Is the Google Kit a Scam...?
Recently there has been a wave of work at home programs all claiming that
they can show you how to make money from Google. They all sell a Google
Home Business Kit for a low shipping and handling fee from $1.99 - $3.88.
These programs consist of a CD, and a membership website that hosts the
courses. The lessons teach you how to use Google AdWords to place advertisements
for programs that you are an affiliate for.
They also advocate setting up fake blogs and websites to advertise the same
Google Kit that you just bought. You may have seen ads like these on
Facebook and MySpace. Don't be fooled by these and other sites claiming
that you can make money from these programs; any income they're receiving is
simply from referring more people to join these sites.
So Are These Google Biz Kits Scams...?
The catch with all these programs is that once you submit your billing info
to pay for the S&H you automatically agree to their membership program.
When you apply for the Google Home Business Kit you're also authorizing them to
charge you a membership fee of up to $70 a month.
This is why these Google Home Business Kits have been called out as serious
scams. Most people don't see the fine print which they have cleverly
hidden throughout their site. Then a month later they're shocked to see a
fee of $70 which they haven't authorized.
There have also been thousands of complaints made against these Google Kit
companies, by people who've been charged the monthly fees without even receiving
the CD's and membership info.
Now, the guys running these scams are not stupid and are obviously very good at
what they do. They've taken many measures to ensure that they can keep
operating their scams long term. This includes hiding their
websites' URLs and consistently changing the names of their programs.
When one product is no longer selling they simply change the
name and viola they have a new Google Home Business Kit to sell. For
instance they've just switched the name to Google Money Master.
By the time there're enough complaints and articles exposing them they've
already moved on to a new name and website. I want to show you some
examples of these Google Kit sites which you should avoid, I'm also including a
long list of program names that they've used in the past along with a collection
of fake affiliate blogs that they use to promote them.
Examples of Earn Google Cash Sites to Beware of...
These websites were advertised through a series of fake blogs set up specifically to sell Google Biz Kits. Most were filled
with pictures of a young person, their big checks from Google, and fake comments towards the bottom.
Recently, these scammers have switched to using fake news paper articles to promote the Google BizKits. They often use names (and even logos) like the Los Angeles Times or ABC News and feature a top "story" of how you can make a fortune by simply purchasing one of these Google Kits. You should be wary of any such news articles as they're popping up everywhere.

If you see an ad for one of these blogs or "newspapers" save yourself the time and don't
visit them, as they'll only redirect you to one of these Google Home Business

A friend of mine, who is woefully broke and can't find work, asked me if I heard of this. I did not. But we did a Google search and found this site. She read it and said thank you for saving me money. As tacky as it may sound, I offered this person a free business I promote and she is working that right now with the knowledge she will make money in time but it takes sweat equity to build your own business.Waht if she doesn't like it? No problem, she has no investment and no links to any credit card or bank account, just some time. |

Joe Chicago | 6:18pm on February 1st, 2011 | I gave them my name, email address and my cellphone # and they kept calling me back but I was always to busy to talk so I decided to get more information about this job and I realized that they called me like 5 times within 2 days and it was always the same lady with a Chinese accent, so it was difficult for me to understand her. So she transferred me to talk with the supervisor and I asked him to specifically explain what I would be doing and everything and he did as told but he kept asking for my account number and I said I have no money at the time and he said if there was any way I can used my parents or a friends just to get me started and I said I might have the $5 tomorrow. So I can't wait to talk to them again haha
I have a question.. Since they have my email address is there anyway they can hack my email or something like that?? should I change my password?..the reason why I'm asking is because I buy things online and I have my account number shown whenever I receive my confirmation email.. anyways Thanks for the advice ppl |

DAHH! $84.86 already has shown as a pending charge with the cc company. I already have disputed the charge. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT BE ENTICED! |
Shalima Georgia | 8:17am on November 3rd, 2009 | These people stated that I could get this kit for $1.00 and that I had a 48 hour trial period, this was Sunday evening. By Tuesday morning, they charged my account an additional $79.86 which I never saw coming. When I tried to cancel believing that I still had time within my 48 hours, they told me that they were sorry but my time had ran out. Meanwhile I haven't received anything from them after they took my money. It seems that I have no recourse; so this company can just take our money and walk away free and clear. Someone has to do something about this type of bad business, but even more importantly, as consumers we must be vigilant and read all fine print; better yet DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ONLINE UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IT IS A REPUTABLE COMPANY AND BUSINESS. |

I finally reached someone on their toll free number for them to only argue that it is in the fine print that if not canceled within 7 days you will be charged. I wish I would have done my research. |

Faye KY | 11:43am on October 31st, 2009 | Well I too was looking for extra $$ to help with bills, holiday shopping etc, and got taken for $79+ and thankfully got that refunded, but in a few days got charged $35+ for different item, I didn't order, but I lost that bc it had been 2 days longer than 7 which is cutoff, they said it was canceled, but I didn't trust them so I went to my bank and canceled my card and put stop on any further withdrawals from my acct.
My bank too said that they were receiving numerous complaints from fellow customers, why don't they contact their customers when they see such charges that seem out of ordinary, guess they're just too busy (you reckon?) At anyrate, these scammers can't take anything else from me!
I urge all of you to go to Canadian and US BBB and file complaints using the info you have (if you have any ie., #800/type #'s even if you think they will have changed names and locations) and file complaints with them, US Attorney General, and any other entity out there that you can think of to complain to, besides these blog, and research sites (because while good help, they are basically venting sites)
We all have to stand up and stop these crooks in whatever means available to us.
To the gentleman who has a sick child with H1N1, and can't afford meds, etc, struggling to make ends meet, I hope everyone who has contributed complaints here, will promise to pray for you and others among us who are struggling to stand up under the financial pressure our govt., has inflicted and will continue to inflict on us until we make our voices heard and say we have had enough, we want our jobs to come home from the foreign fields, we want America to work for Americans again.
Sorry about the venting, but I'm righteously indignant, and as a Christian, who fell for a quick get rich scheme instead of trusting my loving and giving God to take care of me. From this point on, I am going to pray over each and every financial question and decision in my life. We live from paycheck to paycheck, but I plan on being a better steward of what He provides than ever doing something so foolish again.
Well, I won't continue any longer because I have much housework to do, after I spend devotional time with Him. God bless all of us, and let's pray that He will guide us through the short time we have left here on this earth. Trust me people, it is much shorter than most of you want to believe. Enough preaching for now, hope my words of encouragement have helped in some small way. |

I was so dumb and gullible to believe that that is from Google. For this I will learn to surf for details first before signing anything. Lucky my credit card bank authorization called to inform me.To hell with all these thieves.sigh....sigh....I dont think I will see my hard earned money back. |

I called my credit card company and they said they can't stop it as they've checked and I agreed to it. I can't call USA on my phone (international calls are barred by my telco as I was having problems paying them; this is partly why I fell for this scam) so I wrote to them but no reply.
I said to my credit card company I'd cancel the card and I did but the debt still accumulates even though I haven't got the card no more.
I am a single parent with 6 kids aged 1-15. I am living on benefits only now and I am my wits' end. The kids' dads don't wanna know either.

One the screen that asks for your credit card information, scroll down and read the DISCLAIMER at the bottom, it's designed not to be visible in the initial window. It tells you that agreeing to pay the S&H for the kit AUTOMATICALLY ENROLLS you in the Membership Program after a 3 day trial period (witch is about how long it takes for the kit to arrive at your address I should guess).
Don't fall for the hype of getting something for nothing. Be cautious and ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT!
