Google Adwork Review
Is the Google Adworks Job a scam...?
Google Adwork, is among the latest entrants into the Google Biz Kit online fiasco. These work at home ads have wreaked such havoc on the net that Google Inc and even government authorities like the FTC have had to step in and start policing these ads.
Some of you may not know what I'm talking about so I want to give you a bit of back story here. At the start of this year several marketing companies began running ads for work at home kits, they developed some new sales techniques and their strategies were so successful that they've spawned a new industry term, FLOGS - Fake Blogs.
These fake blogs were wildly successful yet entirely unethical and borderline illegal, not to mention the fact that the products they were promoting were using illegal billing practices, but I'll get to that later.
There're currently two versions of flogs in rotation, one features a standard blog template with a fabricated story of a family man losing his job from a manufacturing plant. His story leads people to follow a link to one of these Google Adwork sites. The other version is even more devious since it features a fake newspaper site "reporting" on a families' success with the Google Adwork kit.
Here's exactly what they look like,
So Why are These Sites the Greatest Scams of 2009...?
These guys pretty much pull out all the stops when it comes to deceiving the public. First off, they illegally use legitimate companies' logos, such as ABC, CNN, and obviously Google to gain credibility. They also use IP tracking scripts to customize their offers.
So for instance when one person clicks on the ad it will read "Glendale Heights" Tribune but when you click it'll read "Your Home Town" Tribune. They also use this technique for the FLOGS, changing the persons home town to match yours. This is another dirty trick that's used to gain your trust.
Now you got to this site searching for info on "Google Adworks" but what you don't know is that this is simply the latest name they're using. Prior to this there was a long list of names like Easy Google Profit, Google Fortune, and so on...
This happens because these companies quickly burn their reputations and get exposed across the internet. Unfortunatley it's an easy fix for them; all they do is simply change the name and alter some graphics and viola they have a new Google scam to sell.
The Worst Infraction Perpetrated by Google Adworks...
Besides, the fact that they're trying to sell a nonexistent job, they also use a highly deceptive billing policy. On the Google Adwork page they claim you can start the program for just $2.95 S&H, but if you don't carefully read the Terms and Conditions you're in for a real surprise.
Really you're signing up for a 7 day trial of the product, after which you'll be billed $79.90! monthly for the continued access to the Google Adwork Kit. Most people fail to see this until it's too late and they've been overdrafted trying to pay real bills.
Overall, these scams have take millions of dollars from people and the ones who've actually received the CD kit (many paid and got nothing at all) reported that the materials were nothing more than a series of outdated Google AdSense eBooks, a far cry from the dream job they advertise.
