Google Money Tree Kit Review
Is Google Money Tree a Scam...?
Google Money Tree, is a new and
extremely popular work at home program.
The people advertising it have used every
resource at their disposal to make sure that
their opportunity is seen by millions of
people.
You may have seen ads for Google Money Tree on social networking sites such as
Facebook and MySpace claiming that you can make a hundred thousand dollars in
under 6 months. With the rise in internet fraud most folks simply want to
know if Google Money Tree is legit or a scam.
What's Inside Google Money Tree...?
Most people come across Google Money Tree through a very clever advertising
scheme purported by this company. There's a plethora of mini blogs
supposedly run by real people, all claiming that they're making tons of money
using this kit.
These blogs all have titles along the lines of carlasmoney.com or
bradsmoney.com, but if you do a Google search you'll find hundreds of blogs with
the exact same content and layout as these. Clearly these people are not
real and this is all part of a promotional plan to sell you Google Money
Tree.
This is also a prime example of what Google Money Tree teaches in its kit as
a way to make money. The system that they're selling is a basic guide on
how to advertise products on search engines and media sites.
They're not revealing any secrets at all and in fact if you're willing to do
the research you can get the same info for free online.
So is Google Money Tree a
Scam...?
The biggest problem with Google Money Tree and the horde of related courses
is their misleading billing policies. They promote the kit for only $3.88 in
shipping and handling fees, however that’s not the end to it.
Once you submit your billing info you are entered into a contract authorizing
Google Money Tree to bill you $72.21 each month! You can see their intent
to deceive customers because they intentionally hide this information from plain
view. Even if you read their terms and conditions this fee is hard to spot
since they purposely write out the sum in letters not numerals.
If you've fallen victim to Google Money Tree and want to end the monthly
payments you can call their customer service center at 866-870-4257. Once
you get your RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number you have to send the kit
back to 405 East 12450 South, Suite G, Draper, Utah 84020.
The fact that Google Money Tree resorts to these deceptive tactics to bilk as
much money from their customers as possible completely ruins their credibility.
I would not recommend doing business with this company or any offer that looks
simmilar to it.

Comments to date: 13. Page 1 of 1. Average Rating: vicky US | 3:59pm on Thursday, July 16th, 2009 | I cannot believe I fell 4 this scam, too. The disk they sent did not work. The terms & conditions are 7 days. By the time you get it, you might have 48 hrs to review it. I was nailed the money fee and no refund will be given ... no matter what you say. They have another going now too. Sorry I can't remember the name, but when I heard Google I said, " Or you are those guys that Money Tree ripoff going too?" The sales person, hung up on me. |
R.S. CA | 6:50pm on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 | This is a scam, but does anyone know how to get out of it? Have called their "customer service" at all hours and several hundred times, never able to get past the stupid voice mail that won't take a message and hangs up on you. Help!
Do I have to go to Utah and personally beat the crap out of them?

Corinne Everly Alabama | 12:15pm on Thursday, June 18th, 2009 | I was interested, checked out the website and decided against it (after I had entered some of my personal information). Somehow they were able to get my phone number at work from that information and they called me almost immediately. I agreed over the phone but never heard anything about the monthly charges. I also was surprised to see the $72.21, especially since I had not received the cd. They keep telling me they gave me a refund but I have yet to see it. This began in March 2009. So for KARAM, CANADA your comment was unjustified. As for Google Money Tree...THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. EVEN THEIR EMPLOYEE'S WANT THEM REPORTED (GUESS SO THEY CAN COLLECT UNEMPLOYMENT WHEN THEY LOSE THEIR JOBS). |
LeslieAnne Texas | 11:49am on Monday, June 15th, 2009 | I was taken by this website. They took the $3.88 AND the $72.21 before I ever received the program.
I also immediately cancel my account with Google.( and I have a conformation number)
But they still will not refund my money. They even said it was my banks fault!.
The "parent company" internet initiative is who did the debits but they tell me now the money was released to them and they re;lased it to google and google hasn't sent us the money |
CD Oregon | 11:01pm on Friday, June 5th, 2009 | Really bad news ,they took my money before i new what happened ,i was gone for a couple months because of family illness,i got whacked before the cd even arrived, not a kit,i filed a fraud complaint, these people our no good ,and people who work for them should be in jail ,dont go near it,why doesnt the real google do something ,once the words out there done |
Sadie Pulczinski Minnesota | 7:41pm on Thursday, June 4th, 2009 | OMG I never even registered or signed up with this company!!!! I just noticed that they are taking lots of money off my debit card and have been since January. What the f*ck?!!!!! How do I resolve this? |
Nichole California | 5:57pm on Thursday, May 28th, 2009 | This is a TOTAL scam. Not only did I not receive the "kit", I wasn't aware of the seventy-two dollar a month charge they would be assessing me. Wow, Imagine my surprise when I saw this on my bill and tried to call to resolve it only to get some jacked up voicemail system that didn't even identify the company?! Oh wait, then it hung up on me after keeping me in limbo for some time... fun, fun!
Soooooo - after my next "billing cycle" I noticed it again and called this time getting through to "customer service". I explained the situation and was told that no further charges would apply but that I was outta luck in receiving an type of credit for this months charge - and "No, you cannot speak with a supervisor". Isn't that convenient? Actually, is that legal? Anyway - horrible business practices and even worse customer relations. Stay away from this scam is all I can say! |
mike doolan ohio | 3:15pm on Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 | they are nothing but thieves. they take my money and when i called they said they would return it, but never did. i guess they got me twice |
bonnie ky | 10:16am on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 | These people are running a scam and I urge anyone who was taken advantage of to seek some type of recourse. They hide fees and lie to you. Do not mess with them!!! |
Karam Canada | 8:58pm on Thursday, April 23rd, 2009 | And that is why i do my research before giving out my credit card info online! |
LVS Whistler Canada | 2:45pm on Thursday, April 23rd, 2009 | SCAM,SCAM,SCAM! These guys are crooks! Didn't make clear at all that you were signing up for monthly billing, and refused to refund any money. |
Debie Brown Torrance, CA | 8:01pm on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 | What a scam. I received my cd and I laughed. What are they selling here? I sent them an email and it came back as undelivered no known address. I wanted to cancel immediately. I called the very next day and the person on the other end of the phone says you were charged 72.?? yesterday. He said my 7 day trial had ended. I had just received the cd the day before 7 days from when? I put a stop payment on it but who knows what will happen. The cd contains nothing that you can't find out for free. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY |
Anna Margolis CA | 1:33pm on Wednesday, April 15th, 2009 | OMG I can't believe I fell for this scam Im so disappointed with my self i really could have used that money that they took from me... |
