GoogAd Review
GoogAd is a
company that claims to teach people how to
get wealthy using the popular search engine
Google. They make an effort to appear
as if they're affiliated with or are a
subsidiary of Google, which they're not and
are only offering training.
GoogAd advertises that with their
training in what they call Search Marketing
anyone can make a six figure income.
They explain that if you learn how to
leverage Google's main advertising platform,
AdWords, skillfully then you can make a
fortune.
What they're really talking about is
pay-per-click advertising with Google and
affiliate marketing. Basically,
locating cheap keywords and using them to
market products from which you will earn
commissions.
This is a legitimate way to make money
but it is no where near as easy as GoogAd
make it seem. First of, you need to
have a spending budget because as the term
implies you'll be charged each time somebody
clicks on your advertisement.
Secondly, you'll need a website and
although there are ways to advertise for
products without having a site Google has
been making it increasingly difficult.
Also you need to learn how to sell because
it takes more than just putting up ads to
make sales; if you don't you'll just lose a
lot of money.
The other problem that people have had
with GoogAd.com is with their billing
practices. When you purchase their
intro CD for $3.87 they automatically begin
your trial period of their full services.
This means that if you don't cancel within
the allotted time they will begin charging
you $49 a month. A lot of their
customers have been unaware of this and have
accrued credit card charges over $200 before
realizing what's going on.
I think that having to pay monthly
charges to learn how to make money using
AdWords is over the top. There are
tons of services, e-books, and video
tutorials that will provide you with
detailed and thorough instructions for a low
one time payment.

Average Rating: Dave Billed to much Location unknown | 3:58pm on Monday, March 3rd, 2008 | I never even signed up and they started charging me, I signed up for something called grantconsultants which was the same idea. Pay for a CD and then pay a fee if you don't cancel. They are owned by the same company all with the same physical address in Las Vegas. I have had several charges from multiple companies that they own even tho I only signed up for the one. I promptly canceled with them and they charged me under something else. Thank God I look at my credit card statements. But what a pain I have had to call them once a month for three months. Every month its another charge from a different subsidary. The number on thier site is BS try this one 1866-616-1119. They did refund my money every time it just wicked inconvienent. |

Bryan Pinta Ohio | 12:45pm on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008 | I ordered mine on June 22, 2007 and did not recieve the disk until July something as I went on vacation June 29th for the 4th of July. What I did come back to was my disk AND a 49.95 charge on my bank card. The disk did not come within 7 days or give you enough time to look at the disk before you get slammed. For one, 14 days is not visible anywhere, nor is that even customary. I then called the number only to have no one pick up or wait on hold for wayy toooo long. When I did get through to cancel and ask for my refund she said she could not do that and that I had to write in. When I asked how many people call in and are upset her EXACT words were, "It depends on the day." Not a very good sign. Needless to say, I wrote in and it is now JANUARY 23, 2008 and still no refund. I am e-mailing them one more time today then letting the BBB and customer protection agency of Ohio to handle this. I hope all of you do the same so the BBB will put them on the right path. |
linda barber kingsport tn | 3:26pm on Wednesday, January 16th, 2008 | I did not even sign up for googad and they have been charging me for 12 months (don't let your husband pay your bills is the moral of that story). Patrick Conner Nevada | 2:08pm on Monday, January 7th, 2008 | I was talked into this and not only have I made absolutely no money, I have been charged over $300.00 to my credit card for this so called "training". I've been trying for over a week to contact them and have had no luck there either, if you ask me it is fraud and I urge everyone to stay away. |
Robert Turner Location unknown | 3:19pm on Wednesday, November 21st, 2007 | I got the GOOGAD CD and the fine print says after trial period you will be charging me money. It gives number here to call, but every time I try it it says it doesn't work. Well I'm inform you right now That I'm not a member and don't want to be so if you have my name there you need to CANCEL IT!!!!!!!! |
Gary Wyche Location unknown | 11:09am on Monday, November 12th, 2007 | Cant believe that this business that purported to be part of Google is able to maintain a business using less than legitimate tactics. I have been used for 11 months at $49.95 monthly. Said to say that trust doesn't apply to some. |
