels, in my unemployed state of mind, this thing hit me
just right to be taken in at first, but once I saw that STUPID clock running and a field used to enter my credit card number, suddenly I had this vision as I saw LOTS of money swirling down this
huge drain hole with about 10 neg. G-s applied!!
At that point felt pretty dumb, but caught myself in time say Ah-haaaaaa... more Cyber-Dick-Heads
on the loose.
Thanks for the info. |
