Is GoogleMoneyMachine a Scam?

Google Money Machine is a program that's being heavily promoted right now across the internet on blogs, ads, and social media sites.  There are even emails being sent out claiming that this program will show you how to make easy money working with Google.

It also appears that Google Money Machine is the new name for Google Money System a program that raised quite a stir in the work at home community.  There are also several other variations of this program, basically the same page with slightly different wording still claiming to show you how to make tons of money working from home just by using Google.

What is Google Money Machine All About...?

There have been some changes made in this new version of Google Money System, on the old website the company went out of its way to appear as if they were selling you a real hourly paid position working for the Google corporation.

They wanted you to believe that you were actually qualifying for a real job, when in reality this program is not associated with Google, and they're certainly not offering you a paid position just a biz opp.

In this new version they got rid of that deceptive language and are more upfront saying that you're buying into an online business that's simply making use of Google as a tool.  I don't know if this was due to legal pressure or of their own accord but it's a slight improvement.

Again to be clear, Google Inc does not endorse, sponsor, or support Google Money Machine.

So What are They Selling...?

From the way that they try to associate themselves with the search engines it's clear that they are selling an affiliate marketing training manual.  This is a method of making money where you use Google to place advertisements for various products.  If someone makes a purchase through your ad you get a commission from the owner of the product.

One important thing that they don't tell you is that if you pursue affiliate marketing you'll need an advertising budget.  Google uses a Pay-Per-Click system for their ad placements, meaning that if you want people to see your offer you'll have to pay for each click that is generated through Google.

Also, when doing research on Google Money Machine I came across many blogs set up for the sole purpose of making money by recruiting others to join GMM.  In fact it was hard to find any legitimate info on Google Money Machine without landing on pages swarmed with affiliate links to buy the program.

This could be another thing that the program will teach you simply how to sell the same thing you just bought.

Is Google Money Machine a Scam or Not...?

From a legal stand point it's not a scam, affiliate marketing is a legitimate method for making money online and there are many successful six figure marketers.  However, there is a lot of deceptive marketing on the part of Google Money Machine.

If you read the fine print you'll see that in fact this program will cost you much more than the $2.95 trial fee they advertise.  Once you give them your billing info you are entered into a monthly contract with them, and if you don't cancel after 7 days they will proceed to bill you $59.99 a month for your use of Google Money Machine.

This is absolutely outrageous, there's no reason to be paying a monthly fee to receive basic internet marketing info.  Once you get past the fact that there are no secrets to making money online, just a matter of learning basic skills you'll truly realize that there's nothing they can be offering worth sixty bucks a month.

I would recommend avoiding Google Money Machine or whatever name they'll be using next month.  There are much cheaper and better regarded sources available for affiliate/internet marketing training.
